Kiev Saves No One, Russia Protects Europe From Ukraine’s Barbarism – Maria Zakharova

Russia, is protecting Europe from the barbarism and militarism from Ukraine that are hanging over the whole continent, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on the statements of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko that Russia intends to seize Berdyansk and Mariupol.

“Former German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel gave an absolutely clear description of what is happening in Ukraine in an interview with the German TV channel N-TV: “I think that in no case should we allow Ukraine to draw us into the war. Ukraine tried to do it.” And after Poroshenko declared that “Russia allegedly intends to seize Mariupol and Berdyansk,” we can confidently say, paraphrasing his own saying: “it is Russia that protects Europe from “barbarism, tyranny, terrorism, aggression, militarism that have hung over our entire continent”, wrote Zakharova on her Facebook page.

VOX has won 12 seats in Spain’s most populous region, according to preliminary results where around 99 per cent of votes have been counted, Reuters reports.

In less than three years, VOX has risen from one percent to 11 percent and is now the third-largest party in the Andalusian province of Almería.

Theresa May Brexit advisor Olly Robbins admitted deal was ‘a BAD OUTCOME’ in secret letter

Mr Robbins, the Prime Minister’s Europe advisor, said the Brexit deal’s backstop proposal didn’t guarantee security cooperation with the EU. He claimed it would require some regulatory controls between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. The revelation of the warning, details of which were published in The Telegraph, will increase pressure on the Prime Minister to publish the Attorney General’s full legal advise on the deal.

Currently the Prime Minister is refusing to release the text in full but a later today there will be a cross-party attempt in Parliament to force publication.

In his letter to the Prime Minister, dated October 19, Mr Robbins warned: “We should not forget that the backstop is, even with a UK-EU customs union, a bad outcome.”

EU countries mass BOYCOTT of UN meeting making MIGRATION a HUMAN RIGHT

A NEW United Nations initiative to class migration as a HUMAN RIGHT is being boycotted by European Union (EU) member states, including Italy, France and Austria, who have all rejected the proposals in favour of tougher border controls.

This week’s unveiling of UN proposals for universal migrant rights is being treated with such suspicion that only Britain, Holland and Denmark have signed up unreservedly. The so-called UN Global Compact for Migration aims to set out universal rights and conditions for migrants – but one Member of the European Parliament has pointed out that of adopted then even the criticising of the very concept of migration would be considered a hate crime.

Israel's Gas Pipeline to Europe Too Punny and Too Expensive to Really Worry Gazprom

The planned capacity is much smaller than what Russia provides, besides, the demand in Europe is rising anyway. It’s being billed as a counter to both Arab and Russian power but that’s not really true. This will supposedly deliver 20 bcm annually to Cyprus, Greece and Italy and come at a significant cost because of the challenge of it. But the first train will be 10 bcm according to IGI Poseiden’s website, the company building the pipeline. 10 bcm is similar in size to the Southern Gas Corridor bringing gas in from Azerbaijan. The agreement has been some two years in the works, with the four countries’ energy czars signing a memorandum of understanding regarding the pipeline in December 2017. It is considered a technically difficult project to complete not only because of the depth of the undersea route, but also because it will have to pass through a volcanic area in the ocean bottom between Cyprus and Greece. No discussion of cost was in the announcement.

L'Antidiplomatico Interview: Andre Vltchek interviewed by Alessandro Bianchi

Italy is part of both EU and NATO. As I am writing in my new essay, it is a nonsense to believe that "Europeans are brainwashed; that they do not know what the West is doing all over the world". They know, or they at least suspect - most of them. But they pretend that they don't know. In Europe, there is a shadowy deal between the government, corporations and the people. People want more benefits, and they do not care that the benefits come from plundering the world. If they get their benefits, they shut up. If they think they are getting too little, they protest, like recently in Paris. But do they care if tens of millions of 'un-people' die for those benefits? Of course not! The same when it comes to Russia, China or Iran. Europeans in general and Italians in particular, know that there is some sort of vicious propaganda against those countries that refuse to yield to the Western diktat. But they will do nothing to stop it.

'This is the start of a revolution': Paris rioters steal police assault rifle, torch dozens of cars and vow to 'stay in the streets until Christmas' as fuel protests continue into the night and spread across France - and even to Holland

The centre of Paris was on lockdown tonight after masked protesters stole an assault rifle from police, clashed with riot squads and set fire to cars and Christmas trees on the Champs-Elysees in furious demonstrations against the French government.

Protesters said today's actions were 'the start of a revolution' that would eclipse the mass strikes and occupation of universities and factories in1968 when the country was on the cusp of civil war.

