Professors warn: German welcome culture is over, people focus on resistance and national identity

Two professors have warned for the future as more Germans are ‘radicalising’ and the welcome culture is over.

The professors made their statement after the vehicular attacks on migrants in Bottrop and Essen on New Year’s Day by a radicalised German citizen.

Professor in criminology Hans-Dieter Schwind warned that “the welcome culture in Germany is over”. According to Schwind the attack, that injured eight people, can be ‘related’ to the fact that Germans see migration increasingly as a threat.

AfD leader blames media smear campaign for ‘assassination attempt’ on state chairman

Magnitz was almost beaten to death by three masked thugs in the northern German city of Bremen. Police said they are treating the incident as a “politically motivated act.”

AfD leader Alice Weidel said “she is completely shocked by this abhorrent act” and partly blames the media for it. According to her the media’s smear campaign against her democratically elected party “finally beared fruit”.

Weidel says “this cowardly attack is to be completely condemned” and “this violence has reached a completely new level”.

The AfD leader also refers to a bombing attack in Döbeln, where an explosive device partly destroyed a local AfD party building.

Watch: Shocking footage shows how police officers get attacked by ‘Arabs’ in Berlin

“Shoot them (the police), shoot! Go, boys (comrades)! shoot him there (at one policeman)!” Shocking footage made by the German police during New Year’s Eve shows how officers were attacked.

According to the source of the footage it was recorded in Berlin and Arab men with with Syrian, Palestinian and Lebanese dialects can be heard.

The video clearly shows the attackers had the intention to attack the police officers and some are instructed to do so:

“Sons of bitches! Shoot them those sons of bitches! Sons of bitches! Shoot them (the police), shoot! Sons of bitches! Okay Samieh, let him go, he’s had enough, he’s had enough, let him go.”

President Trump lays groundwork for national emergency declaration; cites humanitarian crisis of illegal migrants and human traffickers

Although widely expected to declare a national emergency in a televised address this evening, President Trump instead used the broadcast to appeal to the American people to demand Democrats capitulate and approve funding for border security.

In doing this, President Trump set the stage for invoking a new national emergency in the days ahead if Democrats fail to fund the border wall.

Citing a “growing humanitarian and security crisis,” the President cited an array of alarming (but true) statistics that describe the horrifying cost of illegal immigration. “Last month 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the United States,” the President stated, adding that those children were, “used as human pawns by ruthless gangs.”

Ann Coulter: Media Throw Everything at the Wall to See What Sticks

Now that Trump has finally turned to the campaign promise that won him the election — build a wall and deport illegals — the Democrats, the media and even most Republicans are hysterical.

Just remember: They were hysterical about Ronald Reagan, too. You don’t change history by being a follower, particularly if the people you’re following are unimaginative, go-with-the-flow company men.

When President Reagan implemented the strategy that won the Cold War, he was opposed by the entire media, as well as foreign policy “experts” in both parties.

AOC Abandons Truth in Favor of Illegal Immigration

Triggered by President Trump’s Tuesday night immigration address, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) appeared on MSNBC with Rachel Maddow and promptly went off the rails to defend the Left’s open borders agenda. Some of her most notable comments included these gems: “Every day immigrants commit crimes at a far lower rate than everyday Americans” and that the illegal immigrant caravan posted up at our Southern border “are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be.” AOC also doubled down on her previous claims that President Trump is racist. Her remarks were made, somewhat ironically, after she appeared on CBS’ “60 Minutes” to explain that truth is an acceptable casualty in the pursuit of moral superiority.

Hashd Al-Sha'abi to Target Trespassing US Forces

A senior legislator in Baghdad on Wednesday warned the Pentagon to avoid a retreat from Syria to Iraq, saying that the US military troops will be targeted by Hashd al-Sha'abi (popular forces) otherwise.

Amer al-Fayez, a representative of Iraq's al-Bina coalition, was quoted by the Arabic-language al-Ma'aloumeh news website as saying on Wednesday that if the US forces cross the border into Iraq after withdrawing from Syria without a prior permission of the government in Iraq, they will come under attack by Hashd al-Sha'abi.

