Putin Calls for Unbiased Investigation of Saudi Aramco Attacks in Talks With Crown Prince

Saudi Aramco's oil refinery was severely crippled in an attack on 14 September, which has been claimed by Yemen’s Houthi movement. Despite this, the US has claimed it has evidence that it was in fact Iran that was behind the incident, something which the country has vehemently denied.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has during talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman called for an unbiased investigation to be carried out into the recent attack on Saudi oil facilities on 14 September, the president's press service reported.

"The issue of the attack on Saudi oil refineries has been discussed [during talks]. Vladimir Putin expressed his concern with regard to the situation and has called for conducting a thorough and unbiased investigation of the incident", the statement said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Putin's call for an "unimpeded, unbiased investigation" into these attacks was a stroke of absolute brilliance; such an investigation will need to be carried out through a time framework which, in the most forensically correct manner, will require that the individuals doing this work, will have all the time necessary, to come to a reasonable, fact-centric conclusion.

I sincerely hope that President Putin's proposal will be put into action; and President Trump, please feel just the tiniest bit of gratitude for what Putin has done for you, with this request/challenge; this can buy you time to make sure that Saudi Arabia is actually protected by American weaponry (which it was NOT, when the attacks hit)

What Putin is urging here, is a "way out", potentially, for the US and Iran to work out their differences on a number of issues.

But sadly, there are way too many, in the Bowels of Power, internationally, who would love to see this cascade into a world war, featuring Israel, the US, and Saudi Arabia on one side of the conflict, and Russia, China, and Iran, on the other.

I sure hope to hell that I am wrong on this, and that logic, and lucidity can triumph, and "win the day"; but whoever did this wants a war now, and this may just accelerate their plans for more ever-more-vicious targeting of Saudi oil infrastructure; the Saudi military; and Saudi civilians.

Can Trump Still Avoid War with Iran?

President Donald Trump does not want war with Iran. America does not want war with Iran. Even the Senate Republicans are advising against military action in response to that attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities.

“All of us (should) get together and exchange ideas, respectfully, and come to a consensus — and that should be bipartisan,” says Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch of Idaho.

When Lindsey Graham said the White House had shown “weakness” and urged retaliatory strikes for what Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calls Iran’s “act of war,” the president backhanded his golfing buddy:

“It’s very easy to attack, but if you ask Lindsey … ask him how did going into the Middle East … work out. And how did Iraq work out?”

China's Giant $400 Billion Iran Investment Complicates U.S. Options

Amidst historic U.S. – Iran tensions, Beijing is doubling-down on its strategic partnership with Tehran, ignoring U.S. efforts to isolate the Islamic Republic from global markets. Following an August visit by Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Beijing, the two countries agreed to update a 25-year program signed in 2016, to include an unprecedented $400 billion of investment in the Iranian economy – sanctions be damned.

What Trump’s Missteps on Iran Have Wrought

The drone attack on Saudi Arabia oil facilities on September 14 is jolting the entire Middle East, the latest incident in a months-long battle between the Trump Administration and Iran. Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed credit for the devastating attack that shut down half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blames Iran for the attack, while Iran has categorically denied it.

Let’s not forget that the Trump Administration started this low-level war by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear accord. The U.N. Security Council voted unanimously to ratify the agreement, so the U.S. stands in violation of UN resolutions and international law.

Netanyahu praises Trump as US announces sanctions hike on Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday praised US President Donald Trump’s announcement he would slap new sanctions on Iran.

“Iran’s aggression has increased of late, including in the Gulf and this is precisely the time to increase pressure and sanctions. I am pleased President Trump has done exactly this,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.

Who Needs John Bolton? Trump’s Neocons Are Determined to Go to War Against Iran

Following John Bolton’s departure from the White House, Saudi Arabia’s oil facility was attacked by drones operated by the Houthi rebels of Yemen. Trump and his Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo once again claimed that it was the Iranians who committed the attack without any supporting evidence.

Make no mistake, the neocons are still in the White House and they want a war. The neocons or the neoconservatives want the U.S. to promote its form of democracy throughout the world and want to ensure its interests takes center stage in international relations through its military power. The neocons made a comeback with the George W. Bush Jr. administration and their allies in the Middle East including Israel and Saudi Arabia who orchestrated the September 11th attacks. President George W. Bush Jr. gave a speech while the U.S. population was still in shock and named the Axis of Evil which was North Korea, Iran and Iraq.

New national security adviser recently considered war to free prisoners in Iran

O’Brien replaces the ousted hawk John Bolton.

He does not face Senate confirmation and will be Trump’s fourth national security adviser in three years.

Strikingly, just days ago in Israel, O’Brien contemplated war with Iran over Americans imprisoned in that country.

His promotion comes in the very week US-Iranian tensions have ratcheted to their highest point during Trump’s tenure.

The president, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Saudi Arabia are now pointing fingers at Iran over the recent attack on two Saudi oil refineries.

Escobar: How The Houthis Overturned The Chessboard

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Saker blog,

The Yemeni Shiite group’s spectacular attack on Abqaiq raises the distinct possibility of a push to drive the House of Saud from power.

Houthi striking capability – from drone swarms to ballistic missile attacks – has been improving remarkably for the past year or so. It’s not by accident that the UAE saw which way the geopolitical and geoeconomic winds were blowing: Abu Dhabi withdrew from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s vicious war against Yemen and now is engaged in what it describes as a “peace-first” strategy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That it was not expected that the Houthis could ever fight back, and in such an intensely destructive fashion, may have been the most spectacular failure of imagination, on the part of both American, and Saudi, intelligence.