Fires and clouds of tear gas covered the French capital from early morning until late in the evening, in some of the worst violence ever seen in the French capital as more than 5,000 demonstrators brought chaos to Paris for the second week running.

Swedish Nurses Enroll in Self-Defence Classes After Rise in Violence

Swedish nurses who work in the emergency room of a hospital in Kalmar are taking self-defence classes due to a rise in violent incidents from patients.
The hospital has also taken active measures to increase the number of security guards stationed at the emergency room to better deal with situations before they escalate into violence, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

Andrea Berg, a nurse in the Kalmar hospital ER, is behind the initiative saying that she had even seen colleagues beaten by patients who she described as stressed due to factors including long wait times. Berg added that she had also seen a rise in violence outside of work saying, “As a woman, you are much more exposed.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope that other European countries are learning how deadly unfettered immigration is, and rather than criminalize any comments on what it has caused, start to deal with these crises we are seeking, intelligently and responsibly.

Otherwise, Europe... will be only a fleeting memory, in contrast to the horrific vile actions of those who would destroy the people who welcomed them into their country, and frequently into their homes.

Some now say that the cancelled Lucia celebration is a prelude to tone down Christmas to adapt to Islam.

Yes, the EU’s New #CopyrightDirective is All About Filters

By Cory Doctorow

When the EU started planning its new Copyright Directive (the “Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive”), a group of powerful entertainment industry lobbyists pushed a terrible idea: a mandate that all online platforms would have to create crowdsourced databases of “copyrighted materials” and then block users from posting anything that matched the contents of those databases.

At the time, we, along with academics and technologists explained why this would undermine the Internet, even as it would prove unworkable. The filters would be incredibly expensive to create, would erroneously block whole libraries worth of legitimate materials, allow libraries more worth of infringing materials to slip through, and would not be capable of sorting out “fair dealing” uses of copyrighted works from infringing ones...

Merkel Ally Suggests Blockading Russian Ships From All EU And US Ports

A close senior political ally of German Chancellor Angela Merkel told Reuters on Friday that the European Union and the United States should consider banning all Russian ships that originate from the Sea of Avoz from entering EU and US ports until last Sunday's Kerch Strait crisis is resolved.

German conservative Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, who is said to be most likely to succeed Merkel as leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party, told Reuters:

One answer might be, for example, to stop Russian ships coming from the region - from the Sea of ??Azov - from entering European or U.S. ports until this situation with Ukraine is resolved.

And turning her attention to US sanctions targeting Russia and Germany's less than eager willingness to go along, Reuters reports further:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but has Kram-Karrenbauer gone absolutely stark raving, gepolitically insane?!?

Blockades are considered an act of war, just in case her European history is a little fuzzy, which it appears to be.

Russia was precisely within its rights to capture and hold the invading Ukrainian boats, courtesy of maritime law. But that this woman is even THINKING about a blockade, makes me very concerned about her true mental health.

Poroshenko has been screaming about a potential "Russian Invasion" ever since he took office in 2014.

The Nuclear Lies of NATO’s Jens Stoltenberg. Brand New “Precision Guidance” Nukes Deployed All Over Europe

First: as from March 2020, the United States will begin to deploy in Italy, Germany, Belgium, and Holland (where B-61 nuclear bombs are already based), and probably also in other European countries, the first nuclear bomb with precision guidance in their arsenal, the B61-12. Its function is primarily anti-Russian. This new bomb is designed with penetrating capacity, enabling it to explode underground in order to destroy the central command bunkers with its first strike. How would the United States react if Russia deployed nuclear bombs in Mexico, right next to their territory? Since Italy and the other countries, violating the non-proliferation Treaty, are allowing the USA to use its bases, as well as its pilots and planes, for the deployment of nuclear weapons, Europe will be exposed to a greater risk as the first line of the growing confrontation with Russia.

A Savage ‘War To End All Wars,’ and a Failed Peace

Europe lost an entire generation, killed, maimed or forever psychologically broken by the war. Many Europeans lost faith in the snake oil of nationalism and turned away from the standard frameworks of monarchy or liberal democracy. Some found solace in socialism, whereas others doubled down on ultranationalism in the form of fascist leaders.

Despite 9 million battle deaths – a number unfathomable when the war began – WWI solved little and sowed the seeds for the European cataclysm of 1939-45. It is an uncomfortable truth, especially for the United States, a nation that tends to see itself as being at the center of the world; the US played mostly a late, and bit, part in the drama across the Atlantic.

Siding with fascism: Western ideologues pose greater threat to the West's security than ISIS

A Western ideologue unravelling is no pretty sight. It’s like watching a lobster boiling in a pot. And like that lobster he or she eventually pops.

