How Desire for Border Control in the West Saw Globalization Concede

Since its onset, the European migration crisis has reshaped the way governments handle border control, while promises to put a halter upon mass migration have won elections and broken up political unions.

In the political realm, the approach of EU member states to dealing with illegal migrants on their shores and frontiers have varied significantly — from Angela Merkel's "open door policy" to Viktor Orban's "Europe is under invasion" perspective.

The German Chancellor has largely relied on the concept of a united Europe and sought to distribute refugees among all 28 EU member states and eventually eliminate the causes of the refugee inflow.

Three Democrats Who Called Trump ‘The Grinch’ During Wall Shutdown Fight

Several Democrats called President Donald Trump “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” during the government shutdown fight over wall funding last weekend.

During the government shutdown fight over Trump’s proposed $5 billion in wall funding, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) compared the president to Dr. Suess’s “the Grinch” on CNN.

Kaine, who was Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential candidate during the 2016 election, said, “Donald J. Trump is about to be ‘The Grinch that Stole Christmas.'”

Swedish National TV Under Fire for 'Hushing Up' Details of Hikers' Brutal Murder

Not only did the state broadcaster run an article claiming that the bestial murder of two Scandinavian girls in Morocco "had nothing to do with Islam", but it also put the emphasis on the fact that sharing the graphic video of the killing is illegal, while downplaying the sheer brutality of the murder itself, many viewers complained.

Swedish national broadcaster SVT has come under a storm of criticism for its coverage of the double murder of Louisa Vesterager Jespersen (24) and Maren Ueland (28) by Islamists in Morocco.

Many viewers complained that the state broadcaster was more concerned by the video of the killing being spread than the grisly murders themselves. While one of the victims was decapitated alive in the style of Daesh* executions, SVT didn't mention the beheading at all, instead merely reporting about "neck wounds".

The clip is so brutal that many people who have watched it admit to it having a deep impact and regret having ever played it.

Incoherent Thoughts from the Yankee Capital: Papua New Guinea Looks Better and Better II

Having just returned from two weeks in the curious environs of Washington, DC, I offer a few observations on the national lunacy deposit:

The de-Christianization of the country, or at least this part of it, is almost complete. I can think of hearing the word “Christmas” only twice in two weeks of trough-inciting retail advertising.

Culture shock: We stayed with friends who for various reasons, such as being in the business, always had a television on. At home in Mexico we got rid of the lobotomy box some fifteen years ago, seeing little advantage in paying seventy dollars a month for 250 channels, none worth watching, adorned with twenty minutes an hour of stupid commercials. Coming back to this was like jumping into raw sewage. Perhaps the worst of it was the contempt for the public manifested in running the same ad twice in one commercial break, and in the loving close-ups of pizzas with dripping cheese. Buy, buy, buy.

Did Defense Secretary James Mattis Commit War Crimes in Iraq?

Retired Gen. James Mattis earned the nickname “Mad Dog” for leading U.S. Marines into battle in Fallujah, Iraq, in April 2004. In that assault, members of the Marine Corps, under Mattis’ command, shot at ambulances and aid workers. They cordoned off the city, preventing civilians from escaping. They posed for trophy photos with the people they killed.

Each of these offenses has put other military commanders and members of the rank and file in front of international war crimes tribunals. The doctrine that landed them there dates back to World War II, when an American military tribunal held Japanese Gen. Tomoyuki Yamashita accountable for war crimes in the Philippines. His execution later was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.

During the siege of Fallujah, which I covered as an unembedded journalist, Marines killed so many civilians that the municipal soccer stadium had to be turned into a graveyard.

Dahr Jamail | James Mattis Is a War Criminal: I Experienced His Attack on Fallujah Firsthand

In November 2005 US marines in Iraq committed a massacre of 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians. The slaughtering of unarmed men, women, children and elderly people, shot multiple times at close range, was retribution for a roadside bomb attack on a convoy of marines. The war crimes were extremely well documented and the atrocity garnered international attention.

When it came time to bring the marines responsible for the massacre to justice, Mattis was the convening authority over the eight charged with crimes at Haditha.

Mattis went on to dismiss all of the charges leveled against the marines who had been accused of killing the civilians and of the eight originally charged, only one still faces possible prosecution, but one can guess how that will end up.

Hey, Remember How James Mattis Was Accused of Doing War Crimes?