Unfortunately, this moment of awareness has not stopped the US and Saudi Arabia from continuing to blame Iran (a convenient whipping boy, due to its oil wealth (and a product which they refuse to sell in US dollars) and general stability in the region.

I would like to politely suggest that both countries examine the statement of a Russian diplomat at the end of a consortium, stating the following:

Iran won't be alone if the US attacks it

This was stated by Iranian diplomat Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

I would strongly caution both the US and Saudi Arabia that this came down from the "big guy" himself, in Russian Politics, President Putin; I would also strongly caution both countries, that Putin meant what Kabulov stated.

Pompeo inadvertently admitted the Iran crisis is a 'direct result' of Trump's actions

As Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday defended the Trump administration's strategy toward Iran, he inadvertently acknowledged the recent tensions were a "direct result" of the president's decision to pull the US from the 2015 nuclear deal.
Pompeo was trying to make the case that things would be worse if the president hadn't withdrawn from the deal, which he called an "enormous failure."
But one former US official told Insider, "There is a direct line you can draw from Trump's violation of the Iran deal and the risk of conflict today."

Iran’s foreign minister threatens ‘all-out war’

Iran’s foreign minister warned Thursday of an “all-out war” if the US or Saudi Arabia launch military strikes in retaliation for the drone-and-missile attacks on Saudi oil sites.

Javad Zarif told CNN that Tehran hoped to avoid conflict, adding that the country was willing to hold discussions with its regional rivals Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

But the top Iranian diplomat rejected negotiations with Washington unless the US provided full sanctions relief as promised under the 2015 nuclear deal, which President Trump pulled out of last year.

Will Americans Let Trump Start World War III for Saudi Arabia and Israel?

On Saturday, September 14th, two oil refineries and other oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia were hit and set ablaze by 18 drones and 7 cruise missiles, dramatically slashing Saudi Arabia’s oil production by half, from about ten million to five million barrels per day. On September 18, the Trump administration, blaming Iran, announced it was imposing more sanctions on Iran and voices close to Donald Trump are calling for military action. But this attack should lead to just the opposite response: urgent calls for an immediate end to the war in Yemen and an end to US economic warfare against Iran.

Trump's new national security adviser is the anti-Bolton in style only

Robert O’Brien might be just as hawkish as John Bolton, but he is "certainly not as pugilistic," according to people close to the president's new adviser.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Just terrific; the style of negotiations with Iran, if the US ever gets there, will be different; but unfortunately, the substance remains the same.

What President Trump needs, is for another major, bloody, attack against Saudi Arabia, with both Saudi Arabian and US military down; and no matter if the Houthis say (which they have already done, BTW: SAUDI OIL ATTACKS: IRAN-BACKED HOUTHIS WARN FOREIGNERS TO AVOID OIL INSTALLATIONS, THREATEN MORE STRIKES AT ANY MOMENT

But the question that begs to be asked, and answered, is why the best and the brightest American weaponry and defensive systems could not have thwarted these alleged "primitive attacks" on Saudi oil infrastructure, with all the money spent on them?!?

If I were a Middle Eastern country, or a country anywhere in the world here US weaponry is sold, these incidents would definitely have me deeply concerned about making such a purchase of US weaponry in the future, considering the absolute, epic fail of these weapons, when Saudi Arabia's military desperately needed them to function.

NETANYAHU CANCELS UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY APPEARANCE OVER ELECTION RESULTS

There will be no speech by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly that opens next week, as Tuesday’s inconclusive election results has forced him to cancel plans to fly to New York, address the world body, and meet US President Donald Trump.

Instead, Netanyahu will be in the thick of coalition negotiations. This will be the first time in nine years that he will not address the parley. Foreign Minister Israel Katz will do so instead.

According to the UN schedule, Netanyahu was listed as the 12th speaker on September 26, the third and final day of speeches by world leaders. He was scheduled to come to the podium to speak just three slots after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Whatever else is happening, Netanyahu can be counted upon to do everything humanly possible to hang on to whatever power he may be able cling to, through creating coalitions, and presenting himself, as the only viable principal who can make things happen; the rest of the world (including a UN he disregards entirely, and for which he has contempt in the extreme)can go hang!!

Iran to Avoid US Sanctions by Bypassing SWIFT, Ditching Dollar in Trade Transactions

The international SWIFT network banned Iranian banks from its system soon after the US imposed sanctions against the country in November 2018. The ban was preceded by Washington's threats to slap sanctions on the financial network too if it were to continue working with the Islamic Republic's financial institutions.

Iranian Central Bank (CBI) head Abdolnaser Hemmati said in a statement on 18 September that the country is planning to evade American economic sanctions by switching entirely away from the dollar to national currencies in mutual trade and by bypassing SWIFT. Such steps have been discussed with Turkey and Russia.

Saudi Military: Attack on Saudi Aramco Facilities Were "Unquestionably Sponsored by Iran"

Earlier in the day, Saudi ambassador to London Prince Khalid bin Bander bin Sultan Al Saud said that the recent attack on the kingdom's oil facilities was "almost certainly" backed by Iran.

On Wednesday, the Saudi Defence Ministry organised a news conference to show journalists what it describes as an Iranian cruise missile and Delta Wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

"The investigation has shown that the drone’s type is Delta Wing, and the information obtained by the ministry indicates the drone’s technology is Iranian," the department's spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said.

Aramco Attacks An "Act Of War" By Iran: Pompeo After Arriving In Jeddah

What's the end game here? Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has just arrived in Jeddah for talks with Saudi leaders over a response to the weekend attacks on two of the kingdom's major oil facilities.