‘Popping’ recently over Russia have been key figures of the Western geopolitical and ideological firmament – people for whom the world is made of a Western bloc of nations divinely ordained to command, and the rest of the world condemned to obey.

A prime example of what I mean concerns the Atlantic Council in Washington, one of the more notorious of an ever expanding network of neocon think tanks in our world, within whose Washington offices you will find gathered cranks of inordinate dimension.

For such people Russia is not a country of 146 million people whose contribution to the world in the fields of art, science, culture and so on has been profound throughout its history and remains so today, but instead is a cancer that needs to be removed – preferably by force.

'It is game, set and match to you': Farage congratulates Barnier on 'beating' Britain in Brexit talks at a half-empty European Parliament as the EU insists NO other deal is available

Nigel Farage today congratulated his arch nemesis Michel Barnier on beating the UK in the Brexit talks - declaring Brussels had won 'game, set and match'.

But he warned the deal is so loathed in Britain that it does not stand a chance of getting backed by MPs and the UK could be set to crash out without a deal at all.

It came after Mr Barnier said the agreement thrashed out with Theresa May is the only deal on the table.

Speaking in a half empty chamber in the European Parliament for a standard plenary session this morning, Mr Farage it is a 'good deal' for the EU but hated in Britain.

The ex Ukip leader said: 'It is a good deal for the European Union. For the UK, I think it is probably the worst deal in history.'

He added: 'Mr Barnier, I have to say, I wish you were on our side really, because it is game, set and match to you.'

Lashing the PM's divorce deal, he said it 'shattered any illusion' that Britain will become an independent country after March next year.

Theresa May's Brexit deal was torn apart in the Commons, just as it would be by the general public

Did previous generations who lived in historic times find history to be so aggressively punctuated with formal statements?

When Genghis Khan conquered China, for example, was he required to make public statements to the effect that he was a) thinking about conquering China, b) going to conquer China, c) in the process of conquering China, and ultimately d) had conquered China?

No one doubts that Theresa May agreeing a deal to formalise the UK’s exit from the European Union is historic, not least given, as Winston Churchill once almost said, the last fortnight has lasted for a thousand years. But it has now been pre-announced, pre-pre-announced, announced and, at the despatch box of the House of Commons on Monday, enjoyed the first of what will be a lengthy string of re-re-announcements.

EU's lawyers argue Britain cannot cancel Brexit without the bloc's consent

Lawyers acting for the EU have argued that Britain should not be able to cancel Brexit without the bloc’s consent in order to prevent political chaos from engulfing the union.

The UK started the legal process of leaving the EU in March 2017 by invoking the Lisbon treaty clause, which spells out the steps towards the exit door.

'This is Project Hysteria': Brexiteers slam Bank of England chief after he warned No Deal doomsday could cause the worst recession since the 1930s and plunge house prices by 30%

The Bank of England has warned the pound would crash, inflation will soar and interest rates would have to rise in the event of a no deal disorderly Brexit.

Bank Governor Mark Carney said the impact of Brexit would depend entirely on whether there was a deal but said he had a duty to spell out what might happen.

Mr Carney said the Bank's job was not to 'hope for the best but prepare for the worst' - but his blood-curdling claims will enrage Brexiteers.

The figures are contained in a 'worst case scenario' published by the Bank which suggests in a last-minute no deal, no transition Brexit Britain's GDP could plunge rapidly by 8 per cent - much worse than the 2008 financial crisis.

But he faced a backlash from Eurosceptic MPs, who accused him of mobilising ‘Project Hysteria’ in support of Mrs May’s deal.

‘We rid you of the NAZIS!’ Brexiteer MEP EXPLODES at EU’s attempts to ‘ENSLAVE BRITAIN’

The Scottish MEP accused the European Union of trying to “stamp their boot” on Britain with their latest offer for a Brexit deal. Mr Coburn previously branded the tentative agreement an “insult” to the United Kingdom, insisting Brussels should pay tribute to the important role the country played in defeating the Nazis during World War 2. The leader of Ukip Scotland claimed the bloc is trying to “enslave” Britain and force Britons to stay in the EU by exploiting the fragile relationship between Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Addressing colleagues during the European Parliament plenary in Brussels on Wednesday, Mr Coburn said: “George Orwell said ‘if you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever.’

“The EU has tried to stamp a jackboot down on Britain with its recent so-called Brexit deal for democratically daring to leave. An attempted enslavement of the very nation that fought the Nazis and liberated Europe.

Spain rejects China's Silk Road plan

Spain will not sign on to China's ambitious "One Belt, One Road" initiative that seeks to better link Asia and Europe, a senior government official said Tuesday ahead of a visit by President Xi Jinping.

