ISIS leader has been killed... for the 6th time. Are they trying to distract us from something?

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are a number of things I find very disturbing in the narrative, including, of course, that this is the 6th time this guy has allegedly been killed; and again, killed by being blown to smithereens, courtesy of the US attack team, coupled by the effects of the explosive belt he was allegedly wearing at the time.

How would the US have confirmed that it was actually him, without dental records, or DNA?!?

One has to confess, that comparing the earlier pics of the guy, more current images suggest that he had turned into rather one very heavy, if not morbidly obese, person; so my question is, was it the same person as the person who was depicted in those earlier photos?!?

But what about the kids he allegedly killed with him?!? Are these children merely collateral damage, and no one knew quite who they were, or what their relationship with Al Baghdadi was?!?

And of course, underlying my concerns here, is the reality, that whoever President Obama got shot up, in Abbotabad, Pakistan, was NOT Bin Laden; the guy died of natural causes in December of 2001.

Bin Laden died in Afghanistan in 2001, not in 2011 in Pakistan: American scholar

Osama Bin Laden has been dead since December 2001

And it is very interesting to me, what was done with what should have been "evidence" from the alleged hit on Bin Laden in Abbotabad, Pakistan: if, in fact, the US military got "the right person" here, why would these images be subject to a purge?!?

This article goes on to state:

"US military chief ordered his subordinates to destroy any photographs of Osama bin Laden's body or give them to the CIA. Eleven days after the killing of Osama bin Laden in 2011, the US military's top special operations officer ordered subordinates to destroy any photographs of the al-Qaida founder's corpse or turn them over to the CIA, according to a newly released email.

The email was obtained under a freedom of information request by the conservative legal group Judicial Watch. The document, released on Monday by the group, shows that Admiral William McRaven, who heads the US Special Operations Command, told military officers on 13 May 2011 that photos of Bin Laden's remains should have been sent to the CIA or already destroyed. Bin Laden was killed by a special ops team in Pakistan on 2 May 2011.

McRaven's order to purge the bin Laden material came 10 days after the Associated Press asked for the photos and other documents under the US Freedom of Information Act. Typically, when a freedom of information request is filed to a government agency under the Federal Records Act, the agency is obliged to preserve the material sought – even if the agency later denies the request."

I am almost ready to bet, that if any FOIAs come forward for the alleged (and of course, 6th, definitive) assassination of Al Baghdadi come forward, that we can look at a purge of any imagery which President Trump may have actually viewed from the Situation Room.

After all, Americans have become singularly accustomed to its government lying to them, to start wars and/or occupations of places with specific, extensive natural resources ; it will be interesting to see where President Trump and his "Spin Cycle Team", take this.

And a companion piece, also at blacklistednews.com, has this take on the alleged assassination:

"NO PROOF": RUSSIA DISMISSES TRUMP'S BAGHDADI VICTORY LAP AS ‘PROPAGANDA’ The article goes on to state: "SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE
Moscow is dismissing President Trump's celebratory statements on the US special forces raid which allegedly killed Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as but premature 'propaganda'.

Detailing some of the dismissive statements to come out of Russia hours following the major White House announcement of the terror's leader's death — or what's become the Trump administration's own "bin Laden moment" — The Daily Beast cites Russian state TV correspondent in the United States Denis Davydov as saying “Trump has elections coming up in a year and this announcement of al-Baghdadi’s liquidation will add some points for the Commander-in-Chief.”

PG&E SHUTDOWNS SPREAD ACROSS BAY AREA, MORE MAY COME THIS WEEK

SOURCE: MERCURY NEWS
Nearly 1 million Pacific Gas & Electric Co. customers across the Bay Area and elsewhere in Northern California start their first full day without power Sunday and the utility has warned it could do another round of shutdowns if winds pick up later in the week.

The North Bay and northern Sierra foothills were among the first areas to lose power about 5 p.m. Saturday, said Mark Quinlan, the utility’s incident commander for the public safety power shutoff. Parts of the East Bay and South Bay followed, and by early Sunday PG&E’s outage map was sprinkled with dozens of neighborhoods without power.

The shutdowns affect affect well over 2 million residents in 36 counties and PG&E said it could be 48 hours before restorations begin.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To anyone on any medical device requiring electricity in the affected areas; you need to call the medical professional who prescribed this for you, and ask what "back-up plan" should be.

Were it me, in some area like this, I would really think hard and fast about getting a generator, to prevent any disruption in what the device did for me.

Russian Military Releases Satellite Images Confirming US Smuggling of Syrian Oil

The Russian military described the US scheme as nothing less than "international state banditism."

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian Defense Ministry published satellite intelligence images proving that oil from Syria was sent abroad under the guard of US servicemen before and after the defeat of the Daesh terrorists, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Saturday.

The ministry spokesman said that "the space intelligence images showed that oil was actively extracted and massively exported for processing outside Syria, under the reliable protection of US troops, before and after the defeat of the Daesh* terrorists."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I never used to believe that I lived in a country where war criminals ruled; now, it is impossible for me to believe otherwise.

Our Presidents have, through the on-going corruption of the military industrial complex, aligned with other influences (such as Tel Aviv, wanting the US to take down every government it doesn't like in the Middle East, which means all of them) US Presidents have become War Criminals of the highest order, including President Obama; he was just a little more shifty about it than an is "in your face" Trump Administration.

With Little Fanfare, William Barr Formally Announces Orwellian Pre-Crime Program

Authored by Whitney Webb via MintPressNews.com,

A recent memorandum authored by Attorney General William Barr announced a new “pre-crime” program inspired by “War on Terror” tactics and is set to be implemented next year...

Perhaps the most jarring aspect of the memorandum is Barr’s frank admission that many of the “early engagement” tactics that the new program would utilize were “born of the posture we adopted with respect to terrorist threats.” In other words, the foundation for many of the policies utilized following the post-9/11 “war on terror” are also the foundation for the “early engagement” tactics that Barr seeks to use to identify potential criminals as part of this new policy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As a Christian Pacifist Activist, I will never advocate violence; that being said, I have grave concerns about just how Barr's programs intend to "work around" both the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, to accomplish the goals of Barr's programs.

Joe Biden intervened at least two times on matters his son Hunter's firms was being paid to lobby on, according to government records reviewed by the Washington Examiner.

The incidents took place when Biden was a senior and influential US senator, years before he infamously leveraged his position as Vice President to benefit a Ukrainian gas company whose board Hunter sat on.

On Feb 28, 2007, then-Senator Biden reached out to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to let them know that he was "concerned about the Department's proposed chemical security regulations authorized by Section 550 of DHS Appropriations Act of 2007."

The rule, passed in 2006 as part of the DHS appropriations bill, requires chemical plants considered to be high-risk submit site safety plans to DHS for approval - which are to include security credentialing and employee training efforts.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And this.... is one of the "best options" the DNC believes it has with which to clobber President Trump in November of 2020?!?

Tom Perez, where the hell are you, when the facts of the matter speak for themselves?!?

"I'm Very Proud Of The Enemies I Have": Soros Predicts Victory For Globalists In 2020

Progressive billionaire George Soros believes that the global surge in nationalism - from Brexit to Trump - is an aberration, and that globalism will make a resurgence after the 2020 US election.

In a recent interview with the New York Times (in which he also endorsed Elizabeth Warren), the 89-year-old investor opined last week in a collection of essays called "In Defense of Open Society" that his brand of globalism - which he defines as an integrated, open society which abides by the law (which is easy to do when allied lawmakers are making them) - is out of favor. Instead, Trump's "America First" approach, debates over Brexit and trade wars have taken precedent.

Looking out a window with expansive views of Central Park, Mr. Soros spoke about China, Mr. Trump and who he thinks will face off against the president in next year’s election.

Generation X Faces A Bleak, Impoverished Old Age

Authored by Ted Rall via Unz.com,

In 1991, demographers Neil Howe and William Strauss published their awkwardly titled tome “13th Gen,” about Generation X — the Americans born between 1961 and 1981. If Xers had paid attention, they would have committed suicide.

“Child poverty, employment, wages, home ownership, arrest records — in every category, this generation, the 13th since the American Revolution, is doing worse than the generation that came before,” New York Times book critic Andrew Leonard wrote at the time.

“Indeed, for the first time since the Civil War, the authors of ’13th Gen’ keep reminding us, young people are unlikely to surpass the affluence of their parents.”

Who Has Spent The Most Dollars Lobbying Washington In 2019?

Authored by Karl Evers-Hillstrom via OpenSecrets.org

The pharmaceutical industry is holding on to its title as the top lobbying force in Washington amid pressure from lawmakers at all ends of the ideological spectrum.Drugmakers have spent more than $129 million through September, slightly down from nearly $133 million at this time last year, but still far more than any other industry.

The larger pharmaceutical/health products industry, which includes medical devices and dietary supplement companies along with drugmakers, spent $228 million through the third quarter of 2019, a record-breaking pace that is up $10 million from this time last year.

House Democrats recently advanced legislation that allows the federal government to negotiate the price of drugs that lack generic equivalents. The bill passed the House Ways and Means Committee this week without a number of amendments proposed by progressive Democrats who argued the bill isn’t strong enough.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Don't worry; in light of the fact of how owned Congress is by Big Pharma, the result will (almost always) be higher prices for drugs which come along with a staggering number of side effects, making taking that medication an almost death-defying experience for most patients.

Here's Why Trump's "Secure Syria's Oil" Plan Will Prove Practically Impossible

The below analysis is provided by "Ehsani" — a Middle East expert, Syrian-American banker and financial analyst who visits the region frequently and writes for the influential geopolitical analysis blog, Syria Comment.

Much has been debated since President Trump tweeted that “The U.S has secured the oil” in Syria. Is this feasible? Does it make any sense? The below will explain how and why the answer is a resounding NO.

Al-Omar and Conoco fields are already secured by Kurdish-led SDF and U.S forces. Some of the oil from these fields was being sold through third parties to Syria's government by giving it in crude form and taking back half the quantity as refined product (the government owns the refineries).

Webmaster's Commentary:

One of the issues conveniently left out of this analysis is, how long will Russia wait to disabuse President Trump over the statement he has made about "controlling Syria's oil"?!?

I am not a betting person, but I would almost be willing to bet, not for long.

