‘Master spy’ Christopher Steele admits he used unverified internet post to create Trump dossier

Christopher Steele, the ex-British spy who fueled Russiagate hysteria with his DNC-commissioned opposition research on Donald Trump, admitted during a lawsuit deposition that he relied on unverified information contained in a report published by CNN iReport – a now-defunct “user-generated” news site. Stories featured on iReport were submitted by citizen journalists and were not edited, fact-checked, or screened before being published.

Steele acknowledged under questioning that he had used a July 28, 2009 report published on iReport to substantiate claims he made about internet hosting company Webzilla and its alleged Kremlin ties. However, the former British intel officer insisted that he thought iReport boasted the same thorough journalistic standards as CNN.

Boeing Tumbles On Grand Jury Subpoena Probing 737 MAX Approval

In the latest blow to both Boeing and the Federal Aviation Administration, the WSJ reported overnight that Federal prosecutors and Department of Transportation officials are scrutinizing the development of Boeing 737 MAX jetliners and in particular its anti-stall (MCAS) system, inquiries described as "unusual" and which come amid probes of regulators' safety approvals of the new plane.

The Seattle Times separately reported that Boeing’s safety analysis of a new flight control system on 737 MAX jets had several crucial flaws.

According to the WSJ, a "grand jury in Washington, D.C., issued a broad subpoena dated March 11 - a day after the Ethiopian Airlines crash a week ago - to at least one person involved in the 737 MAX’s development, seeking related documents, including correspondence, emails and other messages." The subpoena, with a prosecutor from the Justice Department’s criminal division listed as a contact, sought documents to be handed over later this month.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Boeing did the unpardonable, in terms of aviation safety; they knew this iteration was both flawed, and that training for pilots woefully inadequate, and yet, they approved its release anyway.

My late dad was an aircraft instrument mechanic; and I always loved to fly, because I thought that every other aircraft instrument mechanic was just as dedicated, and thorough, as my late dad, who would not sign of on an instrument's trustworthiness.

Now, we have a major corporation which appears to have not given a damn whether their aircraft was safe, in order to rake in the profits, at least until something horrendous happened; the Boeing executives who signed off on this, should be brought up on criminal charges.

And here is a companion piece you might find interesting, also from zerohedge.com:

WATCH Bulgarian policemen use pepper spray against protesters…but wind blows it back in their faces

Bulgarian policemen inadvertently pepper-sprayed themselves during a protest rally in the country’s capital Sofia on Sunday, when they diffused the chemical at demonstrators against the wind.

Video has emerged online showing several police officers forming a barricade in a bid to calm the crowd of protesters, some of whom were waving national flags. One of the policemen then deploys pepper spray but it blows straight back into the cops’ faces, forcing them to retreat. The footage ends with scenes of officers rinsing their eyes with water.

What are they trying to hide? Out of all the violent videos on the ‘net, possessing the NZ mosque shooting video can now get you 10 years in prison

An 18-year-old man was arrested in New Zealand for merely sharing the live stream video of the Christchurch shooting. “The live stream video of the shootings in Christchurch has been classified by the Chief Censor’s Office as objectionable,” reports Radio NZ. “Police said anyone in possession of the video of the shootings, or found to be distributing it, could face imprisonment.”

This means, essentially, that linking to content the government doesn’t like is now a crime in New Zealand.

So wait a minute. YouTube alone hosts countless murder videos covering everything from war-time military shootings to civilian gunfight videos in which people are fatally shot and killed. Yet possessing those videos — or sharing them, or posting them — apparently isn’t a crime in New Zealand or anywhere in the western world.

PHARMACOLOGIST: MARIJUANA IS A LOT MORE THAN JUST THC

Medical marijuana is legal in 33 states as of November 2018. Yet the federal government still insists marijuana has no legal use and is easy to abuse. In the meantime, medical marijuana dispensaries have an increasing array of products available for pain, anxiety, sex and more.

The glass counters and their jars of products in the dispensary resemble an 18th century pharmacy. Many strains for sale have evocative and magical names like Blue Dream, Bubba Kush and Chocolope. But what does it all mean? Are there really differences in the medical qualities of the various strains? Or, are the different strains with the fanciful names all just advertising gimmicks?

"Kicking The Can Down The Road Forever": Nobody In Charge Wants 2019 To Actually Begin

As we crawl towards the end of Q1 it becomes evident that the main theme for 2019, besides appalling far-right violence, is that nobody in charge wants 2019 to actually begin. What do I mean by that? That all we see everywhere is can-kicking rather than decision making.

US Military Now Planning To Keep 1,000 Troops On The Ground In Syria

President Trump ordered complete US withdrawal in December; in February he said 200 would remain; and now...

The US military is now making plans to keep almost 1,000 troops in Syria, officials said, a shift that comes three months after President Donald Trump ordered a complete withdrawal, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing unidentified US officials.