He added that the US forces cannot step onto Iraq's territories due to Hashd al-Sha'abi's firm opposition to their deployment.

Central American migrants keep heading toward USA, even as Trump focuses on stopping caravans

In his first ever Oval Office prime time address, President Donald Trump argues funding for his long-promised border wall is needed on security and humanitarian grounds and urges Democrats to "acknowledge the crisis." (Jan. 8) AP

President Donald Trump's efforts to halt migrant caravans and limit asylum have not deterred Central American minors and members of their families from rushing toward the USA, according to data released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Wednesday.

Border Patrol agents apprehended 27,518 members of family units in December, the highest monthly total on record. That figure has steadily climbed for five months, even as Trump made stopping migrant caravans the centerpiece of his midterm election strategy and drove Washington into a partial government shutdown over funding for his border wall.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump is absolutely correct, in characterising this as "a crisis". And I have an interesting companion piece to share:

'Sadly, much of what we have heard from President Trump throughout this senseless shutdown has been full of misinformation and even malice,' said Pelosi, hitting at the president's motives from the get-go.

What Happened To The Fence Promised By The Secure Fence Act Of 2006?

The primary goal of the Secure Fence Act of 2006 was to help secure America’s borders to decrease illegal entry, drug trafficking, and security threats by building 700 miles (1,100 km) of physical barriers along the Mexico-United States border. Later in the text of the bill, it specifies what was supposed to be built: a double-layered fence with barbed-wire on top and room for a security vehicle to patrol between the layers. Not bad right?

Of the almost 700 miles of fencing specified in the bill only 36.3 miles of double-layered fencing, as the law required has been built.

Italy’s Salvini keeps campaign promise and reduces number of migrant crossings by 80 per cent

Spain now leads in number of migrant crossings than any other European country. Whilst at the same time, crossings into Italy have fallen 80 per cent, Reuters reports.

The European border agency, Frontex, reported that 150,000 migrants entered EU countries illegally in 2018. Spain’s portion of those was double previous years’ having 57,000 using the now most active wroute through Morocco. Iraq and Syrian illegal migrants to Cyprus and Greece were up to 56,000.

On the other hand, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini has kept his campaign promise of reducing illegal immigration to Italy.

They’ve seen an 80 per cent drop since Salvini said in June, “From today, Italy will also start to say no to human trafficking, no to the business of illegal immigration.” There were 23,000 crossings into Italy, the majority during the first half of the year.

Broadcast networks consider SNUBBING Trump's prime time address on the 'national humanitarian and security crisis' at the border and may give Democrats equal time to respond

President Donald Trump will address the nation Tuesday night in a prime time speech to address the ongoing government shutdown and his demands for a $5.7 billion border wall.

But the four broadcast networks were debating whether to give what amounts to free air time to the president, who on Monday unleashed another one of his attacks on the 'fake news' media.

CBS announced Monday night it would air the remarks and revealed the address would only be 8 minutes long. Cable networks CNN, Fox News and Fox Business News also confirmed they will air the president's speech.

It was not immediately clear whether the other broadcast networks would comply with the White House request to have them air the speech – which would provide some of the dramatic flair Trump is looking for with the event.

CONFIRMED: President Trump Can Sell Federal Land To Build The Wall

To build a wall along the United States’ international border with Mexico, President Donald Trump could order the sale of approximately 500,000 to 5 million acres of federal land. The U.S. Government currently claims ownership of about 640 million acres of land — or about 28% of the total land mass of the nation. This could raise the entire $25 billion needed to finance building the wall (not just the next installment we are currently fighting over).

What Trump Must Say In His Oval Office Address: Democrats Want to Replace YOU

Some Senate Republicans, notably the ludicrous cuckservative Cory Gardner, are already eager to call retreat [Colorado’s Cory Gardner breaks ranks with Senate Republicans, calls for end to government shutdown, by Anna Staver, The Denver Post, January 3, 2019]. By creating an existential conflict between nationalist Republicans and explicitly pro-mass immigration Democrats, the president can foster a political dynamic that will make it harder for any GOP members to defect.