India, US Officially Suspend Defense Cooperation

Submitted by GreatGameIndia, a journal on Geopolitics and International Relations.

In a major development brewing for sometime now, India and US have officially suspended Defense Cooperation after Americans refused to give India high-end jet-engine technology. At the heart of the Indo-US Strategic Partnership is what is known as the Defense Technology and Trade Initiative or DTTI. Under the 2012 DTTI, India and the US set up joint working groups (JWGs) for cooperation on aircraft carriers and jet engine technology, all of the 4 pathfinder projects have now been shutdown. The move comes days after former US Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Henry Kissinger’s visit to India.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) Dear Trump Administration; your timing could have possibly been worse on this issue, but I do not know how.

The festering relationship between India and Pakistan, over the status of Kashmir, appears to be coming to a head; both are nuclear armed countries.

We see this, published just a couple of weeks ago from the asiaforum.com:

China remains Pakistan’s key partner
12 October 2019
The article goes on to state:

'While meeting with a visiting Chinese military delegation led by General Xu Qiliang, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan termed ties with China an ‘anchor for regional stability’. The visit of the military delegation came amidst rising India–Pakistan tensions over India’s unilateral revocation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, stripping Indian-controlled Kashmir of its autonomy. The action led to a series of measures by China and Pakistan, again proving China to be Pakistan’s irreplaceable ally.'

IF in fact, the above is true, where do you think that India will go for their nuclear control switches?!? Russia, perhaps?!?

And are you thoroughly unable to fathom the fact that when the US pulls away on something like these controls, nature abhors a vacuum, and there will be another country more than willing to help india achieve its goal, legally, or illegally?

I am having a palm to forehead moment right now, at velocity, upon reading this.

Turkey Close To Purchasing Russian Su-35 Jets After Lockheed Deal Blocked

Turkey's Daily Sabah reports that Ankara is close to purchasing an initial round of Su-35 fighter jets from Russia, in what would mark a huge reversal of course following the heated Lockheed F-35 fighter and Russian S-400 saga with Washington, which has sunk US-Turkey relations to a low point over the past year.

Citing Turkish defense sources, the report reveals:

Turkish and Russian officials are discussing the details of the sale of a total of 36 Su-35 fighter jets to Turkey, two months after President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an's visit to the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) aviation show outside of Moscow.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This was a very simple, and rational, choice by Edrogan; the SU-35 fighter jets work; Lockheed-Martin's F-35, after billions of dollars spent, and legitimate complaints by excellent US fighter pilots, does not.

The Plundering Of Ukraine By Corrupt American Democrats

Authored by Israel Shamir via The Unz Review,m

Top Dems are involved in the plundering of the Ukraine: new names, mind-boggling accounts. The mysterious ‘whistleblower’ whose report had unleashed the impeachment is named in the exclusive interview given to the Unz Review by a prominent Ukrainian politician, an ex-Member of Parliament of four terms, a candidate for Ukraine’s presidency, Oleg Tsarev.

Oleg, you followed Biden story from its very inception. Biden is not the only Dem politician involved in the Ukrainian corruption schemes, is he?
Indeed, John Kerry, the Secretary of State in Obama’s administration, was his partner-in-crime. But Joe Biden was number one. During the Obama presidency, Biden was the US proconsul for Ukraine, and he was involved in many corruption schemes. He authorised transfer of three billion dollars of the US taxpayers’ money to the post-coup government of the Ukraine; the money was stolen, and Biden took a big share of the spoils.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable, but yet it happened... under Obama's watch.

A bombshell court filing from Michael Flynn's new legal team alleges that FBI agents altered a '302' form - the official record of the former national security adviser's interview - that resulted in the DOJ charging him with lying to investigators.

A bombshell court filing from Michael Flynn's new legal team alleges that FBI agents altered a '302' form - the official record of the former national security adviser's interview - that resulted in the DOJ charging him with lying to investigators.

Early last week Flynn attorney Sidney Powell filed a sealed reply to federal prosecutors' claims that they have satisfied their requirements for turning over evidence in the case. A minimally redacted copy of the reply brief was made public late last week, revealing the plot to destroy Flynn, as reported by The Federalist's Margot Cleveland.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As long as these institutional jackals, who are supposed to be political- party neutral, continue to play with the lives of people in power in DC, in order to perpetuate their little games of "GOTYA!! politics, We the People have utterly zero representation whatsoever.

This absolutely sickens me, the way in which Democratic "Apparatchiks" care so little about the people of this country, that they find their game so all-consuming (and consuming of our alleged representatives' time ) that it is given the highest priority within their agency.

Henceforward, the acronym FBI will be the abbreviation for Federal Bureau of Incompetence; they have just utterly tarred the reputation of the agency, in a way from which it may never really recover.

When you were a kid, did you ever imagine that the FBI would simply make something up, and lie to Congress and/or the American people, in order to throw a couple of individuals under the proverbial bus, as the old phrase goes?!?

Funny; neither did I.

Hundreds of Kentucky miners who have blocked a $1million coal train for TWO MONTHS after being sacked without pay finally win their battle with mine owner and are handed $5.1million deal

Former Blackjewel coal miners end months of protests and a layoff with a $5 million deal for back pay after company's sudden bankruptcy.

Blackjewel's bankruptcy came without the mandatory 60-day advance warning
Before the settlement, miners camped out for two months, blocking a train with a $1million worth of coal from getting to its destination
.
While the miners receive owed salary, vacation pay, retirement and health savings account contributions were not covered in the settlement.

Senator Bernie Sanders reportedly delivered 18 pizzas to the protesting miners.

One MILLION march in Chile! Furious activists snub military night-time curfew and occupy streets - after 18 were killed and hundreds wounded in on-going protest against government

Almost one million protesters took to the streets of Chile yesterday and stayed through the night in the biggest demonstrations since violence broke out in the capital a week ago.

So far at least 18 people have been killed, hundreds wounded, and millions of dollars worth of damage has been caused.

Demonstrators waving national flags, blowing whistles and horns, wafting incense and bearing placards urging political and social change streamed through the streets, walking for miles from around Santiago to converge on Plaza Italia.

The scenes were replicated in cities around the country.

Protests that started over a hike in public transport fares boiled into riots, arson and looting that have killed at least 18 people, injured hundreds, brought more than 7,000 arrests and caused more than $1.4billion of losses to Chilean businesses.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The effects of these demonstrations remind me of the US government's push to confiscate all US fire-arms, to make the coming "pacification" of Americans more "easy" for government officials; looking at the anger and frustration so many Americans are experiencing right now, I somehow wouldn't hold my breath, that such actions are ultimately going to have the desired effects.

Charles Hugh Smith: "This Is What Worries Me"

Authored by Charles Hugh Smith via OfTwoMinds blog,

In this disintegrative phase, people are increasingly indignant if their magical-thinking "solution" is challenged.

The turmoil over "facts" and "fake news" is another manifestation. As financial commentator Ben Hunt recently put it, the "tells" are all being manipulated to support a dominant narrative. So the unemployment rate, consumer inflation and the stock market are all manipulated to support the illusion that all is going swimmingly.

As the distance between these fantasy "facts" and experiential reality widen, trust in these "tells" (i.e. trustworthy indicators) declines.

As trust in these "facts" and the "experts" who gin them up declines, the corporate media and authorities double-down in support of their fictitious "facts": any doubters are "conspiracy theorists," purveyors of "fake news," or dastardly Russian stooges repeating "Kremlin talking points."

"We Want To Keep The Oil"

Authored by Caitlin Johnstone via Medium.com,

“Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand,
workin’ in the dark against your fellow man.
But as sure as God made black and white
what’s down in the dark will be brought to the light.”

~ Johnny Cash/traditional, ‘God’s Gonna Cut You Down’

The Grayzone has an excellent new article out titled “US troops are staying in Syria to ‘keep the oil’ — and have already killed hundreds over it” detailing the many ways the Trump administration has openly admitted that it is keeping US troops in Syria to control the nation’s oil fields so that the Syrian government can’t use it to fund reconstruction efforts.

“We’ve secured the oil, and therefore a small number of US troops will remain in the area where they have the oil,” Trump said in a recent press conference.

“And we’re going to be protecting it. And we’ll be deciding what we’re going to do with it in the future.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a word, please; neither the United States, nor Israel, has the right to invade a sovereign country, and profit from its natural resources, to keep its government from using its natural resources for reconstruction.

And whoever gave you any cock-eyed notion that this was either legal, or moral, should be crate-trained, like a little puppy, so as not to let its foulness further pollute the already criminal opinion so many, both around the world, and within this country, have of the US government right now.

When I was a kid, and easily impressed by public school propaganda, I used to believe that this country would, or could, do no wrong; then came the VietNam War, and I have never been able to trust this government ever since.

And it has not been helping that ever since your inauguration in 2017, you have added a new, and truly ignoble title, to that of the Office of the President of the United States: The United States' Merchant of Death in Chief, a role you obviously relish, particularly with regard to the Saudi monarchy and government, with which the US military and government are deeply "in bed", through the continuation, and aiding and abetting, of Saudi war crimes in Yemen.

When I was a kid, I could never have imagined that I would be living in a country run by war criminals; unfortunately, that has absolutely become the case with the Unhinged, Surveilled State of Amerika, and one can vote, and vote, and vote, hoping and praying something will change, yet nothing ever does; it is simply a case of which war criminals are in power at any given time.

I had so hoped, during the last election cycle, that your administration would, somehow, be different, given your campaign rhetoric, and that those promises about being less war-centric, as a method for the US government to achieve what it wanted, both geopolitically, and financially, might possibly be honored.

They have not been honored, no will they be in the future; simply put, you are just another frightful, massively disappointing caricature of a politician, driven by your obscene obeisance to Tel Aviv, and the financial desires of the people in the military/industrial complex, who surround you. and advise you.

But a question which should be keeping both you, and your advisors, up nights is the following; what is Putin's Russia going to do to keep this oil theft from becoming permanent?!? Mr. President, are you and your advisors ready to bring this country to war against Russia, for defending Syria's sovereignty?!?

40 Killed, 1,000 Wounded In One Day As Violent Protests Sweep Across Iraq

A surge in violent clashes with police marked another deadly week of protests in Iraq, after two weeks ago over 150 were killed and over 6,000 wounded nationwide when the large-scale demonstrations began.