After a prior press conference by the Saudi Defense Ministry where it for the first time assigned public blame on Iran for the attacks which initially knocked out half of the kingdom's daily oil output, saying the air attacks "unquestionably" had Iranian state sponsorship, Pompeo has announced the Aramco attacks constitute an "act of war" by Iran.

Saudi Arabia To Provide Evidence That Could Start US Strikes On Iran

Saudi Arabia said it would produce evidence on Wednesday linking regional rival Tehran to an unprecedented attack on its oil industry that Washington believes originated from Iran in a dangerous escalation of Middle East frictions.

But Tehran again denied involvement in the Sept. 14 attacks on oil plants, including the world’s biggest crude processing facility, that initially knocked out half of Saudi production.

“They want to impose maximum … pressure on Iran through slander,” Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said according to state media. “We don’t want conflict in the region … Who started the conflict?” he said, blaming Washington and its Gulf allies for war in Yemen.

Only the Coalition of the Foolish Wants a War With Iran

If you want to identify the most reckless powers in our world today, look no further than Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.

byVijay PrashadThe reaction from Iran has been calm. The government in Tehran has decided not to cower beneath the storm clouds from Washington. It threatens Canada with its own sanctions if the Canadians do not release seized Iranian assets. An oil tanker that was carrying diesel to the United Arab Emirates has been seized by the Iranians on the grounds of smuggling. Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani told the Syria Summit in Ankara, Turkey, that there can be no stability in Syria as long as U.S. troops remain there. Iran refuses to blink. It has taken the position that it must stand strong and call the U.S. bluff.

This is a dangerous bluff.

But it is also a calculated one.

This Wasn’t How Trump’s War on Iran Was Supposed to Go

The U.S. thought it was cleverly choking the regime, but now it's clear that 'maximum pressure' goes both ways.
The Saturday attack on Saudi oil facilities, which took 5.7 million barrels of oil per day offline, is the escalation that wasn’t supposed to happen. Now that it has happened, we enter perilous new terrain.
In the meantime, Trump is in a tight spot of his own making, with neither escalation nor retrenchment looking to be attractive options. The president may have outsmarted himself this time.
The whole drama, in a nutshell, is just the old-fashioned hubris of the imperial power, issuing its edicts, and genuinely surprised when it encounters resistance, even though such resistance confirms for the wunderkinds their view of the enemy’s malevolence.

Is Trump trapped? That is the question of the hour.

Donald Trump says he has asked for new sanctions against Iran after strike on Saudi oil facilities despite hawks calling for military action

President Donald Trump tweeted that he has ordered the Treasury to 'substantially' increase economic sanctions on Iran, after huddling with his security advisors to get military and other options.

The president's response against the already heavily-sanctioned Iran comes after he received options including military ones from his security advisors – while fending off outside pressure from a key political ally that Tehran viewed his response to its downing of a U.S. drone in June as a sign of 'weakness.'

'I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to substantially increase Sanctions on the country of Iran!' Trump tweeted.

Russia and Iran build powerful alliance countering USA and Saudi Arabia

The situation on the world market of oil is reminiscent of a game of tennis with the participation of four players. Russia and Iran play in tandem to raise oil prices, while the tandem of the United States and Saudi Arabia has a goal to cause oil prices to collapse. The players realize that the winner will dictate rules of the game in world politics.

Will Trump Take Neocon Bait and Attack Iran Over Saudi Strike?

The recent attacks on Saudi oil facilities by Yemeni Houthi forces demonstrate once again that an aggressive foreign policy often brings unintended consequences and can result in blowback. In 2015 Saudi Arabia attacked its neighbor, Yemen, because a coup in that country ousted the Saudi-backed dictator. Four years later Yemen is in ruins, with nearly 100,000 Yemenis killed and millions more facing death by starvation. It has been rightly called the worst humanitarian catastrophe on the planet.

But rich and powerful Saudi Arabia did not defeat Yemen. In fact, the Saudis last month asked the Trump Administration to help facilitate talks with the Houthis in hopes that the war, which has cost Saudi Arabia tens of billions of dollars, could finally end without Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman losing too much face. Washington admitted earlier this month that those talks had begun.

Trump orders 'substantial increase' in sanctions on Iran

This lover of Israel is raising on a busted flush.

President Trump announced Wednesday that he had ordered a “substantial increase” in sanctions on Iran.

“I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to substantially increase Sanctions on the country of Iran!” he wrote on Twitter.

The move comes after Saturday’s drone strikes on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, which the country said had disrupted about half of the kingdom's oil capacity, or 5% of the daily global oil supply.

US Defense Secretary Mike Esper said on Monday that the US military is preparing a response to the attack on major Saudi Arabia oil facilities, AFP reported.

Credibility Crisis: No One Believes Iran Attacked Saudi Arabia

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was sure of who was responsible for the attack on Saudi oil facilities shortly after the attack. It appears oil markets just heard that one - since the early Saturday attacks on Saudi Aramco facilities talk of war has been on the table, especially given President Trump's initial "locked and loaded" threat - however it now seems certain there will be no war, given the president has announced new sanctions.

"I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to substantially increase Sanctions on the country of Iran!" Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.

Saudi Arabia Says It Has "Material Evidence" Tying Iran To Aramco Attack

Saudi Arabia revealed yesterday that, contrary to its initial estimates, Aramco should be able to restore oil production to 100% capacity by the end of the month. And on Wednesday morning, the kingdom's Defense Ministry said it was planning a press conference to present "material evidence" purportedly linking Tehran to the unprecedented attack on the Kingdom's oil infrastructure.

The country's defense ministry will hold a news conference later in the day laying out new evidence. This follows reports from the US claiming that the roughly 20 missiles and drones used in the attack had been traced back to a 'launch site' in southern Iran.