Talks with Turkey, European allies and US-backed Kurdish fighters have so far failed to secure an agreement to create a safe zone in northeastern Syria, part of Trump’s plan for leaving Syria, the Journal said.

The US now plans to keep working with Kurdish fighters in Syria despite Turkish threats to cross the border and attack the Kurds, the US officials said. The proposal may keep as many as 1,000 American forces, spread from the north of Syria to the south, they said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More proof, if anyone needed it, that President Trump is not at all in charge of US foreign policy when it comes to Syria.

Memory Hole New Zealand: News Reports Suggested 2 Shooters; IEDs Found Strapped To Multiple Vehicles; Suspect’s Strange Travel History

By Aaron Kesel

The official narrative being pushed in the mainstream press on the tragic shootings at two crowded mosques in New Zealand is that 28-year-old Brenton Tarrant murdered 50 people and injured scores of others at the time of this report by himself. However, there are more questions than answers regarding the attack.

For instance, New Zealand authorities reported that after the incident four suspects were taken into custody -- three men and a woman. Adding that they had found and neutralized several IEDs (improvised explosive devices) on the vehicles stopped during the arrests.

MSN even wrote the IEDs were "attached to the attackers' vehicles," which was cited by Associated Press at the top of the article...

Blueprint of the PNAC Plan for U.S. Global Hegemony

"Rebuilding America's Defenses" – A Summary
Blueprint of the PNAC Plan for U.S. Global Hegemony

05/06/03: When the Bush administration started lobbying for war with Iraq, they used as rationale a definition of preemption (generally meaning anticipatory use of force in the face of an imminent attack) that was broadened to allow for the waging of a preventive war in which force may be used even without evidence of an imminent attack. They also were able to convince much of the American public that Saddam Hussein had something to do with the attacks of 9/11, despite the fact that no evidence of a link has been uncovered. Consequently, many people supported the war on the basis of 1) a policy that has no legal basis in international law and 2) a totally unfounded claim of Iraqi guilt.

What most people do not know, however, is that certain high ranking officials in the Bush administration have been working for regime change in Iraq >>>

New Zealand: The Unraveling of an Israeli Mass Murder?

Arthur Brown’s 1968 “not so rock and roll” semi-hit song provided the backdrop for the carefully staged, fully theatricalized murder “hit video” (below) with a cast of far more than we will ever know.

We do know this, we are dealing with a professional assassin, experienced, a sociopath, and a “fake person” with no social media, no neighbors, no co-workers, no school friends, no records of getting weapons, a car out of thin air, a second shooter who dissolved and some very serious continuity problems in his video with some victims “pre-killed” by the Easter Bunny?

We have a single young man, 28 years old, a “physical trainer” with tons of inherited money, who travels the world, photographs everything, is loved by everyone, then mysteriously goes on a personal murder rampage.

But the original safety analysis that Boeing delivered to the FAA for a new flight control system on the MAX — a report used to certify the plane as safe to fly — had several crucial flaws.

9TH CIRCUIT REBUFFS U.S. GOVERNMENT IN BUNDY CASE

A federal appeals court has put a roadblock in front of the government’s attempt to appeal a district judge’s decision to throw out its case against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy on the grounds of prosecutorial misconduct.

Bundy and other family members were charged after an armed standoff at their ranch over grazing fees the government claimed they had not paid. The government confiscated some of the family’s cattle, supporters from across the nation gathered and the standoff ensued. The feds eventually backed down.

But when the government put Bundy and others on trial for their actions, the case collapsed.

The Bundys’ lawyer, Larry Klayman, has written about the DOJ’s actions, in his WND columns as well as on the Cliven Bundy Legal Defense Fund site.

NZSAS soldiers in Christchurch for snipers event responded to mosque terror attack

Some of the world's most deadly sharpshooters were in Christchurch when New Zealand's worst ever terror attack unfolded on Friday, with NZSAS taking to the streets to help hunt the rampaging mosque shooter.

Snipers from the New Zealand military, as well as professional snipers from Australia and Asian countries, had been at the Defence Force shooting range at West Melton, 25kms west of the city, the Herald has been told.

When the massacre unfolded, they were sprung into action and understood to have been granted special powers to take up arms in order to protect the public.

NZSAS soldiers were photographed with weapons and balaclavas masking their face near the Al Noor Mosque by Hagley Park where a gunman stormed Friday prayer and shot dead more than 40 people.

Humanise the victims, not the terrorist

The media-hungry terrorist responsible for the Christchurch shootings does not deserve our attention. His victims do.
***
Then I stopped. I realised, after sifting through the bleak headlines and darker social media posts, that his broader objective was reeling us in. Seducing us into examining his very word, affixing our eyes to his image and video of the massacre, and most lastingly, memorising his name.

This was the bigger mission that followed the massacre. He wanted us spellbound. Lured into humanising every dimension of his being, and every vile sliver of his act, in place of the victims. Their lives, their stories, and most notably, their names.