On Friday over 40 protesters were killed in clashes with police, and according to security sources cited in Reuters, an "Iranian-backed militia opened fire to try to quell renewed demonstrations."

Baghdad's central diplomatic compound area which hosts the heavily fortified American Embassy among others has remained on security lock-down throughout much of the month.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How in the world would Reuters know that the killings were done by "an Iranian-backed militia"?!?

The short answer is, they don't; Iran was simply a convenient country to blame for this escalation in violence.

Were I a betting woman, I would almost be willing to bet that those militia members doing the shooting and killing, were either American or Israeli military; this would be "the justification" for stopping the American withdrawal from the country, as its leadership is currently demanding.

Could it have been some of Muktada Al Sadr's people, former members of his Mahdi Army, which gave the US and Debathified Sunni militias such grief after the fall of Saddam Hussein?!? Possibly.

But again, why would Al Sadr's people give the US its excuse for staying in-country?!?

The guy may be many things, but stupid is absolutely not one of them; the fact that he is still breathing air, readily testifies to his mental acuity.

George Soros says all his ‘enemies’ are wannabe dictators as he drops unprecedented wads of lobbying cash

In the world of billionaire financier George Soros, his critics are “would-be dictators” who will not succeed. Meanwhile, under Trump, the Open Society founder has been pouring greater sums into lobbying than ever before.

“I’m very proud of the enemies I have,” he told the New York Times in an interview published Friday, in which he confidently predicted the popular opposition to his globalist philosophy was winding down and that a backlash against Trump-style nationalism was on the horizon.

"It’s a perfect way to tell a dictator or a would-be dictator, if he identifies me as an enemy."

Soros slammed the US president as “an aberration,” predicting “what he has done in the Middle East” – clearing troops from the Turkish-Syrian border, allowing peace to break out with a deal between Russia and Turkey – “will contribute to his demise next year.”

GoFundMe EXPOSED for taking money from Big Pharma to de-platform vaccine skeptics

GoFundMe spokesman Bobby Whithorne now claims that campaigns that try to raise money for people who’ve been injured by vaccines, for instance, are somehow promoting “misinformation about vaccines” that “violate[s] GoFundMe’s terms of service,” and thus must be removed. And who’s behind these terms of service? Big Pharma, of course!

As it turns out, GoFundMe was acquired for $600 million back in 2015 by an investment group known as Accel Partners, which just so happens to also be heavily invested in the pharmaceutical industry. In other words, because fundraising campaigns that draw attention to the dangers and ineffectiveness of vaccines directly impact a major segment of Accel’s portfolio, these campaigns must be stopped – freedom of speech be damned!

Escobar: Vladimir Putin, Syria's Pacifier-In-Chief

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Saker blog,

Russia-Turkey deal establishes ‘safe zone’ along Turkish border and there will be joint Russia-Turkey military patrols.

The negotiations in Sochi were long – over six hours – tense and tough. Two leaders in a room with their interpreters and several senior Turkish ministers close by if advice was needed. The stakes were immense: a road map to pacify northeast Syria, finally.

The press conference afterwards was somewhat awkward – riffing on generalities. But there’s no question that in the end Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan managed the near impossible.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That last paragraph, regarding "Syrian territorial integrity", is nothing less than a miracle here.

But I am very concerned that President Trump has decided to leave US military to guard the oil fields from ISIS; one has to wonder just how soon we may see one, or many, shooting incidents against both Turkish and Russian military.

I am not holding my breath right now, that the US government and military do not want a confrontation here; but again, if that is not the case, why are they not bringing our troops in Syria home?!?

Military action from one NATO member against another, cannot be good for the organization's image, or that of the US for that matter.

And it appears that the President has absolutely no "plan B", if the situation of unwanted troops on Syrian soil brings the shooting war to a head.

Should Erdogan's Summit With Putin Be Ringing Alarm Bells For NATO?

Authored by Con Coughlin via The Gatestone Institute,

With Turkey seemingly intent on forging an ever-closer relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the time has come to give serious consideration to Ankara's continued membership of the NATO alliance.

When the Turks first became members of NATO back in 1952, it was because their country was seen as a vital bulwark against the Soviet Union. Having Turkey in NATO meant it was easier to monitor the activities of the Soviet Black Sea fleet, and limited Moscow's ability to spread its tentacles into eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Now, thanks to the increasingly anti-Western conduct of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, none of these considerations remains relevant.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Coughlin, a word, please.

We know who you are and what you represent; The Gatestone Institute The Wikipedia article goes on to state:

'Gatestone Institute is a conservative think tank with a focus on Islam and the Middle East. It was founded in 2008 by Nina Rosenwald, who serves as its president. Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and former national security advisor, John R. Bolton, was its chairman from 2013 to March 2018.'

First, I would like to politely ask just what NATO should do with Turkey at this time?!? Invade, perhaps, with Russia coming in to assist the Turks, as they did so remarkably well with Bashar Al Assad's Syria?!?

And what, sir, about the US nuclear missiles, still held at Incirkik?!? Would you suggest some kind of decap strike through which to secure them, then take a beeline out of Turkey, to store them "somewhere safe"?

It looks like the nearest NATO country, and relatively new to NATO participation, is Bulgaria Map: Turkey and Surrounding Countries

We are looking at a nearly 2 hours in, and two hours out; this is way too long to insure safely getting in, and getting out, of Turkey, without affecting a successful decap strike on Istanbul first; at what cost to NATO and Turkish military personnel, Mr. Coughlin?!?

Apparently, Mr. Coughlin has a difficult time getting how NATO has really been ignoring Turkey, as it continues surrounding Russia with NATO troops and equipment in both Europe, and particularly in former Communist entities:

US boosts number of high-precision weapons in sea waters surrounding Russia – Navy chief

Amid rising tensions, NATO chief pitches confrontation with Russia to US Congress

Preperations for War: NATO/US Intelligence Activities Increase around Russian Border

Folks, just because something would be the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing for NATO and the US to do, regarding Russia, is utterly zero guarantee that they won't do it.

And I would like to also politely remind Mr. Coughlin, that the US was attempting to sell Erdogan, his Military, and all of Turkey on a still-flawed, horribly dysfunctional defense system in the F-35 fighter.

F35 Flaws are being hidden, so LOCKHEED-MARTIN can declare that the development phase is done.

Pentagon is battling the clock to fix serious, hither-to, unreported F-35 problems

F-35 Fighter Jets Face Serious Flaws, Report Finds

F-35 faces most critical test

And forgive me, Mr. Coughlin, but why in the name of Heaven, is the US President Trump attempting to "sell" our NATO ally, Edrogan's Turkey, on the concept of buying these still very flawed fighters, when the world has seen precisely how wonderful the Russian S-400 defensive system has worked in Syria?

The point is, sir, when the US and NATO push Turkey away from them, Turkey is going to behave as the one which has been slighted here; that no one in the State Department, Pentagon, or White House saw this coming, was absolutely a catastrophic failure of imagination on their part.

It’s not research, it’s a hunt for marketing strategies: Research reveals corporations like Coca-cola can bury studies with negative findings

A new study has confirmed what we already suspected: Coca-Cola is such a powerful organization, they can suppress any kind of information they want — and that includes burying valuable research with “negative” findings related to their products. In fact, it has just been revealed that many Coca-Cola research partners are forced to sign contracts allowing the company to terminate their studies “without reason.”

But you can bet that “reason” has something to do with findings that paint sugar-sweetened beverages in a negative light. While Coca-Cola may try to sport the image of being transparent and supportive of unrestricted science, this new study from the University of Cambridge says otherwise. Indeed, it appears Coca-Cola is just like every other corrupt corporation. Is anyone surprised?

Watch what you say: Israel controls the narrative

It is interesting to note how the Israel Lobby is able to manage and contain the commentary of groups in America that might normally be critical of Israeli policies vis-à-vis the United States. A recent article by Professor Andrew Bacevich entitled “President Trump, Please End the American Era in the Middle East” is a good example of how self-censorship by authors works. The piece appeared as one of Bacevich’s regular weekly contributions to The American Conservative website under the rubric “Realism and Restraint.”

The article particularly focused on the foreign policy pronouncements of Bret Stephens, the resident neocon who writes for The New York Times. Stephens, per Bacevich, has been urging constant war in the Middle East and worrying lest “we may be witnessing the beginning of the end of the American era in the Middle East.”

Central Bank Hints At A "Big Reset" And Reveals A Possible Solution

Via Birch Gold Group,

It’s not every day you hear a major financial institution hint at the possibility of the entire economic system collapsing.

The reason major financial institutions (and the mainstream financial media) shy away from a negative outlook on the economy is out of fear of triggering a kind of “self-fulfilling prophecy.” People stampeding to sell stocks and pull money out of banks could cause a vicious cycle of declines and losses.

And so these institutions tend to be positive, no matter what is really happening. But if a hungry bear is standing behind you in the woods, do you want to be “optimistic” and hope it isn’t there?

Maybe reality has finally started to sink in. Zero Hedge captured the stark state of the “system” by quoting an article from the Dutch Central Bank:

Webmaster's Commentary:

When you hear or see a major bank write, or utter, words like this, it is time to get truly serious about making certain you have only enough cash in the bank to pay the bills, and find ways to invest, other than the US dollar.

But if the Dutch Central Bank is moving their gold reserves to a secured military facility, it appears that they are just about as serious about this as is a heart attack.

"Apocalypse Near" - Pentagon Warns Climate Change Could Cause US Military Collapse Within 20 Years

Authored by Yves Smith via NakedCapitalism.com,

The Pentagon has long been concerned about the threats climate change pose to stability and how it will lead to conflicts due to mass migration and even more intense competition for scarce resources. In the early 2000s, the military warned that climate change could induce large-scale deaths and migrations out of low-lying areas such as Bangladesh due to storms and flooding.

A recent look at the dangers climate change poses to US military operations, released over the summer by the Army War College, went virtually unnoticed despite offering “Apocalypse Near” scenarios a mere 20 years out. And it isn’t just that very bad things are in the offing; the report finds that “the Department of Defense (DoD) is precariously unprepared for the national security implications of climate change-induced global security challenges.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but have the writers of this "report" been channeling Al Gore's and Greta Thunberg's writings, using a dart board to determine what to include, and what to exclude?!?