The multi-billion-dollar initiative, unveiled by Xi in 2013, aims to link the continents through a network of ports, railways, roads and industrial parks.

Beijing plans to develop the network through 65 countries representing an estimated 60 percent of the world's population and a third of its economic output.

So far, around 70 countries have signed a memorandum of understanding pledging their interest in the project -- an agreement that Beijing values as it seeks to expand its project.

In Europe, countries such as Poland and Greece have signed but the project has created considerable anxiety that it masks an attempted Beijing influence grab.

"We're not going to sign the initiative," said an official from the Spanish prime minister's office, who refused to be named.

Ukraine Provocation in the Black Sea Directed against Russia. Was it a Staged Event?

Ukraine is a virtual US colony – the way it’s been since the Obama regime’s February 2014 coup, replacing democratic governance with fascist tyranny in Europe’s heartland.

Ukraine shares a near-1,500 mile land and sea border with the Russian Federation, the longest Western frontier with the country.

The regime running things is a hotbed of militarized extremism, waging war on its own people, committing appalling human rights abuses – with full support and encouragement from Washington and key NATO countries.

Stop NATO’s Rick Rozoff earlier explained that Ukraine is “the decisive linchpin in plans by the US and its NATO allies to effect a military cordon sanitaire, severing Russia from Europe” – part of a sinister plot, risking East/West confrontation.

Vladimir Putin earlier said

Trump attacks May's Brexit deal, says it may harm US-UK trade

US president says it "sounds like a great deal" for the EU, adding that Britain may not be able to trade with the US.

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that UK Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit agreement with the European Union (EU) may hamper trade between Washington and London.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Trump said the deal that May struck with Brussels "sounds like a great deal" for the EU.

"I think we have to take a look at, seriously, whether or not the UK is allowed to trade, because you know right now, if you look at the deal, they may not be able to trade with us," he said.

"That wouldn't be a good thing. I don't think they meant that, I don't think the prime minister meant that, and hopefully she'll be able to do something about that," Trump said.

The investment would be made by a company based in Abu Dhabi for a pipeline project which is internationally known to be unique given its record length as well as the extreme depths it would be laid toward Europe, Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen quoted Israeli media as reporting.

The agreement has been described as “historic” by Israeli media, al-Mayadeen added.

Israel has signed a multilateral deal over the scheme – called the East Med Pipeline Project - with Greece, Italy and Cyprus. The European Union also supports the project.

EU-WIDE ‘ANTI-RUSSIAN PSY-OPS’ PROGRAM CONFIRMS UK GOVT FUNDING, ANONYMOUS DENIES LEAK

A network exposed by leaked documents as a Europe-wide PR operation aimed at curbing “Russian propaganda” has confirmed receiving money from the British government, while Anonymous has denied on Twitter that it’s behind the leak.
The Integrity Initiative (II) is a network claiming to fight disinformation that threatens democracy. A trove of alleged II documents, which purports to show costs and internal guidelines as well as names of individuals cooperating with it, has been published by people claiming to be part of the Anonymous collective. A major Anonymous-linked Twitter account has denied it was linked to the leak.

Responding to the leak on Monday, the organization said it did indeed receive funding from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) for the past two years, but insisted that private donors were its primary source of money.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Color me unsurprised by this revelation.

But the one thing I can tell you, watching the unfolding of these horrific, US generated wars. (allegedly on Terror, but actually against the people who have the nerve to live over those resources the US and EU very much want to "liberate") ,is that kind of demonization, coupled with sanctions against said countries, means war is coming.

That incident yesterday, regarding Ukraine patrol boats, seized by the Russians, out of international waters, is a case in point, followed by the histrionics delivered by Nikki Haley at the UN's emergency session today, today, are a very good example of this kind of demonization.

And the other thing most presstitutes did NOT choose to cover, was extensive shelling, by the Ukrainian military, in Donbass yesterday.

Germany, China seek to defuse Kerch Strait tensions, as Austria worries over impact on Ukraine vote

The German Foreign Minister has urged Russia and Ukraine to defuse tensions after their naval clash off the Crimean coast. Austria said that Kiev imposing martial law was a “worrying” step ahead of Ukraine’s presidential vote.

A brief but intense standoff between Ukrainian Navy ships and the Russian coast guard off the Crimean coast was an “alarming” event, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said. He called upon both sides to de-escalate tensions, while also criticizing Moscow for what he called “a blockade of a passageway to the Azov Sea.”

Speaking in Madrid, Maas also said that Germany and France could play the role of “mediators” between Russia and Ukraine “in case of need.” Berlin and Paris are ready to jointly step in at a diplomatic level to prevent “this conflict from exacerbating any further,” he said.