He can do this by making three major points in his address, all contributing to the fundamental theme of the Democrats’ desired population replacement.

Trump Heads to Southern Border as Democrat Senator Chris Coons Says Progress Is Being Made

President Trump is headed to the southern border on Thursday. The announcement comes as Democrat Senator Chris Coons says that Trump’s offer to construct a steel-slat barrier along the southern border is a step in the right direction.

The Delaware senator, along with many of his colleagues, has ruled out a pure concrete wall as a feasible and effective barrier along the southern border. But, Trump’s request for a steel-slat barrier is more realistic, and, thus, represents “progress” towards ending the government shutdown, according to Coons. This admission comes despite Democrat leaders refusing to grant Trump even a penny on his border wall.

Kobach: GoFundMe Campaign for Border Wall Will Shatter All Records

We are witnessing something truly extraordinary. In merely 19 days, a GoFundMe campaign to raise private contributions to build sections of the wall along the Mexico border has raised an astonishing $19.0 million. It will soon be the most successful GoFundMe campaign ever—the current record holder is the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund for victims of sexual assault, which raised $22 million in 2018 over a much longer period of time. The campaign to build the wall should blow past that number in a few days.

Let’s put this in perspective. Consider the Presidential Election Campaign Fund Tax Check-Off, which is promoted by the IRS through the 1040 tax form and doesn’t require a contributor to give any money beyond what he is already paying in taxes. In April of 2016—normally the highest contribution month during a presidential campaign year—it raised $9.9 million. In a typical month, it raises less than a million dollars.

On top of the graceful Baltit Fort, overlooking the Hunza Valley’s Shangri-La-style splendor, it’s impossible not to feel dizzy at the view: an overwhelming collision of millennia of geology and centuries of history.

The location feels like vertigo. To the north, beyond the Batura Glacier, is the tiny northeast arm of Afghanistan, the legendary Wakhan corridor. A crest of the Hindu Kush separates Wakhan from the regional capital Gilgit. Xinjiang starts on Wakhan’s uppermost tip. Via the upgraded Karakoram highway, it’s only 240 km from Gilgit to the Khunjerab Pass, 4,934 meters high on the official China-Pakistan border.

Video Shows Chuck Schumer Arguing a Fence Will Make Border ‘Far More Secure’

A series of flags corresponding with the top-destinations – Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, Eritrea and Russia – shapes a zigzagging road to a fictional horizon.

The “ReturningfromGermany” ad campaign is the latest tactic by the German government to boost departures and deter migration, in a reversal of Angela Merkel’s controversial welcoming policy of 2015 at the height of the Syrian refugee crisis. The campaign is the brainchild of interior minister Horst Seehofer, Merkel’s rebellious right-wing rival, who forced a coalition crisis over Germany’s asylum policy last summer. -National Post

Pelosi Tells Nielson, ” I reject your facts”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen got into a tense confrontation this week, with the California Democrat interrupting Nielsen’s presentation on border security and illegal immigration, telling her “I reject your facts.”

The clash between the top House Democrat and a key member of President Trump’s Cabinet occurred during a Wednesday meeting in the White House amid the impasse over the government shutdown, with Trump standing firm and demanding $5 billion for the border wall.

At one point during the meeting, according to the Wall Street Journal, Pelosi interrupted Nielsen, who was citing statistics related to the border, including how many criminal illegal immigrants attempted to enter the U.S. last year.

UK: Illegal Migrant Caught Roving Street with Axe and Meat Cleaver

An illegal migrant suspected of dealing cocaine and heroin has been caught roving the streets with an axe and meat cleaver after police lost him last year.

Arsen Spahiu, a 25-year-old Albanian, was arrested on suspicion of having cocaine and heroin with intent to supply in Southampton in April 2018, reports Portsmouth’s The News.