Because what this feels like, from our Military, is another pitiful bid for yet more money for their already-bloated, unaccountable programs, trying to drum up sympathy by using the "climate change ruse", when they cannot prove just precisely what was done for the last budget round by Congress.

China Has Quietly Built A New “Great Wall” Cutting Across The Heart Of Europe

"The original Great Wall is a long brick structure that was built to keep northern barbarians out of China during ancient times," a new alarming report in Nikkei Asian Review detailing China's 'new Great Wall' rising in the heart of Europe recalls, but "The modern-day Great Wall in Europe is economic."

Beijing is waging an impressive influence campaign, complete with English-speaking news channels beamed across the Balkans, to "reach out to ex-Communist countries on the periphery of the EU," the report finds, as well as playing host to major China-East European economic summits in places like Dubrovnik, Croatia — site of a major annual conference last April, attended by no less than 17 European countries, including 12 members of the European Union.

And in other Balkan countries like Serbia, still reeling from the 1999 US-NATO bombing of Belgrade and later US-recognition of Kosovo independence, state-owned Chinese companies are active and on the rise.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to politely mention that, to get what it wants, geopolitically and economically, China makes trade deals and agreements; to get what it wants, geopolitically and economically, the US government rains down war and death.

What is wrong with this picture?!? BLOODY EVERYTHING, FOLKS!!

PG&E Crashes To All Time Low Over Fears It Will Be Blamed For Latest California Inferno

Shares of California's largest, insolvent utility, PG&E, plunged 26% to a new all time low on Friday...

... amid speculation that the company - which filed for bankruptcy at the start of the year as it was faced with soaring legal liabilities over its involvement in the most destructive California fire in history - would be held liable for the Kincade Fire which is burning in northern California, and has already affected 16,000 acres.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prayers for all affected here, and also that the professional and volunteer fire fighters involved can get this blaze out.

But if, in fact, PG & E can be proven culpable, they should be sued out of existence, broken up, and become a true utility company, dedicated to service for all California.

There is a sister article posted, also at zerohedge.com, which deserves some attention as well, and that is:

The USA PATRIOT Act: The Story of an Impulsive Bill that Eviscerated America's Civil Liberties

The USA PATRIOT Act provides a textbook example of how the United States federal government expands its power. An emergency happens, legitimate or otherwise. The media, playing its dutiful role as goad for greater government oversight, demands "something must be done." Government power is massively expanded, with little regard for whether or not what is being done is efficacious, to say nothing of the overall impact on our nation's civil liberties.

No goals are posted, because if targets are hit, this would necessitate the ending or scaling back of the program. Instead, the program becomes normalized. There are no questions asked about whether the program is accomplishing what it set out to do. It is now simply a part of American life and there is no going back.

Beijing Slams "Slandering, Arrogant" Pence Speech: "Look In The Mirror" And "Get Your Racist House In Order"

Vice President Mike Pence was called on once again to play the 'bad cop' in Washington's negotiations with China yesterday when he delivered an aggressive speech blasting Beijing's record on human rights. As noted yesterday, in a twice-delayed hawkish speech, Pence defended the pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong, while slamming both Nike and the NBA for kowtowing to Beijing.

Predictably, Beijing struck back on Friday, blasting the US's endemic racism and other problems that have "cast aside its morality and credibility." Hua Chunying, a spokeswoman for China’s foreign ministry, slammed Pence's "arrogance", and insisted that nothing could halt China's development. She also accused Pence of trying to disrupt China’s "unity or internal stability" and said Hong Kong, Taiwan and the far west region of Xinjiang are "internal affairs" that are none of Washington's business, according to Bloomberg.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) Vice-President Pence, a word, sir, please; I seem to have read a Biblical injunction about "taking the moat out of one own's eye, before removing it from someone else's" (this can actually be found as follows: Matthew 7:5)

The US record on human rights, both at home and abroad, has not been stellar, and I hate it when someone who's political system I despise, does hit the nail on the head, as has this person, Ms. Hua Chunying, done.

Ethnic tensions, particularly in our inner cities, still run horrifically high; a gold standard for education, which educates all of our kids to be numerate, literate, good with money, and brilliantly capable of critical thinking, is just not there.

The only thing our kids seem to be groomed for, is how to be content consumers, of both the political codswallop they are force-fed, and wanting "stuff" which will inevitably put them into an horrific debt situation, which their leadership extols as the "new normal."

And please do not have the inimitable gall and hubris, Mr. Vice President, of calling China "racist", when our inner city kids bear the brunt of some really bad decisions made in the Bowels of Power in DC, which include wars for economic gain, in which many of them have fought, and will be fighting, due to the "economic draft" they face, because they never got the skills in school to get out of that trap.

And the hell of this is, sir, that you know that you and your cronies are completely satisfied that it will never be YOUR kids who will have to go through this "economic draft" because of the huge power of sheer nepotism nearly all of you can wave at the world, and have them do your bidding.

Just ask Hunter and Joe Biden about that, if you do not believe me, sir.

DEAD MEN DON’T NEED IMPEACHMENT. Swamp in Panic: Trump In Danger.

In the Deep State’s current state of mania, an assassination attempt is not only likely but perhaps inevitable. I predict they will have one of their insiders still in the White House do it, or a foreign team (CIA trained) do the hit on his helicopter. Not a single CIA, DOJ, NSA, DNI or Secret Service leftover from Barack Hussein Obama should be allowed near him and then all 17 illegal spy agencies that have so disgraced my nation should be shaken up or even better, shut down.

No other leader in my nation’s history would have the audacity to take on these evil forces—or have a chance of winning other than Donald Trump—and they will do everything possible to take him out before he gets them.

The DOJ's Russiagate Probe Just Turned Into A Criminal Investigation

What began as an administrative review by the Justice Department into the origins of Russiagate has "shifted" to a criminal inquiry, according to the New York Times, citing two people familiar with the matter.

The move will allow prosecutor John H Durham the power to subpoena documents and witnesses, to impanel a grand jury, and to file criminal charges. Durham's progress has been closely monitored by Attorney General William Barr, who appointed the veteran investigator in May, tasking him with looking into FBI and CIA intelligence gathering operations surrounding the 2016 US election.

How Feminism Destroyed the Family

For in all this discussion hardly any mention was made of the almost universally accepted ideology, feminism, whose central and explicit aim has been to dismantle the supportive role of the male in the family and the family with it. And this is important because our understanding of the impact of both state intervention and the free market on the family is significantly flawed if we leave feminism and the consequences of feminism out of the equation.

This is because state intervention and its destructive effects have been enormously amplified by having to accommodate what is essentially feminist policy. And while the free market should be treated as a tool rather than a religion as Carlson wisely suggests, it is the same source, feminism, which has disastrously exacerbated the free market’s most harmful effects.

Feminism Was Women’s Great Enemy — Until Transgenderism Came Along

In 1969, 12 high priestesses of radical feminism gathered around a large table to celebrate the Last Supper in Greenwich Village. They enacted a Marxist liturgy beginning with a litany of feminism.

"Why are we here today?" the chairwoman asked. "To make revolution," the sisters chorused in reply.
"What kind of revolution?" she asked. "The Cultural Revolution," they chanted.
"And how do we make Cultural Revolution?" she demanded.
"By destroying the American family!" they answered.
"How do we destroy the family?" she came back.
"By destroying the American Patriarch," they cried exuberantly.
"And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?" she probed.
"By taking away his power!" "How do we do that?"
"By destroying monogamy!" they shouted. "How can we destroy monogamy?"

"By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution, abortion and homosexuality!" they resoundingly replied.

BREAKING: Judge Overrules Jury That Blocked Texas Father From Stopping Son's Transgender Transition

Half a victory. This procedure needs to be a Federal Felony. This Judge needs to be impeached and disbarred. The Mother needs to have her parental rights terminated and she needs to be committed to a mental institution for life.

On Thursday, a Texas Judge overruled a jury that decided on Monday that Jefferey Younger, father of seven-year-old boy James Younger, had no conservatorship of his children in terms of medical decisions. This meant that James' mother and Younger's ex-wife, Dr. Anne Georgulas, would have been allowed to continue chemical castration and other gender-changing medical procedures such as puberty blockers, despite the father's wishes. However, the court's ruling today grants conservatorship back Mr. Younger as well as Dr. Georgulas.

Reports: DOJ Review of Russia Probe Origins Is Now Criminal Investigation

The Department of Justice’s sweeping review into the origins of its Trump-Russia probe is now a criminal investigation, according to the New York Times.

The launch of a criminal probe allows U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor tapped by Attorney General William Barr to lead the review, to subpoena witnesses for testimony and documents. The move also authorizes Durham to impanel a grand jury and file charges.

“If true, this shows Bill Barr is doing EXACTLY his job: following the facts Those who damaged America and broke the law to spread this hoax are about to face accountability,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) tweeted in response to the Times’ report.

Of Course President Trump Is Being Lynched

The Constitution and The Bill of Rights are being lynched, first and foremost.

Impeachment is being pushed without authorization from the full House, as in, "The House of Representatives ... shall have the sole Power of Impeachment." The Constitution gives this power not to the speaker or the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, but to "The House," meaning the entire House.

How is the House pushing impeachment? Through a "secret" process rather than through a "due" process. Hearings are conveniently being held clandestinely, since, if the oxymoronic "House Intelligence" Committee holds hearings, everything can be covered under a blanket of "national security." The accusers call witnesses while the defense can only watch, unable to take notes or call their own witnesses, subpoena documents, receive transcripts of the proceedings, or anything else normally afforded the defense under the due process of American jurisprudence.

Chemicals used in plastic, soap, cosmetic and cleaning products are linked to lower IQs babies and children

There are 26 chemicals that disrupt hormones in first three months of pregnancy; Children whose mothers had higher exposure had lower IQ scores at age seven.

Blood and urine samples were taken from 718 mothers for the study in Sweden.

The chemicals tested for included bisphenol A (BPA), which is found in plastic food and drink containers, plus pesticides and phthalates, which is used to make plastics more flexible and harder to break.

BPA has long been linked to low sperm counts and infertility in men, as well as breast and prostate cancer, and is banned in Europe from use in baby’s bottles but not other products.

However, the new study found bisphenol F (BPF) – with which many manufacturers have voluntarily replaced BPA – appears to make the highest potential contribution to lowering children’s IQ and so may not be safer.