It’s also worth remembering that Mattis is hardy deserving of the respect stowed upon him simply because he’s a military guy. In fact, Mattis very may well have committed war crimes while commanding Marines in Iraq. Per Aaron Glantz, who wrote a retrospective for Reveal when Mattis was first nominated for defense secretary:

Retired Gen. James Mattis earned the nickname “Mad Dog” for leading U.S. Marines into battle in Fallujah, Iraq, in April 2004. FBI Dir. Comey: Member, HSBC Board – Clinton Foundation and Drug Cartel Money Launderer

Now, it can be made clear as to why the FBI Director James Comey had been flip-flopping with his statements regarding the Clintons’ slew of high crimes, i.e. he has multiple conflicts of interest when it comes to investigating the affairs of the latter and the Deep State, at large

Dec 25 12:42

Don’t Cry For Comey

But despite what some of his detractors will tell you, the worst blemishes on Comey’s record have nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. A few high-profile acts of resistance to some Bush-era excesses have papered over his much longer record as a privacy-shredding extremist who has repeatedly advocated trampling basic rights for the sake of national security. Despite his much-hyped acknowledgement of the bureau’s past misdeeds, Comey’s FBI continued its long-standing pattern of racial profiling and criminalizing lawful activism. And completely forgotten today is Comey’s record in the private sector, where he did the political bidding of his corporate employers.

Dems Accuse Trump Of "Plunging Country Into Chaos," End Of Shutdown "Hard To See"

Mere minutes before the market closed at 1 pm ET on Christmas Eve, the S&P 500 broke below its lows from April 2017, signaling the end to the longest bull market in US history. And now that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's fumbling plan to "calm" markets by ringing up the Plunge Protection Team on the day before Christmas has spectacularly backfired - and a good chunk of the federal government is set to remain closed through the holiday (ensuring that the White House Christmas tree will remain symbolically dark) - the Democrats just couldn't resist kicking sand in the President's face as the majority of Americans tune out for the holiday.

In a joint statement from Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic leaders chided Trump for "plunging the country into chaos" by obeying the whims of conservative talk radio hosts, repeatedly lashing out at the Federal Reserve and "firing" the Secretary of Defense.

Is Trump’s Wall Really Immoral? What Would We Take Instead?

So there’s going to be at least a brief government shutdown over the Democrats’ refusal to fund President Trump’s Wall. Good. I cheered on the Wall when Trump put it at the front of his campaign in 2016. And of course we should have a secure barrier to separate us from the semi-barbarous countries to our south, most of which are not so much nation-states as criminal enterprises.

Still, I’m starting to worry that Trump’s need for a Wall—and he really does need it, if he’s not to be thrown out of office in 2020 to jeers of derision and hoots of contempt—I’m worrying that this Wall obsession is crowding out real patriotic immigration reform.

Nearly 300,000 Syrians returned to their homes after the Turkish military conducted successful operations in the region, as reported on Anadolu Agency.

“The number of Syrians who returned to their country after the Operations Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch is 291,790,” Suleyman Soylu said speaking at the second International Coordination Meeting on Irregular Migration.

Turkey conducted two cross-border operations in Syria since 2016, Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation Olive Branch, to eradicate the presence of YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorists near Turkey’s borders.

Speaking about Turkey’s geographical location as the main route for illegal crossings of refugees who want to go to Europe, the Interior minister said that in 2018 so far 251,794 irregular migrants were held during their attempts to illegally cross borders.

Trump Doubles Down on Border Wall Demands and Prevails

With his resistance to the Schumer-Pelosi shutdown political tactics and threats, President Trump is making it clear to his voters that he’s not just talk. A key victory could be that his resistance forced the House to approve border wall funding after POTUS rejected a Senate-approved House-passed bill that lacked funding. “The fact that he’s fighting here today is huge,” said Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC). “You can remember the Alamo in San Antonio. It’s not because they won there, it’s because they fought there. And if we’re willing to fight, a lot of people support the president and his willingness to fight. “President Trump will be dealing with a Democrat-controlled House come January when the new session of Congress begins though it’s not very promising for incoming Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) if her strategy is to browbeat President Trump. History has shown that doesn’t end well, but it certainly won’t stop her from trying.