Police released Spahiu without charge pending investigation and promptly lost track of him, however — despite his status as an illegal migrant without leave to remain in the country.

Econ 101: Trump Gov’t Shutdown Costs More Than His Border Wall Budget

The cost of the current partial US federal government shutdown is likely to have already surpassed the $5 billion that US President Donald Trump is seeking to construct a hotly-debated border wall with Mexico, according to analysts.

The federal government was partially shut down on December 22 after the Senate refused to pass Trump's $5 billion demand for a border wall. The demand had previously been included in a House-passed bill, but that piece of legislation did not make it through the Senate by a December 21 deadline.

Currently, nine of 15 federal departments, as well as dozens of other agencies and federal programs, have closed or decreased services. In addition, around 800,000 federal employees have been on furlough or are being forced to continue working without pay, costing the US economy an estimated billions of dollars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The open borders people are not thinking about costs. Otherwise they would realize that the costs for providing medical services for babies being born to illegal immigrants in this country is also more than the cost of Trump's wall. And Trump's wall is a one-time purchase whereas the costs for providing medical services for babies being born to illegal immigrants in this country continues year after year after year!

Ignoring the difference between legal and illegal immigration penalises migrants who play by the rules

It transpired that, in the aftermath of the bombing, some people had taken photographs of our visibly damaged home and presented the pictures as evidence of persecution against themselves in order to successfully gain asylum in the West. In pre-Google Earth days, it would’ve been fairly easy to get away with.

Outrageous? Perhaps. Certainly deceitful. But people living under regimes which show little regard for the rule of law and human rights are desperate to leave in search of a safer, better life. That is basic human nature, and without such an instinct we may well have become extinct as a species.

This is Sedition and Treason pure and simple. The Deepstate is in full revolt against the American people,The US Constitution and The Billof Rights! This is getting uglier by the minute.

President Donald Trump has suffered a setback after the Senate knocked hundreds of nominations back to the White House. As the 116th Congress began on Thursday, the Senate sent back over 270 nominations from the previous session, as well as a host of foreign service nominees.

The development is an unexpected and unwanted headache for the Trump administration, which has previously been critical of the perceived lack of speed in approving nominations.

The Department of Homeland Security will be releasing over 2000 migrants over the course of the next few weeks after facilities became packed full with border-crossing men, women, and children who seek refuge in the United States.

From Breitbart:

A DHS official confirmed to Breitbart News that the U.S. Border Patrol and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency is releasing more than 2,000 family units caught at the U.S.-Mexico border, citing a lack of detention space.

The border-crossing adults and the children they arrived at the border with will be released and given a court date for an immigration hearing. The adults will be given ankle monitors, though the DHS official says the process of keeping track of border-crossers via ankle monitors is not effective.

According to the report at least four major border crossing locations have been inundated with migrants.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, let me get this straight; the DHS, rather than deporting illegal families to their countries of origin, are allowing these illegal immigrants to stay in the US until they have their court date, for which they most probably will never appear?!? And it is known that the ankle monitors can be broken rather easily, or taken off by someone who knows how?!?

German Interior Minister Demands Tougher Asylum Laws After ‘Orgy of Violence’ Mob Attack

German Federal Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has demanded stricter legislation on asylum seekers after a mob of migrants attacked and injured a dozen people in Amberg on Saturday.

Seehofer, who serves as the leader of the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU), said that in the wake of the random attacks, the laws on asylum would be tightened along with deportation policies, Kronen Zeitung reports.

“The events in Amberg have upset me a lot. These are violent excesses that we can not tolerate,” Seehofer said and added, “If asylum seekers commit violent crimes, they must leave our country. If existing laws are not enough, they need to be changed. To this end, I will make proposals to the coalition.”

Donald Trump Open to Declaring a State of Emergency to Fund Border Wall

President Donald Trump said he was willing to declare a state of emergency on Friday, in order to build a wall on the Southern border.