Webmaster's Commentary:

PLEASE,to all those out there who read WRH, who are thinking about becoming pregnant, and all the men who love them, go with the science here, and make sure before conception, to do your own " chemicalectomy" of what kinds of products you are bringing home, to insure that your child will develop all of its potentials well.

Car Bombs Rock Northern Syria After "Hundreds" Of ISIS Prisoners Escape

On Thursday a car bomb detonated in the town of Tal Abyad, wounding several Turkish-backed Syrian fighters outside their militia headquarters, following at least three other similar blasts this week, which targeted various groups fighting in northeast Syria.

The AP reports "There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing" and confirmed that "Similar bombings have taken place in the past in another enclave held for several years by Turkey and its Syrian allies on the northwest part of the border." Multiple civilian casualties have been reported in each case.

This sudden spate of mystery bomb attacks in heavily trafficked civilian areas suggests a resurgent ISIS could already be at work, after this month's Turkish invasion of Syrian Kurdish areas has resulted in mass ISIS prison breaks in the region.

The Harrowing Facts Of Chicago Homicide

Gang violence, drugs, poverty, and a poor educational system are endemic in certain areas, and the city’s Democratic leadership does not seem interested in addressing these issues. Of course, the primary issue in Chicago is arguably the outrageous homicide rate.

Most of the violence is related to gang activity. But Chicago is unique among similarly afflicted cities in that its gang violence problem is not just the result of poverty or cultural issues. One of the worst aspects of these homicides is that very few cases are solved, meaning most of the criminals responsible do not face justice.

Making it easier for people to be wary of communicating with the police is corruption. Many residents in Chicago, Baltimore, and other cities don’t trust law enforcement — and for good reasons. The Chicago Police Department (CPD) has had its share of corruption scandals, many of which don’t get much news coverage.

Ecuador moves government out of capital as violent protests rage

Ecuador’s president, Lenín Moreno, has said he has moved his government from the capital in Quito to the coastal city of Guayaquil amid violent protests over the end of fuel subsidies.

Images from Quito showed protesters hurling petrol bombs and stones, ransacking and vandalising public buildings as well as clashing with the police in running battles late into the night.

“[This] is not a protest of social dissatisfaction faced with a government decision but the looting, vandalism and violence show there is an organised political motive to destabilise the government,” Moreno said in televised address on Monday, flanked by the vice-president, defence minister and military top brass.

Moreno, 66, who has moved away from the leftwing policies of his predecessor and one-time mentor Rafael Correa, has said he will neither tolerate disorder nor overturn the scrapping of fuel subsidies as part of a package of austerity measures.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In this current round of Ecuadorian violence, I am very strongly reminded of an incredible quote by President Kennedy; "if peaceful revolution is impossible, violent revolution is inevitable."

GOOGLE COULD USE INTERNAL SURVEILLANCE TOOL TO MONITOR WORKER DISSENT AND LABOR ORGANIZING, EMPLOYEES WARN

SOURCE: BOING BOING
Workers at Google say the company is developing an internal surveillance system that could be used to monitor the behavior of employees, and thwart dissent and labor organizing.

The company says they’re only trying to make it easier for workers to manage their internal Google calendars and manage meeting spam.

The allegation underscores tensions between employees and Google leadership, reports Ryan Gallagher at Bloomberg News:

Google employees are accusing the company’s leadership of developing an internal surveillance tool that they believe will be used to monitor workers’ attempts to organize protests and discuss labor rights.

Webmaster's Commentary:

WHITEWASHING NEOLIBERAL REPRESSION IN CHILE AND ECUADOR

SOURCE: FAIR.ORG
Throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, people are rising up against right-wing, US-backed governments and their neoliberal austerity policies.

Currently in Chile, the government of billionaire Sebastian Piñera has deployed the army to crush nationwide demonstrations against inequality sparked by a subway fare hike.

In Ecuador, indigenous peoples, workers and students recently brought the country to a standstill during 11 days of protests against the gutting of fuel subsidies by President Lenin Moreno as part of an IMF austerity package.

One might expect these popular rebellions to receive unreservedly sympathetic coverage from international media that claim to be on the side of democracy and the common people. On the contrary, corporate journalists frequently describe these uprisings as dangerous alterations of “law and order,” laden with “violence,” “chaos” and “unrest.”

With an image of himself on a screen in the background, Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg testifies before the House Financial Services Committee in the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill October 23, 2019 in Washington, DC. Zuckerberg testified about Facebook's proposed cryptocurrency Libra, how his company will handle false and misleading information by political leaders during the 2020 campaign and how it handles its users’ data and privacy. House Democrats challenged Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on a number of issues Wednesday at a hearing focused primarily on the company's efforts to develop cryptocurrency—putting the social media executive on the defensive regarding Facebook's position on the limits of free speech in political advertising, its labor practices, and critics' claims that the company supports housing discrimination.

FACE-SCANNING AI HIRES BASED ON YOUR FACIAL MOVEMENTS, WORDS AND VOICE

SOURCE: DAILYMAIL.CO.UK

Your resume may not be the only deciding factor in landing your next job – it could be an 'employability score' created by artificial intelligence that has the final vote.

More than 100 big name firms are using HireVue's AI-driven assessment, which is technology that ranks candidates based on their facial movements, choice of words and speaking voice.

Although employers can pursue any candidate, some have told The Washington Post that they usually focus on those the computer system liked best -- leading some experts to question how bias the process may be.

HireVue's technology is employed by many large name companies such as Hilton Hotels, Unilever and Goldman Sachs, according to The Washington Post.

Webmaster's Commentary:

HireVue could well be contributing to some really bad luck for some of us who don't come off as both beautiful, and clever; I certainly would get a "pass" on most valuations it considers critical for a hiring reference.

IRAQI DEFENSE MINISTER GIVES US TROOPS 4 WEEKS TO LEAVE IRAQ

SOURCE: NY POST
US troops withdrawing from northeastern Syria to Iraq are “transiting” and will leave the country within four weeks, Iraq’s defense minister said Wednesday.

Najah al-Shammari made the remarks to the Associated Press following a meeting in Baghdad with visiting US Defense Secretary Mark Esper, who arrived as Iraqi leaders chafed over reports the US may want to increase the number of troops based in Iraq, at least temporarily.

Iraq’s military said Tuesday that American troops leaving northeastern Syria don’t have permission to stay in Iraq in a statement that appeared to contradict Esper, who has said all US troops leaving Syria would continue to conduct operations against the Islamic State group from Iraq to prevent its resurgence in the region.

He later added that the troops would be there temporarily until they are able to go home, but no time period has been set.

Webmaster's Commentary:

US Defense Secretary Mark Esper, a word, please; the gentleman with whom you should be negotiating, and right the heck now, is Muktada Al Sadr, the Iranian cleric who gave the US the ultimatum that they had to leave the moment the Original SOFA with Iraq said they should, otherwise, they would all be "fair targets" for his Mahdi Army.

Without his word on any kind of promise regarding how long US service members can actually stay in Iraq, you are just ...wasting time, and the US taxpayer's money.

I would politely like to remind you that Al Sadr is one of the most powerful men in Iraq with utterly no title or governmental job whatsoever, but it is his coalition which rules Iraq at this time.

Please remember that, in your coming negotiations, this is the only guy whose opinion really counts in Iraq.

ONLY COWARDS AND SADISTS SUPPORT THE PERSECUTION OF ASSANGE

SOURCE: CAITLIN JOHNSTONE

Former British ambassador Craig Murray has published a very disturbing account of Julian Assange’s court appearance yesterday which I recommend reading in full. There have been many reports published about Assange’s case management hearing, but the combination of Murray’s prior experience with torture victims, his familiarity with British courts, his friendship with Assange, and his lack of reverence for western power structures allowed for a much more penetrating insight into what happened than anyone else has been able to provide so far.

Here is a small excerpt:

Before I get on to the blatant lack of fair process, the first thing I must note was Julian’s condition. I was badly shocked by just how much weight my friend has lost, by the speed his hair has receded and by the appearance of premature and vastly accelerated ageing. He has a pronounced limp I have never seen before. Since his arrest he has lost over 15 kg in weight.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Learned helplessness", is a form of torture developed by CIA psychological consultants, and has been used extensively in places like Gitmo; and Abu Ghraib.

I am quite certain that some of our British counterparts have at least "observed" these procedures done by the Yanks; and perhaps other sub-contractors have been hired, particularly if # 10 Downing Street, wanted "culpable deniability" in terms of not wanting to be duly accused of ordering this series of hits to Assange's body, and mind.

That being said, what has been done to Assange is morally, and legally, outrageous.

I would not be surprised if the man dies of some weaponised disease long before he stands trial for standing up for the truth, and embarrassing the hell out of the US government.

It’s now child abuse in America to try to save your child from being chemically castrated by a “woke” parent

They say that everything is bigger in Texas, and this apparently includes court decisions that completely obliterate parental rights and force innocent children to undergo LGBTQ sex changes.

This is what happened just a few days ago in Dallas after a jury decided to separate a seven-year-old boy from his biological father, and place the child into the sole custody of his non-biological “mother” who admittedly wants to forcibly “transition” the boy into a “girl” using puberty blockers and cross-sex hormone drugs.

A YEAR AFTER KHASHOGGI MURDER, 'ALL IS FORGIVEN' AS WALL STREET FLOCKS TO MBS' "DAVOS IN THE DESERT"

SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE
When last year Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MbS) hosted his second annual Future Investment Initiative, he was under international condemnation and scrutiny, and his invitation for major investment in modernizing the kingdom was immediately branded with pariah-status by global elites, given the event dubbed "Davos in the Desert" awkwardly came a mere three weeks after the Oct. 2, 2018 murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the consulate in Istanbul.

A year later we now know more about the Saudi state-sanctioned murder, with comprehensive investigative reports by the UN and CIA pointing the finger directly at MbS for ordering the grizzly hit and dismemberment, and though last year's "Davos in the Desert" was boycotted by a number of high profile companies and CEOs, this year's MbS-hosted investment forum in Riyadh appears business as usual once again, a mere one short year later.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is not only for Kashoggi and the family and friends who still grieve for his loss; it is also for every Yemeni child; woman; and man who has been cut down far before their time, in this US government-aided and abetted, ongoing slaughter in Yemen.