Tehran has denied involvement in the Sept. 14 attacks, while the Houthi rebels in nearby Yemen have claimed credit. But Washington and Riyadh have adamantly blamed Iran, whom they have blamed for several 'attacks' in the region since the start of the year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Every time, no matter the administration, I see people from that administration fly off to any destination, as are Mike Pompeo, and other US officials, who remain unnamed, to add "gravitas" to a set of charges apt to bring a third nation a bouquet of lead and depleted uranium , I get very, very nervous.

So, Secretary of State Pompeo, a word, please; with all the wars in which the US Military is enmeshed, those we know about, and those we do not really know about, the people of this country do not want to see our military enmeshed in yet another war with which to placate Israel, which could well go "mammary glands vertical" yet again.

And sir, just in case you are suffering, as do many in the Bowels of Power in DC, from that horrific illness called SMD, "Selective Memory Disorder", I would like to remind you very gently, about a statement a Russian diplomat made toward the end of this June: IRAN WILL NOT BE ALONE, IF THE US ATTACKS

Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, made this statement at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

Secretary of State Pompeo, I would almost wager a bet that this man doesn't even fart without Vlad Putin's permission; so you can bet real money, that what he said was a direct statement from Russia's President Putin.

War with Russia over Iran?!? Sir, I would like to hope (and pray), that this is precisely NOT where this administration is taking us, but it sure as hell looks like it.

Unless President Trump suspends the Constitution and Bill of Rights and declares Martial Law, it will be an election killer, if an election will be held at all in 2020, and will smartly assist the Delirious Dementocrats to recover brilliantly from their "Withering Wednesday" moment, created today, when mega-Demo Contributor, Ed Buck, was arrested by the police.

Create war?!? Lose the 2020 election; find another way to prevent Saudi Arabia from getting hit and hurt with allegedly "primitive" weapons?!? Trump still has the chance to win.

It is, sir, just that simple.,

You are welcome, Mr. Secretary.

Moscow has had its fill of Netanyahu. He’s openly mocking Trump at international forums, first offering to sell the U.S. Russia’s hypersonic missiles at the G-20 and then offering to sell S-400 missile defense systems to the Saudis to protect their people from outside actors.
All with tongue firmly implanted in cheek, but like with all good comedy a core of undeniable truth.

Iran Sends Memo to US Gov't via Swiss Mission to Warn against Any Reaction to Aramco Incident

Iran in its memo rejected involvement in offensives on the Saudi oil installations on Saturday, condemning US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other American officials' allegations.

The memo also warned that if any attack is launched against Iran, the Islamic Republic's reaction will be rapid and crushing and will likely target more extensive areas than the origin of the attack.

Yemen’s Ansarullah movement announced on Saturday that its drones had successfully attacked two oil plants in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil industry, stressing that the attacks were a firm response to Riyadh’s relentless bombardment of Yemen.

How Russian And Iran Beat Their Opponents' Strategies

Over the last decades Russia and Iran both needed to develop means to protect themselves against an ever growing threat from the United States and its allies. Both found unique ways to build deterrence that fit their situation.
Neither the U.S. nor its allies reacted to those developments by adopting their strategies or military means. It is only recently that the U.S. has woken up to the real situation. The loss of half its oil export capacity may finally wake up Saudi Arabia. Most other U.S. allies are still asleep.

When NATO extended into east Europe and the U.S. left the Anti-Ballistic-Missile Treaty Russia announced that it would develop countermeasures to keep the U.S. deterred from attacking it. Ten years later Russia delivered on its promise.
Iran, in contrast, developed its weapons along an asymmetric strategy just as Russia did.

NIMMO: CUI BONO, ISRAEL, AND THE ATTACK ON SAUDI OIL

If we consult a map, we discover Israel is situated to the northwest of Saudi Arabia. Iran is in the east and Iraq to the north. Because cruise missiles and drones have the capability of changing direction, we do not have a good idea where the missiles came from and the party responsible for launching them.

For the US, this is not a problem. It is now habituated to telling lies, releasing misinformation, and disseminating propaganda associated with false flag attacks. Much of what it reports is believed without question by millions of Americans. The state describes this mass credulity and inability to question authority as “patriotism.”

The Saudi-Iran Conflict Stops Just Short of Full-On War. For Now.

On Saturday, a large-scale drone attack struck a key Saudi oil facility, disrupting about half the kingdom’s oil capacity.

The strike resulted in the suspension of millions of dollars’ worth of oil and gas output, and caused a spike in global energy prices. U.S. officials are pointing the finger at Iran. While the strike was more sophisticated and damaging than previous attacks, open military conflict with Iran is still probably—though by no means certainly—off the table. The question is, how many more of these incidents can the region’s uneasy status quo withstand?

How were low-tech drones able to pierce Saudi Arabian security? Defence system called into question despite country spending $65bn on arms last year including US radar and Patriot missiles - as mocking Putin says they should have bought Russian.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr.President; a word, please: can you tell both the American people, and the Saudi people, specifically why these US systems, were absolutely impotent, to thwart this attack?!?

This result of this "epic fail" by American weapons makers, is one which is going to have governments scrambling to buy from the Russians, because their s-300 and S-400 systems, actually do what the manual says they will do.

The only possible thing I can think of, as to why these systems didn't work, is that the US technicians who installed them, were ordered to install them so improperly, to insure that they wouldn't work, so that any attack against these facilities would be the springboard for military action against Iran.

Mr. President, in this hideous rush to war against Iran, I would caution utter restrain, and incredible forensic work by both the US military and civilian specialists; a fact-centric, iron-clad case is necessary, because the American people will not tolerate yet another failed military misadventure for control over more oil.