To wit, during an end-of-year interview with Global News, the Canadian leader accused President Trump's 'racist' immigration policies of provoking a worsening immigration crisis in Canada, as more immigrants seek to flee north, fearing a 'hostile, anti-refugee' climate in the US. When asked what he believes is to blame for the worsening crisis, which this year led to the Canadian government putting asylum applicants up in 3 star hotels after shelters - including one in a stadium in Montreal - filled to capacity, Trudeau said it was Trump's policies, not Trudeau's infamous 2017 tweet advising migrants that Canada would offer safe harbor to anybody fleeing persecution, that inspired thousands of migrants to flee north from the US into Canada.

Afghan grins in mugshot after beating up Swedish elderly woman and calls her “a racist”

The criminal Afghan has previously been convicted of attempted murder, among other offences, but has avoided expulsion each time. This time as well.

The 74-year-old Ingrid’s glasses broke in half when the criminal Afghan Walid struck her in her face. Walid then accused the elderly woman of being racist – and got off with only a few weeks’ imprisonment.

On 31 October, Ingrid went down to the laundry room in her apartment building. There she met 29-year-old Walid.

According to Ingrid, Walid was carrying a mattress when she saw him. After she asked if he had slept at his parents, he replied, “No, I’m an idiot.” She replied “Yes, you are.”

The Afghan then tore off and broke her glasses, then punched her hard in the face. Ingrid was in pain and shock afterwards. When Walid was arrested by police, he grinned when he was photographed.

Five-member German family receives less in benefits than family of four migrants

Thomas Hetze, a German with his family of five who has paid into the social system for years, was recently told he is only entitled to 900 euros per month by the German government.

Currently a migrant family of four is entitled to 1350 euros without ever having paid into the social systems. The UN Social Council found large problems in the application of human rights in Germany.

Especially the elderly, who are living in inhumane conditions due to a lack of personnel. The report goes on to talk about a total of about 2.55 million children, who are currently living in poverty.

Experts say bureaucracy and a lack of information are keeping parents from receiving the benefits to which they are entitled.

California cops are 'frustrated' with sanctuary laws stopping them from working with ICE over twice-deported undocumented immigrant who went on deadly crime spree before killing himself following high-speed chase

A California sheriff has vented his frustration with the state's controversial sanctuary laws after a twice-deported criminal carried out a deadly crime spree, which ended with his suicide at the end of a 100mph police chase.

Gustavo Garcia, 36, died in an apparently intentional wrong-way crash in Porterville on Monday, after officials said he shot dead a gas station attendant, wounded two other people, carjacked farmworkers and robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

The US immigration and Customs Enforcement later released a statement saying that Garcia's rampage 'could have been prevented' if the federal agency had been made aware of his release from jail on Friday, after he was picked up on a minor drug charge.

House approves spending bill with $5.7B for border wall

The House of Representatives Thursday approved a bill that would fund most of the federal government through early February -- and provides $5.7 billion for President Trump's long-promised border wall, increasing the chances of a partial government shutdown later this week.

Eight Republicans joined all 177 voting Democrats to oppose the measure, which passed 217-185. The bill now goes to the Senate, where it is certain to fall short of the 60 votes needed for passage since the chamber's 49 Democrats are against funding the wall. That, in turn, makes it more likely that parts of the federal government, including nine of 15 Cabinet-level departments and dozens of agencies, will cease operations at midnight Friday.

The vote came hours after Trump told House GOP leaders that he would not enact a Senate-passed package that does not provide money for the barrier.

Swedish Politician Says It’s “Crucial” For Young Swedes To Learn Arabic if They’re to be Successful

Swedish Moderate Party leader Ulf Kristersson insists that it’s “crucial” for young Swedes to learn Arabic if they are to be successful in the future.

Some may take Kristersson’s remarks as another sign that Sweden, which has accepted large numbers of migrants from the Middle East in recent years, is becoming increasingly Islamic.

For hundreds of years, Finnish was the second most spoken language in the Scandinavian country but was recently overtaken by Arabic as Sweden’s largest minority language.

Government spending for illegal immigrants should outrage all Americans

Last week, New Jersey became the 10th state to offer financial aid to illegal immigrants. Along with other states like California, Texas, and Connecticut, illegal immigrants in New Jersey can now receive in-state tuition as well as taxpayer funded scholarships.

A rational person might ask several questions about this new law, like how much this new law will cost the state, whether such a law encourages more illegal immigration, and whether this law eliminates scholarship opportunities for American citizens.