Most of you do not like the pictures I put up, when I mention the war against the Yemeni people; but only by continuing to tell the truth, in the best manner I can, will, hopefully, enhance the causes of peace and Justice in this war-ravaged part of the world.

Warning; these images may cause you to lose your lunch, but it is imperative that the citizens of this country have a civil conversation about how much these strikes in Yemen are "protecting American's way of life". Do these kids have to sicken and die, please, for that to happen?!?

Images:
Yemeni kids killed or severely crippled by US-assisted Saudi Air Strikes

2. Images: children suffering massive deformities due to Saudi use of depleted uranium in Yemen. That picture of that tiny, failing infant on the exam table, says it all; I so want to reach through that computer screen, hold them in my arms, and comfort them, for at least a couple of moments; but of course, the one thing that the people of this country have a really difficult time comprehending that their government has been consorting with war criminals, which makes this country's population war criminals as well. So, what are we going to do about it, keep ignoring this?!?

Images; Yemeni children dying of starvation because no food can get into the country

Images: Yemeni children dying of cholera, because the Saudi/US forces have destroyed the water infrastructure

I cannot, and will not, turn away from these images; these children are NOT collateral damage, but kids who need healthy food and water; an education; loving parents; and an opportunity to fulfill whatever they can do successfully.

Please, share this article with your friends and neighbors, and please, not on line; all this information will be deplatformed immediately by those forces for evil/profit, who want to see the slaughter in Yemen continue, as that means big bucks for their stock portfolios in the MIC (Military industrial Complex) with which they are making a killing, literally and figuratively.

From Planet Earth to Middle Earth the Ring of Power WILL GO INTO THE FIRE.

What I am telling you here, which is the truth, is that the humanity in humanity, worldwide, is a Saving Grace. These are the people who work in the stores and offices you visit. They pass you in the streets. They fix your car and they sell you your car. They attend those sporting events you go to, the concerts and movies. They are your neighbors and they are all HUMAN BEINGS and it is NOT the way that the social influencers and manipulators tell you with their, “If it bleeds it leads.” You get from people what you invest in them and Love overpowers everything, PERIOD.

In the Lord of the Rings, there was that final battle on the Fields of Cormallen. It was called the Battle of the Morannon. The army of The West was greatly outnumbered. Many might have felt they were marching into certain death.

Big Pharma scam: Researchers use A.I. to “detect symptoms” of anxiety and depression; Algorithms to push psych drugs onto children to maximize pharma profits

Recently published research promises to use AI (artificial intelligence) to detect signs of depression and anxiety in kids. The mainstream media has been quick to herald these efforts as a hail-Mary for young children with mental health issues that often go unnoticed. But what the media neglects to mention is the fact that this technology is ripe for abuse by Big Pharma.

Millions of young children are already prescribed Big Pharma’s psych drugs, but the industry is bent on making sure every man, woman and child is on at least one type of pharmaceutical. Now, the pharma-medical industrial complex is teaming up to ensure no stone is left unturned — and no child is left un-drugged.

Tulsi Gabbard on Abortion: Abortion should remain legal and accessible

Gabbard believes that abortion should remain legal and accessible.
She voted against a proposed ban on abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Ban discrimination based on sexual preference, identity.
Gabbard has changed her position since she entered politics at age 21.
She was initially anti-abortion, or opposed to increased abortion access.

Ban anti-abortion limitations on abortion services.Gabbard co-sponsored Women's Health Protection Act

She is all over the place. A waffle. See the pattern yet?

LGBTQ Statement by Tulsi Gabbard

She was anti LGBTQ and now she is pro. There is a pattern here folks!

Aloha.

In my past I said and believed things that were wrong, and worse, hurtful to people in the LGBTQ+ community and their loved ones.

Many years ago, I apologized for my words and, more importantly, for the negative impact that they had. I sincerely repeat my apology today. I’m deeply sorry for having said them. My views have changed significantly since then, and my record in Congress over the last 6 years reflects what is in my heart: A strong and ongoing commitment to fighting for LGBTQ+ rights.

Tulsi has a consistent record of advocating for sensible gun control.

Tulsi has a consistent record of advocating for sensible gun control. She has long called for reinstating a federal ban on military-style assault weapons and high capacity magazines, requiring comprehensive pre-purchase background checks, closing the gun-show loophole, and making sure that terrorists are not allowed to buy guns. Tulsi has an F-rating from the NRA, a 0% rating by the Hawaii Rifle Association, and a 100% rating by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. She is focused on building bipartisan solutions that can actually be passed into law, rather than using the issue as a partisan political football.

She is a feminist. She is in favor of illegal immigration. Believes in so-called climate change. And she supports Israel. She is in favor of almost everything that is destroying America! She is a dyed in the wool socialist!
By the way Evan Duke has been indicted in Portland for rioting among other things. 2 felonies and one misdemeanor.

It begins: The Left has successfully criminalized speech, resulting in arrests, fines, and maybe even jail time for merely saying the wrong words

According to PJ Media, a pair of UConn students were recently arrested for shouting racial slurs outside a dormitory.

Yes, we know. Racial epithets and slurs aren’t very nice things to be saying, much less shouting. But the Constitution’s First Amendment specifically protects speech that isn’t threatening or calling for criminal activity or violence against another person.

Our founders knew that not all speech would be welcomed by all Americans all the time. But they also understood that all speech should be protected all the time because that’s the mark of a truly free country, where individual liberty is cherished more than hurting someone’s feelings.

That is, until now:

Texas jury rules in favor of chemical castration of 7-year-old boy whose mother wants to “transition” him into a girl… father forced to take “tolerance” classes

A jury in Dallas, Texas, has decided that a seven-year-old boy will be restricted from further seeing his loving biological father, and instead be placed into the sole custody of Dr. Anne Georgulas, a woman to whom the child is not even biologically related who’s planning to forcibly convert him into a “girl” using puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

In a shocking 11-1 decision, Texas jurors decided that Jeffrey Younger, the father of seven-year-old James, will not be granted his request for Sole Managing Conservatorship over both James and his twin brother, Jude. Instead, they decided to grant that Sole Managing Conservatorship to Dr. Georgulas, whom we’ve previously reported appears to be suffering from a mental disease known as Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

How Much Oil Is At Stake In Syria?

Though it's as yet uncertain whether the Pentagon is actually going to execute the plan, Trump is mulling keeping a small US troop contingency in Syria in order to "secure the oil".

The president said at a cabinet meeting Monday: “I always said if you’re going in, keep the oil,” the WSJ reported. “We’ll work something out with the Kurds so that they have some money, so that they have some cash flow. Maybe we’ll get one of our big oil companies to go in and do it properly.”

In response, former special presidential anti-ISIL envoy Brett McGurk, who served under both the Obama and Trump administrations, stated the obvious: “Oil, like it or not, is owned by the Syrian state,” he said Monday. “Maybe there are new lawyers, but it was just illegal for an American company to go and seize and exploit these assets."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Once this country has started down the road of no boundaries whatsoever, it sincerely risks becoming a kelptocracy, which in so many many ways, the Unhinged Surveilled State of Amerika has become.

The natural inclination of our Deep State Leadership, is to proclaim, in a hubristic fashion, its "Pax Amerikana" upon all countries in the world, declaring that somehow, the US government, by its fiat and "divine right", can make it completely OK for the US to expropriate resources to which it has utterly no moral right, and sell those resources only to those who pay in American dollars.

But there is something stirring in the winds; and those are the winds of palpable unrest, in nations which are being strangled by US foreign policy, or the dollar dictatorship and hideous austerity programs of the IMS (most of IMF members know i a "collection context" via taxes, which has nothing to do with their brilliantly Cartier-encrusted lifestyles).

We are very close to an actual breaking point, where the US will not have enough military support, or weapons, to put down popular uprisings which are happening so many places on this planet.

And unfortunately, this kind of unrest could also come to the US in short-term fashion; the huge agricultural swaths of land in this country have become both unplantable, and unharvestable, due to massive floods, in terms of our once-held glory as a "breadbasket to the world".

Food will become much more expensive, even for the very basics, and some people in this country may - literally - starve to death.

I would therefore suggest very politely that perhaps the turn of gaze inward,, at America's own difficulties and concerns, would be a far more fruitful enterprise for this government.

How are your going to feed those food insecure this fall, Mr. President?!? Will Syrian oil be that big a deal when this country starts to have riots over food, and in massive ways?!?

Physically, Mentally Frail Assange Suffers "Vicious Travesty Of Justice" In Latest Court Appearance

Authored by Craig Murray,

I was deeply shaken while witnessing yesterday’s events in Westminster Magistrates Court. Every decision was railroaded through over the scarcely heard arguments and objections of Assange’s legal team, by a magistrate who barely pretended to be listening.

"Learned Helplessness"; wasn't this taught to the alleged interrogators for the "grand inquisitions" at Gitmo and Abu Ghraib, simply to get the tortured to commit through confessions, things they had never actually done?!?

And have these practices not also been defined as "war crimes"?!?

And THIS... from the country which gave the world the Magna Carta?!?

To Queen Elizabeth II; Your Majesty, this ... is by far, magnitudes worse than any behaviour in which your extended family may, or may not, possibly have participated; and I suggest that your turn your gaze elsewhere.

And I would, as someone with a very British heritage (the names of Rawson and Yarbrough are names in my Mom's side of the family) very politely summon the heads of MI5 and MI6 to Buckingham palace, to explain to you, the titular royal head of a country which, theoretically, believes in Freedom of Expression, just what the HELL they have done with Assange, and when can you, and the country, please, expect this to stop?!?

The application of torture to a person who amounts to a political prisoner, I believe is not legal in the UK, right?!?

IF in fact Craig Murray is correct in his assessment, it appears that the UK has been complicit in war crimes; one does not know about the range of psychological torture Assange has endured; but right now, I would almost be willing to bet it has been chemical as well. He might be quietly pronounced as having cancer, and assassinated to insure he can never stand trial in the US.

Trump: US May Have to Go to War With Iran Soon

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Monday, President Trump bragged about his efforts to try to get the US “out of wars,” then warned that “we may have to get in wars, too. OK?“

Trump continued on talking about how ready the US is for a war with Iran, and how Iran will get hit “like they’ve never been hit before.” The implication is clear that Trump is nominally ending wars, but that America’s hawks will get fresh, new wars to replace them.