CHINA WARNS TRUMP NOT TO BELIEVE WARHAWK “CONSPIRACY THEORIES” THAT IRAN WAS BEHIND ATTACK ON SAUDI ARABIA

SOURCE: SUMMIT.NEWS
China has warned President Trump that he is being manipulated by warhawks into believing “conspiracy theories” that Tehran was behind the attack on Saudi oil facilities and that any “revenge attack” on Iran could cause the Middle East to “spiral out of control.”

The warning was contained in an editorial posted by the Global Times, which is widely recognized as a Communist Party mouthpiece.

A drone strike against two Saudi oil facilities by Houthi rebels on Saturday took out 5% of the world’s oil supply, but U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo immediately blamed Tehran for the attack.

In the Global Times piece, Beijing asserts that there is no evidence Iran was responsible and that, “US military revenge against Iran will lead the Middle East to spiral out of control.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

SOMEONE at the Global Times in Beijing must be reading WRH!!! :-)

But light banter aside, everyone who cares about this President, and his agenda, must dissuade him from attacking Iran, and particularly right now.

A top Russian official made the statement, at the end of a conference in June, which stated the following:

Iran will not stand alone, if the US attacks. “Iran will withstand this type of fight and Iran is not alone,” Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, said at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

I am betting that this guy doesn't fart without Putin's permission; and if he made such a statement, you can bet your sweet bippy, that he is echoing Putin's stance here.

War with Russia over Iran?!?

I would like to politely suggest to President Trump, that he, and his advisors look very deeply into the possibility that should Iran be attacked, Russia will come to its aid; we have seen just how brilliantly Russia's military hardware and weaponry have performed in Syria.

Please, Mr. President, don't go there.

And what about you, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner?!? How are you going to come down on this issue?!? You two are among the only people President Trump trusts implicitly, to guide him on foreign and domestic policy?

Are you going to attempt to insure that Israel, and Benyamin Netanyahu get the scenario they want (particularly in light of the reality that Israel has national elections today, and Netanyahu is fighting the political fight of his life) by encouraging President Trump to start this war, and perhaps even as early as, perhaps, today?!?

The next 72 hours will tell much, about the direction which you have counseled him to take; and as a Christian Pacifist activist, I am praying that you guide him in the right direction, which means to express restraint; encourage fact-finding here; and figuring out what concrete steps he can take to keep Saudi Arabia safe, without going to war.

Iranian Drones Launched from Iraq Carried Out Attacks on Saudi Oil Plants

The strikes which paralysed the Saudi oil industry on Saturday morning, forcing it to halve its output of crude oil, were made by Iranian drones launched from Hashd al-Shaabi bases in southern Iraq, a senior Iraqi intelligence official has told Middle East Eye.

The attacks on Abqaiq and Khurais, two key Aramco facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia, were in retaliation for Israeli drone strikes on Hashd al-Shaabi bases and convoys in August, which were co-ordinated and funded by the Saudis, the official said.

“The latest attack comes for two reasons: another message from Iran to USA and its allies that as long as its siege on Iran continues no one will have stability in the region. However, the second more direct reason is a strong Iranian revenge for the recent Israeli attacks by drones launched from SDF-controlled areas in Syria against pro-Iranian Hashd bases,” he said.

What You’re Not Being Told About the Saudi Oil Attack

Iraq categorically denied any involvement after an anonymous Iraqi intelligence official told Middle East Eye that the strikes were launched from Iraqi territory and were in retaliation for Saudi-funded Israeli drone strikes in August on Iranian-trained forces in Syria.

MBS tells Trump Saudi 'willing and able' to respond to attacks

Saudi Arabia's crown prince has told US President Donald Trump the kingdom was "willing and able" to respond to the latest attacks claimed by Yemen's Houthi rebels on its oil facilities, state media reported.

"The kingdom is willing and able to confront and deal with this terrorist aggression," Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ( MBS) told Trump during a phone call on Saturday, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

MBS was referring to drone attacks earlier in the day on two state-owned Saudi Aramco oil facilities, which triggered enormous fires and disrupted global energy supplies.

The Unending War on Persia: How a false flag bombing in Saudi Arabia was carried out to label Iran a terrorist state

Why Robert Mueller Was Selected To Be The Special Prosecutor

It all began with the 1996 bombing of the Khobar Towers apartment complex in the Saudi city of Khobar, which killed 19 U.S. military, who worked at the Dharan air base three miles away.

That incident became the lynchpin of the accusation by the Saudi royal family, the U.S. State Department, and the CIA, that Iran is the foremost state sponsor of terrorism.

US Officials: Aramco Attack Came From "Iranian Soil"; Pompeo To Release 'Evidence'

Despite US officials repeatedly over the weekend claiming they were "certain" attacks came from Iraqi soil, likely from Iran-backed militias acting as proxies, they've now changed their tune to line up behind the latest Saudi military assessment.

US officials have told FOX that the attacks originated from Iranian soil, which is the first time such a direct charge has been issued since the early Saturday morning crisis.

US defense failure… Why Washington has to blame Iran over Saudi attacks

The devastating blitz on Saudi Arabia’s oil industry has led to a flurry of accusations from US officials blaming Iran. The reason for the finger-pointing is simple: Washington’s spectacular failure to protect its Saudi ally.
The Trump administration needs to scapegoat Iran for the latest military assault on Saudi Arabia because to acknowledge that the Houthi rebels mounted such an audacious assault on the oil kingdom’s heartland would be an admission of American inadequacy.

“Drone Attack” on Saudi Oil – Who Benefits?