These are all valid questions, but politicians and immigration activists in New Jersey and around the country don’t care. To them, American citizenship clearly means very little. They will stop at nothing to grant illegal immigrants the rights and benefits of citizens.

US Sends $10 Billion To Mexico, Central America To Improve "Security Conditions And Job Opportunities"

While Democrats won't agree to give Trump $5 billion for his border wall, the United States on Tuesday pledged over $10 billion in aid to Central America and Mexico, according to AP.

$5.8 billion will go to Central American countries to strengthen government and economic development, while $4.8 billion will go towards development aid for southern Mexico - which we're sure won't be misappropriated into a giant slush fund.

The U.S aid aims to promote better security conditions and job opportunities as part of a regional plan to allow Central Americans to remain in their countries and not have to emigrate.

The plan was announced in a joint U.S.-Mexican statement released by the State Department and read aloud by Mexican Foreign Relations Secretary Marcelo Ebrard in the Mexican capital. -AP

Saudi Arabia’s repeated human rights violations include “unlawful killings,” “official gender discrimination against women” and “criminalization of same sex sexual activity,” according to the U.S. State Department.

The State Department also notes that the forced labor of immigrant workers is a significant human rights issue in Saudi Arabia.

Left-wing activists pressured advertisers to boycott Carlson’s show after he said liberals believe America has a “moral obligation to admit the world’s poor … even if it makes our own country poorer and dirtier and more divided.”

The left-wing activist group that accosted Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi at a movie theater in June received half a million dollars in 2017 from an organization funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation reveal.

Organize Florida, the group that hounded Bondi from a Florida movie theater, received $500,000 last year from the Open Society Policy Center (OSPC), according to OSPC’s most recent tax forms.

OSPC is the advocacy arm of Soros’s Open Society Foundations, which the billionaire uses to advance his left-wing worldview around the globe.

President Trump Vows to ‘Win’ on Border Wall Funding Fight

This morning, President Trump said that he’s determined to “win” on the current border wall funding fight being waged with intransigent congressional Democrats.

Yesterday, the White House signaled it may be willing to compromise on a spending deal to keep the government open past the Friday deadline. Trump is currently demanding $5 billion for construction of the border wall. To obtain that amount of money from current spending packages, the Senate needs to OK the appropriation by 60 votes. With only 51 Republican senators, that means garnering support from Democrat senators, all of whom are digging their heels in to oppose the measure.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders suggested that Trump would sign whatever spending package comes to his desk, and would later pay for the wall from funding at other government agencies.

Texas Trump voter now fears the president will seize her family’s land to build his border wall

A Texas woman who voted for President Donald Trump in 2016 tells the Los Angeles Times that she’s now afraid her family’s land will be seized in order to build the president’s proposed border wall.

Rios tells the LA Times that she voted for Trump in 2016 because she wanted to stop undocumented immigrants from coming into the United States.

However, she was disturbed earlier this year when her family received a letter from the federal government asking them to let surveyors access their lands so they could determine whether any of it needed to be used for the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“This is our land,” said the 60-year-old Rios, whose family founded the tiny De La Cruz colonia in the Rio Grande Valley decades ago.

Germany's Arabic crime 'clans' are filling their ranks by recruiting some of the million asylum seekers let into the country, police warn

German police warn that crime gangs of Arabic origin have targeted a new generation of refugees for recruitment.

Known in the media as Berlin's 'clans', whose founders themselves fled war in Lebanon in the 1980s, they have long controlled much of the city's illegal drugs trade, street prostitution and protection rackets.

Now police warn that the clans have sought out new members from among the more than one million asylum seekers who have arrived in Germany since mid-2015, half of them from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The clans 'are trying to get others to do the dirty work' such as selling drugs or committing small burglaries, said Benjamin Jendro of the GDP police union.

Prof Who Co-Founded Black Lives Matter: 'I.C.E. = Gestapo'

An Arizona professor tweeted recently that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is equivalent to the Gestapo.

Prescott College adjunct professor Patrisse Cullors, who is also a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement, made the statement on Twitter. The Gestapo, otherwise known as the Nazi secret police, was formed in 1933 and lasted until the end of World War II. The Gestapo played a key role in Nazi Germany’s plan to exterminate European Jews.

When asked to comment further on her tweet, Cullors told Campus Reform, “I’ve been reading about ICE’s role in rounding up human beings who are labeled ‘illegal’ by the U.S. government."