That’s likely a rather cynical political ploy, given how much political heat the administration is under for appearing to almost end the Syrian War. That war may not be ending, but offering to trade it for a much bigger Iran War would probably placate many critics.

It’s likely also related to Trump’s interest in portraying himself as generally tough and the best at war. That, and his fondness for threatening Iran with unprecedented horrors seem destined to keep threatening an Iran War forever a possibility.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(sigh) Mr. President, a word, please; you appear to be ready to bring this war-weary, and war-skeptical country into yet more and more geopolitical confrontations, for which you have absolutely zero actionable evidence .

The issue of Iran is, indeed, a very complicated issue; but attempting to "just do it", i.e., go to war against it, to appease your biggest supporters, the Israeli Government; Bibi Netanyahu; the US Deep State, and Sheldon Adelson, many well have far more, potentially devastating consequences for this country than you can possibly imagine at this point in time.

I see you surrounding yourself with "yes people", when what you need is a dedicated Department of Peace, to give you alternative possible actions from which you can choose to get what the the US government wants to see happen.

As Putin did with Syria, should the US government attack Iran, you may well see Russian Troops and equipment, available to Iranian troops, as a supplement; Iran and Russia conscript, and lately, Russian defensive systems have been proven to very possibly eclipse whatever the US, at this point in its weaponry development, can do (if not light-years ahead of us, but I digress).

Mr. President, I would like to politely but firmly suggest that you pay maximum attention to the following, and because this is serious business, and affects everyone who lives here.

New Flood Dangers in South/
central US Face Slow Grind of Recovery

2019:
Midwestern US Floods

Grain Supplies Likely hit if Farmers Turn to Payouts

The Hidden Catastrophe of the Midwest's Floods

Persistent Wet Weather interferes with Midwest Farmers' Planting

Bad Weather and Trade Wars Complicate Planting for Midwest Farmers

The Bottom Line here, Mr. President; we may have problems with food insecurity right here in this country, and the prices are going to rise substantially because of this, for whatever food is available.

This will not interfere with the lifestyles of your very rich friends; but we have a huge number of people who are already marginalized, and this is going to be one lousy winter.

So the question is, rather than try to kill off a governmental system in the Middle East, perhaps now is the time to mobilize the USDA, social media, and teach people with very small resources how to slow cook, and make the best of their resources by teaching them how to preserve food.

Please remember; a population which is having difficulty feeding their families, are not going to vote for the people who were in charge of that economy which failed them with a basic human need, that... of sustenance.

Project MK Ultra or The CIA Mind Control Program?

If conspiracy theories are to be believed, the Government is evil and intelligence agencies are always keeping an eye on you. There are tales about human experimentation, mind control and torture but people dismiss these ideas to a large extent. Sometimes, however, there is a lot more to them than just baseless rumors. Project MKUltra or the CIA Mind Control Program is one of these examples which show that real life can be stranger than fiction.

HILLARY CLINTON CANCELS APPEARANCE AT EVENT WHERE TULSI GABBARD IS SPEAKING

Hillary Clinton cancelled her appearance at an upcoming event where Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is set to speak.

Clinton was set to give a talk at the 2019 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, but subsequently claimed a “scheduling conflict” would prevent her from doing so.

A source close to Clinton told Slate that Hillary dropped out because Kirstjen Nielsen, the former secretary of Homeland Security, is also scheduled to speak at the event.

However, some speculate that the real reason Hillary got cold feet is because Tulsi Gabbard will be attending.

Last week, Clinton claimed that Russia was “grooming” a female Democratic candidate to be a spoiler, clearly referring to Gabbard.

Secret NATO Military Exercises in Germany Drill Nuclear War Scenario – Report

The reported war games are being held a few months after the collapse of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty between Russia and the US, which was prompted by Washington’s move to withdraw from the accord on 2 August.

NATO allies are holding secret military exercises in Germany, which aim to drill a nuclear war scenario, the German newspaper Kronen Zeitung reports.

During the drills, codenamed “Steadfast Noon”, the military personnel utilise warplanes which could be equipped with nuclear weapons in the event of a war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why in the name of heaven are the US political classes planning Armageddon for the rest of us, who do not have "panic bunkers", rather than attempting to ratchet down tensions with Russia, which could mean peace and prosperity for a lot of people around the world?!?

Because, in a few words, we are completely expendable to them, other than as cannon fodder.

Russia understands what happens when war is on their doorstep; most Americans have absolutely zero connection with the American Civil War, so their only connection to war are the "sanitized" bits of footage and soundbites they get from their television, if it ever gets discussed by the talking head/Corporatistas at all.

And for me, all wars represent "a catastrophic failure of imagination" when other modalities for conflict resolution are not employed.

Getting Out Of Foreign Wars: Next Up, Ukraine?

Authored by Doug Bandow via The American Conservative blog,

Recently Ukraine has been thrown into the spotlight as Democrats gear up to impeach President Donald Trump. More important, though, is its role in damaging America’s relations with Russia, which has resulted in a mini-Cold War that the U.S. needs to end.

In 2014, Washington and European governments backed a street putsch against the elected, though highly corrupt, pro-Russian president, Viktor Yanukovych. The Putin government responded by annexing Crimea and backing separatist forces in Eastern Ukraine’s Donbass region. Washington and Brussels imposed economic sanctions on Russia and provided military aid to Kiev.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Annexing Crimea"?!? Sir, let's stop with the codswallop, because it has become far too much to swallow. And President Obama admitted to the US role in this Ukrainian putsch during a televised interview:

Obama admists that the US government brokered a deal in support of Regime Change in Ukraine

Apparently, you have utterly no grasp of what really happened, after Poroshenko was "anointed" as Ukraine's geopolitical "saviour" in 2014.

The people in Crimea knew that there would be no decency, or real representation in government coming out of Kiev (you do know what country of which the city is capital, don't you?!?) forthcoming for a long time to come. So this is what the people of Crimea did:

1. In a fair and honest referendum, the Crimean government asked its people if it wanted to stay with Ukraine, or leave it, after the "election" to install Poroshenko. Overwhelmingly, Crimea voted to leave Ukraine, and request that the Russian Federation allow Crimea to return to as a member of the Russian Federation.

2. Here is the BBC article on this; had you actually done your homework, and researched this intelligently (which you obviously did not), you would have realized that this was a documented referendum, and a documented return to Russia as a choice by the Crimean people

And I would like to add here, that "peaceful self-determination" is one of the most critically important portions of the UN charter, to which both Russia and the US are also a signatory./ Crimea referendum: Voters 'back Russia union' Russia then accepted them as full members of the Russian Federation; there was no "annexation" whatsoever, period, end of discussion.

China's $3.6 Billion Bailout Insulates Turkey From US

Authored by 'Spengler' via The Asia Times,

Beijing’s biggest support package ever for President Erdogan arrives at a critical time...

Despite the US threat to “obliterate and destroy” Turkey’s economy, the Turkish lira and Turkish interest rates barely have budged in the past week (Turkish stocks, especially banks, are down sharply, in part due to the US criminal charges against Halkbank for aiding Iran sanctions violations). That is remarkable given the fragility of Turkey’s currency earlier in 2019. Between February and May, the Turkish lira fell from 5.2 to the US dollar to 6.2 in response to US sanctions, before recovering to 5.88 to the dollar today. The Turkish central bank leaned on Turkish banks to refrain from offering liquidity to short-sellers, but Turkish money markets remained orderly.

Webmaster's Commentary:

China makes deals; the US threatens with wars and impossible to maintain sanctions.

What's wrong with this picture?!? Damned near everything.

Winners and Losers in the Turkish Attack on Syria. Russia is the Most Successful Player

Russia imposed the Astana process instead of Geneva for peace talks, it offered countries to use their local currencies for commerce rather than the dollar, and it is dealing pragmatically with Iran and Saudi Arabia, and with Assad and Erdogan. The Americans, by their recklessness, showed themselves incapable of diplomacy.

Moscow mediated between the Syrian Kurds and the central government in Damascus even when these had been under US control for years. Putin behaved wisely with Israel even when he accused Tel Aviv of provoking the killing of his officers, and stayed relatively neutral in relation to the Iran-Israel struggle.

On the other hand, Tel Aviv never thought Syria would be reunited. Today Damascus has armed drones, precision and cruise missiles from Iran, supersonic anti-ship Russian missiles- and has survived the destruction of its infrastructure and so many years of war.

US Military Unlikely To Withdraw From Syria's Key Oil Fields: Report

Via AlmasdarNews.com,

The U.S. Armed Forces are not withdrawing from the eastern Euphrates River Valley region of Deir Ezzor or its plethora of oil fields, a military source in Damascus told Al-Masdar News.

According to the source, the U.S. Armed Forces won’t withdraw from these areas because of Iran’s presence in eastern Syria and the reality that Damascus would again have access to Deir Ezzor’s vital oil fields.

He would add the United States' two largest military bases in Syria are in the east near some of the country’s largest oil fields like Al-Omar.

Damascus has wanted the Al-Omar and Conoco oil fields to be returned to their government; however, with the U.S.’ large military presence in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, they have found themselves blocked from these critical petrol supplies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, the US government and military believes they are going to occupy Syria's oil fields forever?!?

How many have actually been withdrawn, or will withdraw from Syria, ahead of a major Turkish onslaught ?!? Were I a betting person, I would say, darned few.

State Department Concludes Clinton Email Review, Says It Found Nearly 600 Security Violations

State Department investigators probing Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state discovered nearly 600 security incidents that violated agency policy, according to a report the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained.

The investigation, conducted by the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security, found 38 individuals were culpable for 91 security violations. Another 497 violations were found, but no individuals were found culpable in those incidents.

The investigation concluded Sept. 6, and the report was issued Sept. 13.

The investigation sought to determine if the exchange of emails on Clinton’s server “represented failure to properly safeguard classified information” and whether any individuals at State were culpable for any of the failures. (RELATED: State Department Reboots Hillary Clinton Email Probe)

"NO PERSUASIVE EVIDENCE...." MY ASTROLABE!!

This "alleged" inquiry was stage managed from the get-go, and a desired conclusion was reached in precisely the way the Clintonistas wanted it to be reached, which translated as absolutely no charges could, or would, be levelled against her.

Southwest Pilots Slam Boeing "Fraud... Put Flying Public At Risk"

Update (1415ET): Boeing shares have accelerated lower as more details of the 'smoking gun' messages comes out.