By Tony Cartalucci

Huge blazes were reported at two oil facilities in Saudi Arabia owned by Aramco. While Saudi authorities refused to assign blame, media outlets like the BBC immediately began insinuating either Yemen’s Houthis or Iran were responsible.

The BBC in its article, “Saudi Arabia oil facilities ablaze after drone strikes,” would inject toward the top of its article:

"Iran-aligned Houthi fighters in Yemen have been blamed for previous attacks."

Following an ambiguous and evidence-free description of the supposed attacks, the BBC even included an entire section titled, “Who could be behind the attacks?” dedicated to politically expedient speculation aimed ultimately at Tehran...

3 US Targets in Region Attacked If IRGC Downing of Spy Drone Responded – IRGC Commander By wmw_admin on September 16, 2019

As tensions mount over alleged Iranian involvement in the attack on the Saudi oil facility, the statements from the IRGC commander below are meant as a warning to America. In other words General Amir Ali Hajizadeh is saying to Trump, mess with us and you will pay a heavy price.

US Bases surrounding Iran. All within easy reach of Iran’s surface-to-surface missiles. Click to enlarge

Will Trump heed these warnings? Or will he comply with the demands of the Saudis, the Zionists and U.S. hawks and sacrifice more U.S. lives needlessly?
We write that because things are not unfolding quite as Anglo-American-Zionist elite had planned. So instead of an apocalyptic conflict, which would enable them impose martial law across the West and expand their global dominion, a military clash with Iran might entail a series of limited, lesser engagements.

Saudi oil attacks: US says intelligence shows Iran involved

The United States has issued satellite images and cited intelligence to back its allegation Iran was behind attacks on major Saudi oil facilities.

Iran denies involvement in Saturday's air attacks, which were claimed by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen.

But unnamed US officials speaking to US and international media say the direction and extent of the attacks cast doubt on Houthi involvement.

The incident has cut global oil supplies by 5% and prices have soared.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Where, please, is the hard evidence Americans can actually trust, rather the bits and pieces of cherry picked "intelligence and accusations" against Iran, which are the only things the US government has been able to produce?!?

And please remember; this is precisely the same Federal Government which told you that Iraq's Saddam Hussein "had weapons of mass destruction", and that Syria's Bashar al Assad "was using chemical weapons against his own people".

They lied to pursue various geopolitical/financial objectives; with Iran one of the premier oil producers in the Middle East, how can we trust that they are not lying again?!?

The short answer is, absolutely not.

U.S. Prepares To Strike Iran As The Middle East Braces For War

President Trump is using the phrase “locked and loaded” to describe our current stance toward Iran, and the big news networks appear to believe that some sort of U.S. military action could be imminent.

We just witnessed the worst attack on Saudi oil production facilities in history, and it would seem to be extremely unlikely that the U.S. and Saudi Arabia would allow this to pass with no response. Houthi rebels in Yemen have publicly taken responsibility for the attacks, but as you will see below, U.S. officials have already completely rejected that explanation for a variety of reasons. At this point, we are being told that the attacks probably originated either from Iranian-backed Shia rebels in southern Iraq or from Iran itself. And if the U.S. strikes back by conducting airstrikes inside Iran, that could literally cause World War 3 to erupt. We are so close to a major war breaking out, but most Americans are still not paying attention.

US Senator calls on Trump to bomb Iran to ‘break the regime’s back’

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has called on the U.S. administration to send a message to Iran by bombing the Islamic Republic’s oil refineries.

“Iranian supported Houthi rebels who attacked Saudi oil refineries is yet another example of how Iran is wreaking havoc in the Middle East. The Iranian regime is not interested in peace – they’re pursuing nuclear weapons and regional dominance,” Graham tweeted on Saturday.

U.S. OFFICIALS BUILDING A CASE AGAINST IRAN AFTER MASSIVE ATTACK ON SAUDI

Jerusalem Post Middle East

Attack on Saudi was large and sophisticated, satellite images show, and involved numerous drones.

Satellite images released by US officials on Sunday showed the extent of damage on Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq oil processing facility and at Khurais oil field. The images show 17 impact points on key petroleum infrastructure, including four hits on liquefied natural gas storage tanks.

The images reveal extreme precision by the drones or cruise missiles which struck the oil facilities. ABC News reported on Monday that officials have ascertained that a dozen cruise missiles and 20 drones were fired in the attack. This degree of sophistication is beyond the ability of Yemen’s Houthi rebels, notwithstanding their claim of responsibility.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I find it interesting - and more than slightly ironic - that it is the US government "building a case" against Iran, and not the Saudi government.

One has to wonder if both the Saudi Government in Riyadh, and Crown Prince Bin Salman, have been given a deadline before which they must respond to Trump's ultimatum regarding identifying Tehran as the culprit here.

And as the Second Cynic in Chief of this website (my Sweetheart being the First Cynic in Chief),I have to wonder if such a deadline... might well be coordinated to dovetail, with the moment Israeli polls are open, and in which Prime Minister Netanyahu is fighting for his political life.

Armageddon on the Horizon?

Trump supporters should let Trump hear from them as he is about to commit the United States to a war of Israel’s choosing. A mutual defense treaty between the US and Israel would give Israel the ability to commit the US to a war in Israel’s behalf.

Remember history. It was British prime minister Chamberlain’s guarantee to Poland that started World War II. The idiot British lost control over their own policy and gave it to a crazed and irresponsible Polish military dictatorship.

The attack on the Saudi oil fields that Trump and Israel are blaming on Iran is almost certainly an attack by Israel. The attack is being used to start a war with Iran.

Iran Rejects US Accusation Over Saudi Drone Attacks

When Saudi oil refineries were struck by a drone attack on Saturday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was quick to declare Iran responsible. This was par for the course for Pompeo, who has long been the driving force in pushing the US toward military action against Iran.