The border wall battle will likely define the Trump Presidency when it’s all said and done.

On one hand, a populist President has tirelessly railed against the unprotected U.S. border while the Democrats, who supported border protection in the past, have chosen to promote their rampant hatred for the President.

Trump will "Absolutely" Shut Down the Government: OK, So What Will Close?

Here’s what to expect in a Government Shutdown.

The Postal Service is an independent agency, so it won’t be affected in any government shutdown.

Air-traffic controllers still will be on the job and customs and border agents will continue working at border crossings.

Amtrak, a government-owned corporation, also will operate as usual.
Those who want to go to national parks and federally operated museums could find popular places closed or hours curtailed.

The national zoos may close but the zoo’s animal caretakers always are considered essential.

Food-safety inspections continue but could be curtailed if a shutdown lingers.

Social Security benefits still go out, as will Medicare services and benefits from programs such as the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program and Women, Infants and Children for at least as long as some carryover money in the states or the federal accounts are available.

Border Bedlam (John Friend reports from Tijuana!)

Men, women, and children are camping in tents and other handmade shelters in a public street next to the sports complex, which is a roughly 10-minute drive from the main U.S. border-crossing entry. The vast majority of those camping are young men aged 16-25, based on this reporter’s estimation. According to locals, thousands of migrants had been living in or near the sports complex in previous weeks, but many have either relocated, attempted to cross the border, or have begun the arduous journey back home after realizing gaining asylum or refugee status in the United States is a much more difficult process than they had anticipated or were promised. The sports complex and surrounding area is covered with garbage, discarded items, and human waste. The main entryway to the complex is locked, and signs are posted indicating the facility is closed.

Signs Of Coming Collapse: Citizens Worldwide Revolt Against Taxation & Illegal Aliens

There are many serious issues to address, relevant to current events. Just to skim some of what has happened most recently, the Dow Jones (although a “lagging” indicator) has been extremely volatile within the past month, appearing to be headed toward a loss for the year overall. Spending is down, and the “bubble” of pseudo-consumer confidence prior to Thanksgiving seems to have dissipated.

The main focus: the unrest that is swiftly crossing national borders has a common denominator in France, and now in Belgium and the Netherlands. That common denominator is that of the populace being fed up with the amount of taxation, coupled with the politicos pushing illegal Muslim aliens into nations that have been predominantly Christian for almost a thousand years.

New Jersey Becomes a Sanctuary State By Order of Its Attorney General

On November 29, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal issued a directive turning the Garden State into a sanctuary state. The New Jersey Attorney General, unlike those of most states, is appointed by the governor, in this case Governor Phil Murphy (D), so this appears to be the first case of a state being made into a sanctuary for illegal aliens by the unilateral executive action of a non-elected official.

NORWAY POLICE: We have no control over the parts of Oslo, and migrants rape and strangle women

Police in Norway say it lost control of the city of Oslo because of the radical Islamists taking over the area.

According to the police, Grønland, a district in the city of Oslo, is experiencing "apocalyptic levels of violence and lawlessness."

The Grønland neighborhood in the city of Oslo looks like Karachi, Basra and Mogadishu all in one. People are selling drugs open to the subway station, violence has taken the level of the epidemic, and the police largely give up the implementation of the law. This is no longer Norway or Europe, except for the standard of living.

The police are powerless. Five years ago, Aftenposten, the pro-Islamic largest newspaper in Oslo, said there was a sharia zone in that city, and gay couples are attacking and terrorizing those areas. "Immigrant Fatima Tetouani says that the Greensland is more Muslim than in Morocco."
Women were raped during the night in Oslo, and men were robbing more than ever.

Trump Considers Delaying Border Wall Fight Until January

President Trump may cave again on his demand for $5 billion in border-wall funding, delaying the spending fight until next month so as to not disrupt Christmas.

Trump’s shutdown promise

The putting off of the fight over border-wall funding is reportedly being considered by the President after he signed a short-term, two-week spending bill into law that lacked the spending he requested for border security. (RELATED: Congress Passes Short-Term Spending Bill to Avert Government Shutdown With No Wall Funding.)

Democrats are resisting the demand for wall funding, specifically in the U.S. Senate, where 60 votes are needed to pass any new appropriation. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has already vowed to defy Trump’s demands.