A Boeing test pilot complained in one of the messages that a flight control system, known as MCAS, was difficult to control, according to the messages, obtained by NBC News.

“It’s running rampant in the sim on me”, the pilot, Mark Forkner, Boeing’s former chief technical pilot, said in 2016 to a colleague, referring to the simulator, according to the transcript. “Granted, I suck at flying, but even this was egregious.”

His colleague replied that they would have to update the description of the system.

“So I basically lied to regulators (unknowingly),” read Forkner’s reply. Forkner did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

And now Southwest Pilots Union has come out swinging, confirming that Mark Forkner is a Southwest aviator and blasting Boeing for "misleading" the FAA, saying that Boeing's "fraud" put "the flying public at risk."

Webmaster's Commentary:

When the "bottom line" of a company trump's the travelling public's' safety, this is the moment when the CEOS who signed off on not getting this flaw reversed need to be tried; convicted; and sentenced to hard time at a NOT Club Fed.

Welcome To The USSR: The United States Of Suppression And Repression

Authored by Charles Hugh Smith via OfTwoMinds blog,

We're all against "fake news," right? Until your content is deemed "fake news" in a "fake news" indictment without any evidence, trial or recourse.

As for housing costs, former Soviet apparatchiks must be high-fiving the Federal agencies for their inventive confusion of reality with magical made-up "statistics." To estimate housing costs, the federal agency in charge of ginning up a low inflation number asks homeowners to guess what their house would rent for, were it being rented--what's known as equivalent rent.

Complicated Web Of Payments Behind Hunter Biden's $700K Ukraine, China Dealings Untangled

For months it has been reported, here and elsewhere, that Hunter Biden 'made $50,000 per month sitting on the board Ukrainian gas giant Burisma.'

The truth behind payments to Biden is much more complicated, as revealed by the Daily Caller's Andrew Kerr who reviewed bank records submitted in an unrelated criminal case involving Biden's friend and business partner, Devon Archer in which Archer was found guilty of defrauding an American Indian Tribe (a conviction which was later overturned).

So - Burisma did not directly pay Hunter, although the firm's chairman, Alan Apter told the Wall Street Journal in 2014 that Biden (and Archer) would receive a salary for their independent directorship.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Oh, those privileges which accompany nepotism are things most most of us working folks would never dream of doing, even in our wildest imaginations!!

Use threatened financial geopolitical blackmail to get a top Ukrainian prosecutor fired for his "crime" of starting to lead an investigation into Burisma, where Hunter Biden was one of their executives on the board?!?

NO PROBLEM!!

And Tom Perez and his minions really believe that former Vice-President Biden is a "good call" for a Democratic nominee for President of the United States and leader of the "allegedly" Free World?!?

Tom, Tom, Tom, please, for God's sake; can't someone from your office talk to Biden about how he needs to stand down, and "spend more time with his family"?!?

I mean, isn't that the standard line trotted out every time a politician has actually been compromised with just a little more than a "hint of taint" concerning how they have used their privilege?!?!?

I mean, Biden actually bragged about it, right?!?

Video: Biden brags that he got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired, for one billion dollars in US aid

Now Tom, unless you, and your candidates' handlers are absolutely of one mind in the opinion that all US voters are victims of Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, or/and SMDD (severe memory deficit disorder), and you let this guy run as your Presidential Candidate, you know precisely what Republicans are going to do; they are going to run this video again; and again; and again; so that even the most simple-minded of voters will "get it".

And the "IT" to which I refer, is the reality Biden is one of the worst "con jobs" to have ever taken the Oath of Office as Vice-President, and is willing to do ANYTHING to keep himself, and his family "rolling in influence" (like attempted financial blackmail of a foreign government) to enable them to continue "rolling in the dough".

There is a "V" word that you and the DNC need to heavily contemplate before this next campaign cycle; that word is "Values", Tom.

And when we have a party which desperately tried to impeach President Trump even before he was sworn in, with Russiagate; and now the phone call regarding "Ukrainegate"; and is exploring ways to get him out of office before the next election, using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution before the November 2020 election, what are you saying about Democratic Party Values to the rank-and-file voter with these actions?!?

The short answer is, the Democratic Party has no values at all, except "winning" at all costs, with no moral considerations concerning their actions will do to this country whatsoever.

Is this the way you, and the current configuration of the DNC, really want to be judged by history, Tom?!?

I'm just saying.... please think about it.

Military Police Deployed As 500,000 Catalan Independence Protesters Shut Down Barcelona

Central Barcelona has reportedly been paralyzed as mass protests which international reports estimate to number over a half-million people are driven by outrage at harsh prison sentences for pro-independence leaders handed down by the top Spanish court.

Protest leaders are vowing "the streets will be ours" as they push for Catalan independence, and as riot police have begun clashing with stone-throwing activists, who are also in some places of the city setting makeshift roadblocks ablaze.

With night fall, reporters on the ground are describing what's beginning to resemble a war zone, with increasing violence against police, as also both far-left and far-right agitators are said to be infiltrating the crowd and engaged in increasing violence and vandalism.

The turmoil began Monday after Spain’s Supreme Court handed out extreme prison sentences to nine politicians who spearheaded the referendum on Catalonia’s independence in 2017.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think that the current government of Spain.... may just have extincted itself, in the way these sentences were carried out for simply spearheading the referendum on Catalonia's independence.

I understand that a "snap election" is to be held this year on 10 November;
Spain to hold fourth election in four years on Nov. 10

I would be phenomenally surprised, if those elements in the current Spanish government which wanted those sentences as "intense punishment" for the perpetrators, get voted back into office.

America's Road Map To $40 Trillion National Debt By 2028

Watch out! At this very moment, professional economists of all stripes are making plans on your behalf. They’re dreaming and scheming new and innovative ways to spend your money long before you’ve earned it.

While you’re busy at the gristmill, grinding away for clients and customers, claims are being laid upon your life. Your future earnings are being directed to boondoggles galore. Yet these claims are in addition to everything Washington’s already signed you up for.

The reality is the growth of federal debt has been out of control for decades. The solution that’s always repeated for reeling this back is that, somehow, the economy will grow its way out of it. This has yet to transpire despite a variety of policies over the years that have generally involved borrowing money from the future and spending it today.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sorry, but the way many of these "Econonozillas" think, just scares the stuffing right out of me, and has me wondering, very seriously, if they have ever had to balance a checking account.

Why, in the name of heaven, is it terrible for a person, or a family, to be in horrific debt, but it is perfectly acceptable for a government to do so, for these folks?!?

Sorry, but "Don't fret about the Debt" is yet more "magical thinking", which will ultimately assist in putting this country right down the economic commode, with one gigantic flush.

The Chaos Of Baltimore Explained, How The Descent Into Hell Continues

By now, you should already know that Baltimore City is imploding on itself. The housing market has stalled, millennials are trapped in overpriced rowhomes, and widespread violent crime has taken over the region.

The deteriorating situation in Baltimore is nothing new. It started in the late 1950s when deindustrialization began, and white flight of the 1960s/70s/80s sent hundreds of thousands of Baltimoreans packing their bags for the suburbs. From the late 1950s to let's say today, the city's population has collapsed from 960,000 to around 600,000.

The city is a hollow out shell of something that was great, and also is an accurate depiction of our country at the moment.

Violent crime in the city spiked during the 1980s and surged even more during the crack epidemic of the 1990s. But a revival was in the making by the mid-2000s (violent crime dipped and a housing boom began), it was the millennials, who picked up the broken baton and wanted to revive Baltimore.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is a story which pairs nicely with what exists above, from August of this year, and may, potentially, carry some hope for this embattled city:

Baltimore hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since the 1960s. Meet the people trying to change that.

Economists: Greta Thunberg's Ideal World Would Result In A "Human Tragedy Of Disastrous Proportions"

Whether you were inspired by Greta Thunberg's tearful UN speech...

.... or merely thought it was the year's greatest meme, in which an indoctrinated, emotionally frail child is being preyed upon by adults with a far bigger and more lucrative agenda, you probably do not realize how much your everyday life could change if the world were to follow the advice of climate activists to attain Thunberg's ecological utopia.

To provide some perspective on that question, several economists spoke to RT to share their thoughts out how the proposed changes could affect the global economy and the daily lives of people around the world.

Fossil fuels

Webmaster's Commentary:

My late first cousin, who was a very smart guy, used to mention that if the US government really wanted to create an alternative fuel which was infinitely less polluting than fossil fuel, it could actually do so, and I think that in the future, this will be possible.

But there has to be a "will" before "a way" can be found to do this, and I would suggest melding the brightest scientific minds in both the university community and the corporate community, with generous grants, and scholarships, with benchmarks that had to be proven before a next round of experimentations could be done, would be an incredible way to go for accomplishing this.

"Duck, Duck, Doom" - When Big Pharma Decides Who Among Us Is Worthy Of Saving

"When a pharmaceutical company decides who among us is worthy, and who among us is not, we are no longer living in an ethical, moral society. We are playing duck, duck, doom. I pray no one dies."

These are the heart-felt words of Joanna, a 50-year-old Californian woman who faces death within a few short weeks if the drug that she takes to keep her alive is not released from FDA-sanctioned recall, and/or offered to patients by the drugmaker through a "special use" program (at the patients' risk).

The troubles began early last month when Japanese drug-maker Takeda Pharmaceutical pulled Natpara, which was
approved four years ago to treat hypoparathyroidism - a rare endocrine disorder that can lead to heart failure and death.

Takeda recalled the product after learning rubber particles may clog needles in multi-dose cartridges that deliver the solution. However, Takeda did not indicate why the rubber particles were suddenly appearing or how long the problem may last.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I wonder what would have happened, had the drug been of American manufacture, rather than Japanese in origin.

Would the FDA been content to just leave it on the shelves, as they did with the antacid Zantac, an OTC heartburn medication which recently, finally pulled from store shelves as potentially containing carcinogenic materials?!?
Zantac Heartburn Drug May Contain Carcinogen: FDA

And my question for the FDA would be, what was the lead time between making this discovery and pulling the medication off the shelves?!?

But with this nearly "orphan drug" getting pulled off the marketplace in the US, how many people, unable to use this on their own, even with sworn statements that they will hold the drug manufacturer harmless, should something bad happen, will die?!?