Iran rejected the accusation, saying that the US allegations were “meaningless” and just meant to justify military action. Officials also presented it as a continuation of US “deceit” about Iran.

Yemen's military warns foreigners to leave Saudi oil plants

Yemen's military has warned foreigners in Saudi Arabia to leave Aramco's oil processing plants, saying they are still a target and can be attacked "at any moment."

The warning came after Houthis and their allies in the Yemeni army deployed as many as 10 drones to bomb Abqaiq and Khurais oil facilities run by the Saudi state-owned oil company before dawn Saturday.

Spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, General Yahya Sare'a, said in a tweet Monday that the attacks in the kingdom's eastern region had been carried out by drones with normal and jet engines.

He said Saudi Arabia should stop its "aggression and blockade on Yemen," or see the Yemeni army hit the kingdom "anywhere and anytime" it chooses.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even though the Butcher of Yemen I(Prince Bin Salman) has made the statement publicly, that the Saudis can handle these attacks on their own MBS tells Trump Saudi 'willing and able' to respond to attacks, this statement by Houthi rebels, telling foreign workers to get out of Saudi Arabia ASAP, most probably means that another attack is imminent.

Should such a scenario happen, the Israeli government will be high fiving themselves, big-time; because now, there is a proxy army to take down Iran, and not a single drop of blood of Israeli blood will be shed.

Should it happen, I would strongly suggest, that the US will be joining forces with Saudi Arabia, and start bombing Iran, with a potential decap strike against Tehran.

I would, however, suggest to the Adult in the Room in the Bowels of Power, in Saudi Arabia; Israel; or the US, that such a move would trigger Russia to enter the fray on Iran's side, and that... would completely change the math of any potential outcome.

Drone Attack on Saudi Oil Field Seen as ‘Pearl Harbor’ Moment

For many of the national security teams that monitor threats on the U.S., the apparent drone strike Saturday on the heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil production facilities was the realization of their worst fears.

Based on early reports, multiple relatively inexpensive drone devices were able to pierce Saudi defenses in a way that a traditional air force could not: flying long distances to drop potent bombs that apparently set vast portions of the Saudi petroleum infrastructure ablaze.

The attack, for which Houthi rebels battling Saudi Arabia in Yemen took credit, underscored the fears raised by U.S. security officials and experts in terrorism about the rapid evolution of technologies allowing expanded unmanned flight.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To the author of this article, I would strongly and politely like to suggest that these actions, if in fact taken by the Houthis, are not Saudi Arabia "Pearl Harbor Moment."

It is, rather, retaliation for the US aided and abetted Saudi war against Yemen, which has assassinated thousands of Yemeni children, women, and the medically fragile elderly; I am not justifying the violence here; I am simply pointing out how this may well have been the real motivation for the attack, if, as has been stated, Houthi rebels actually pulled this off.

And if the US and Saudi intelligence infrastructure were so myopic, that the heads of these agencies, never thought that the Houthis would ever retaliate in this way, they need to be handed their collective hats.

Iran To Release UK-Flagged Tanker As Rick Perry "Wholeheartedly Condemns" Attack On Saudi Arabia

Washington has blamed Iran for this weekend's attack on Saudi Arabia's oil production facilities, which are expected to cut Saudi oil output in half until repairs can be completed. The attack was purportedly carried out by Yemen's Houthi rebels, who have a long history of launching attacks on Saudi soil. But President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have placed blame for the attacks squarely on the Iranians. As we noted over the weekend, the timing of the attack is suspicious, coming as the kingdom renews its push to float 5% of Aramco in what's expected to be the largest-ever IPO. The offering would benefit from higher oil prices. Many have questioned why Saudi Arabia's missile defense capabilities failed to stop the attack.

Iran has denied any responsibility for the attack.

This weekend's attack wiped out 5% of the world's oil supplies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I simply have to ask; would Iranian leadership do something so incredibly stupid that it could cause an outcry which could actually lead to a shooting war here?!?

The short answer is, they would not; these attacks are being "stage managed", very carefully, to give the "illusion" that the attacks were actual provocations by the Iranian against Saudi Arabia, and that there is no other explanation.

Folks, I hate to break it to you; but this week is shaping up as a lousy one for peace, and honorable, reasonable negotiations, and reduced tensions in both the Middle East and the world.

Iran War Imminent? Trump Says US "Locked And Loaded" To Respond To Saudi Attack

Just as the price of oil was settling down from its record surge, it spiked once again, following a tweet by president Trump which has made war with Iran virtually inevitable.

Just before 7pm, Trump tweeted that "Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!"

Setting aside the implicit admission that US foreign policy in the middle-east is now inexplicably run by Saudi Arabia, what is far more troubling is Trump's statement that the US military is "locked and loaded", and set to attack the country which instigated the attack on Saudi facilities, which according to Mike Pompeo was not Yemen, and its Houthi rebels, but rather Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What concerns me the most greatly, is the rapidity with which this scenario is being shoved down the world's collective gullet, even though Houthi spokespeople have claimed claim responsibility for these strikes.

Various elements in the bowels of power, both in Tel Aviv, and the US, wants to see this happen, and quickly, perhaps as a misdirection for Israeli voters when they go to the polls on the 17th.

It is absolutely not the Iranians who benefit from these charges; it is absolutely not the Saudi monarchy, or people, who benefit from these acts.

But the one country whose leadership does benefit, and that... is Israel's current leadership.

With its national elections coming up tomorrow, and Benjamin Netanyahu struggling to insure that the Israeli public will vote him in again, and that is Benjamin Netanyahu, showing how "butch" he is, by demanding that the US go to war with Iran, and immediately.