“Absolutely, we can call a national emergency,” Trump said when asked about the idea by a reporter. “I haven’t done it. I may do it. I may do it.”
The president spoke to reporters in the Rose Garden on Friday at the White House after meeting with Congressional leaders for more than two hours to try to make a deal.

The president is allowed by law to issue a declaration of emergency to quickly move federal funds to a specific area based on his discretion. The state of emergency declaration is frequently used ahead of a hurricane or other national disaster.

2019 Government Shutdown Report: Most & Least Affected States

As the clock struck midnight December 22, 2018, the United States government shut down for the 21st time in history. This time, it’s a less-intense partial shutdown, which occurs when Congress fails to pass necessary appropriations bills. The partial shutdown has lasted into the New Year, hitting the thirteen-day mark on January 3, 2019. For context, the longest shutdown ever was 21 days under President Bill Clinton, and only seven shutdowns have ever lasted ten days or longer. This is the third shutdown under the Trump administration, but the previous ones lasted only one day and three days, respectively.

Trump Threatens To Keep Government Closed "For Months Or years"

Update 2: Trump defended the idea of a steel wall instead of using concrete, despite stating on Monday that the idea of a concrete wall was "NEVER ABANDONED."

Responding to a comment made by brand new Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) that she would help Democrats "impeach the motherfucker," Trump said "I thought her comments were disgraceful...I think she dishonored herself, and I think she dishonored her family."

Webmaster's Commentary:

When this man says he isn't bending on the wall issue, I would suggest that you take him at his word.

And to new Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib; congratulations!!

Your having demonized President Trump in this way, is only going to get his base even more fired up about getting out the vote in 2020, and they will most probably re-elect him, if the Electoral College stays in place.

Republican Lawmaker Reintroduces “Buy a Brick, Build a Wall Act” to Allow Private Contributions to Fund Border Wall

Congressman Warren Davidson (R-OH) reintroduced legislation on Thursday that will direct the Treasury Department to establish a fund allowing private contributions to fund and maintain border walls.

“Buy a Brick, Build a Wall Act” is newly introduced as HR32. “Millions of Americans agree and want to chip in to help secure our borders,” Congressman Davidson said, referring to triple-amputee Brian Kolfage’s fundraising campaign which has raised nearly $19 million with approximately 300,000 donors in under three weeks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This legislation has a nice ring to it.

But when it comes to borders, and protecting our country from more gangs; more disease; more Americans replaced with cheaper immigrant labor, more welfare, and an educational burden of teaching the kids these illegal immigrants brought with them, this is the Federal Government's job.

Trump admin wants to send more troops to border to string concertina wire

The Department of Homeland Security has requested more U.S. troops to be deployed at the border to add 160 miles of concertina wire on top of existing border fencing, according to three U.S. officials.

If approved by Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan, the addition of troops to enhance the fencing could extend the military's current deployment at the border until the end of September, based on the rate of construction, according to two officials. The military mission, which began two months ago, was set to end on Jan. 31.

The fencing that is to be reinforced with concertina wire is not new. The troops currently deployed at the border have already added concertina wire at ports of entry in Arizona, Texas and California. The request for troops to add an extra 160 miles of wire was first reported by NPR.

Reporter Presses Schumer on his Border Security Flip Flops

Ms. Kramer highlighted Schumer’s unequivocal statements slamming those who preferred substituting the term “undocumented workers” for illegal aliens. “Illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple. Until the American people are convinced we can stop future flows of illegal immigration, we will make no progress in dealing with the millions of illegal immigrants who are here now…..”. Wonder when the last time someone heard Chuck, or any other Democrat uses that now forbidden term so easily. Have they used it at all?

Even more interesting, given today’s standoff, you can watch Schumer having stressed the need for hundreds of miles of fencing/barriers claiming, forcefully concluding with “We must do as much as we can to gain control of our borders as soon as possible…..”. And that was ten years ago!

House Defies Trump; Votes To Reopen Government With No Wall Funding

In what what can only be described as theatre, the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives voted late Thursday to pass two bills that would reopen parts of the government affected by the partial shutdown.

The only problem is that neither of the bills contain funding for what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called an "inhumane" border wall - leaving Republicans and Democrats without any possible way forward during a Friday meeting at the White House following President Trump's vow to veto any legislation that does not include money for perhaps his greatest election promise.

Trump will meet at 11:30 a.m. with Pelosi and House Majority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) along with other congressional leaders, according to the Washington Examiner.

"We’ll go down there, we’ll talk," said Hoyer on Thursday. "We’ll try to come to an agreement."

Right-Wing Squads Patrol German Town Following Migrant Attack on Locals

The patrols are apparently being organised under the auspices of the right-wing National Democratic Party of Germany, with the presence of these “defence groups” being confirmed by the mayor of Amberg himself.

The recent drunken rampage of a group of teenage migrants in the Bavarian town of Amberg has apparently resulted in right-wing group members mobilising to secure the streets, The Local reports.

The migrant attack took place on the evening of 29 December, when the four suspects, all of them asylum seekers from Iran and Afghanistan, allegedly assaulted random passersby, resulting in 12 people sustaining injuries.

‘They hate Italians and must resign’: Salvini attacks mayors resisting harsh immigration rules

The times when mayors of Palermo, Florence and Naples could cash in on illegal immigrants are over, Italy's Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said, vowing that those resisting the new policies will answer before law and history.
“Those who help the illegal immigrants, hate Italians,” Salvini said, blasting his opponents on Facebook and Twitter.

The minister from the conservative Lega Nord Party promised that the rebelling city heads will “answer before law and history.” And it's no idle threat, as the former mayor of the Calabrian town of Riace is currently under house arrest on charges of aiding and abetting illegal immigration.

The state Senate voted Tuesday to override Gov. Roy Cooper’s veto of a voter ID bill, one of the final steps needed before the state requires voters to show photo identification at the polls.

The Senate voted 33-12 to override. In order to enact the law over Cooper’s objection, the House will also have to vote to override his veto. The House and Senate passed the bill with veto-proof majorities before the Democratic governor vetoed it. The measure would require certain forms of photo ID to vote in person.

Soros 'person of the year' indeed: In 2018 globalists pushed peoples’ patience to the edge

It is no secret that neoliberalism relentlessly pursues a globalized, borderless world where labor, products, and services obey the hidden hand of the free market. What is less often mentioned, however, is that this system is far more concerned with promoting the well-being of corporations and cowboy capitalists than assisting the average person on the street. Indeed, many of the world’s most powerful companies today have mutated into “stateless superpowers,” while consumers are forced to endure crippling austerity measures amid plummeting standards of living. The year 2018 could be seen as the tipping point when the grass-roots movement against these dire conditions took off.

McConnell Slams Pelosi's Shutdown Package, Will Reject Any Proposals Trump Won't Sign

As the partial government shutdown enters its 13th day, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) says he won't entertain any proposals from the Democrat-controlled House that President Trump won't sign.

McConnell was responding to a government funding package pushed by Speaker-to-be Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) aimed at resolving the shutdown, which contained no provisions to fund President Trump's border wall.

The sharp impasse comes after a bipartisan meeting with the president on Wednesday aimed to restarting moribund negotiations. But Trump dismissed Pelosi’s plan and said he would look “foolish” for reopening government departments unrelated to the immigration dispute, leaving the new divided Congress opening in a state of remarkable gridlock.

“We want the president to open up the government. We are giving him a Republican path to do that, why would he not do it?” Pelosi implored the president after the meeting. -Politico

New Congress: Democratic members sworn in, Pelosi elected speaker – live updates

The 116th Congress is being seated Thursday, with Democrats taking the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives after eight years out of power. The first order of business was electing Rep. Nancy Pelosi to be House speaker for the second time.

The House convened at noon. After Pelosi was confirmed, the new members will be sworn in. Once the ceremonial parts of the day are completed, the session may get more contentious.

Pelosi has announced plans to immediately pass a spending bill to end the government shutdown. However, the bill does not include funding for a border wall, so President Trump has said that he will not sign it.