Would the IDF and Mossad conjure a "false flag" attack against Saudi Arabia's largest petroleum refining plants, ahead of their election, to make Netanyahu "look more appealing" to his voters, because he got the US to rain literal fire and brimstone on Iran?!?

Unfortunately, the short answer is, HELL, yes.

I highly suspect that the Butcher of Yemen is feeling at least some heat, as Trump challenges him to make a statement that Saudi Arabia were attacked by Iran, and quickly, even though he may, through his intelligence resources, well know better.

‘Maximum lies’: Iran rejects US’ claim it attacked Saudi oil facilities, warns it’s ready for war

Iran has rebuffed US accusations of launching a drone attacks that cut Saudi Arabia’s oil output in half. A senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander, meanwhile, has warned Washington that Tehran is ready for war.

Allegations that Iran was behind the drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities are “unsubstantiated” and false, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stated on Sunday. It is a game changer all right. A couple more strikes like this and it will be the end of the House of Saud!

(CNN)The attack on the world's largest oil processing plant early Saturday morning is a dramatic escalation in the confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia -- even if the Iranians didn't fire the drones or missiles responsible.

Several projectiles struck the Abiqaiq plant, starting a series of fires that quickly took out nearly half Saudi's oil production -- 5% of the global daily output -- and sparking fears about the security of the world's oil supplies.
It's unclear when Abiqaiq, which is operated by Saudi giant Aramco, will be fully operational again.

Ready For War': IRGC General Says US Bases, Carriers Close to Iran Are Within Range of Its Missiles

The statement comes as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday blamed Iran for recent drone attacks on Saudi Aramco's oil fields, urging the international community "to publicly and unequivocally condemn Iran’s attacks".

Tehran has always been prepared for a full-fledged war, Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force Chief Amirali Hajizadeh said in a statement on Sunday, just a day after two drone attacks on oilfields in Saudi Arabia, which were claimed by Houthis and blamed by the US and Saudi Arabia on Tehran.

“Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers, at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran, are within the range of our missiles,” Hajizadeh said.

According to Hajizadeh, the Iranian military are ready to target two US bases and one carrier in the event of an armed conflict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh); Admiral Hajizadeh, we understand this.

But what I don't get is, if in fact these are the preparations being made ready for a fight against the US military, why are you broadcasting them to the entire world?!? It would seem to me that, rather than being a declaration for your coming actions, this information is deliberate disinformation, to prevent the US (and possibly Israel) from knowing what your true intentions are here.

I have to tell you, Admiral Hajizadeh, there are many in this country who detest the US's proclivity toward war, rather than making the choice for hard-one negotiations to bring peace; of course, we are no more in control of the institutions of power in our government... than are the Iranian people with theirs.

De-Dollarization: Europe Joins the Party

By Ronald-Peter Stöferle

The ongoing “World War of Currencies”, as the German journalist Daniel D. Eckert called it, the battle for the future of the world monetary system is not a shallow action film but more like Game of Thrones – a complex series with hundreds of actors and locations, stretching over decades and demanding full concentration from the viewer.

The bottom line is that what has been true for decades still applies. The US dollar continues to enjoy the confidence of markets, governments, and central banks. But faith in the US dollar weakens a little every year. Europe, China, Russia and many small countries set new initiatives every year to make themselves independent. And gold, too, plays a major role in this slow departure from the US dollar. But for the world financial system, none of their currencies offer a viable, fully-fledged alternative to the US dollar yet, which is why any news of the death of the US dollar is definitely exaggerated...

Lawrence Wilkerson Reflects on Similarities Between Push for War In Iraq and Iran

Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who helped sell the ill-fated 2003 Iraq War as Secretary of State Colin Powell’s chief of staff, sees disturbing similarities between the build-up to the Iraq War and current efforts to get the U.S. entangled in a military confrontation with Iran. On June 28, Wilkerson joined journalist Mehdi Hasan’s “Deconstructed” podcast to reflect on the current warmongering efforts of the Trump administration.

As in 2003, Wilkerson said “raw and unfinished” intelligence is currently being used to push pro-war narratives. In the build-up to the Iraq War, he noted, Paul Wolfowitz of the Pentagon’s Office of Special Plans fed Vice President Dick Cheney with unfinished intelligence to help sell the war. Today, Wilkerson observed that “think thanks” such as the Foundation for Defense of Democracies are being similarly used to provide the administration with intelligence and analysis that is unsound, but fits their hawkish policy desires.

He said Iran and China have maintained and strengthened their ties over the past four decades, stressing they now enjoy deep-rooted relations.

PAM ANDERSON, MEGHAN MCCAIN, AND WAR CRIMES

SOURCE: KURTNIMMO.BLOG

Thanks to “public” education (indoctrination) and the corporate media, far too few Americans understand the founders designed a constitutional republic. Instead, we’re told America is a “democracy”—the ideal of mob rule—and we all have a role to play in deciding who will lead the nation.

This is, of course, nonsense. We are spectators in the bleachers of the three-ring circus of national elections. The state is run by and for the sake of the financial class and transnational corporations. The election of handpicked yesmen (and women) every four and eight years is routinely portrayed as the will of the people.

This is why Donald Trump is a big problem—he went around the political class and made grandiose promises (deep-sixed after the election) and this is why so many Americans voted for him and why the state and its professional careerist class of politicians hate him and want him impeached, even dead.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The pattern, here, has been crystal clear and painfully obvious; destabilize a government not to the US government's liking; replace that government with one that is to the US government's liking; invite corporations the US government likes (and from whom top US political leaders get overt, and covert support for their campaigns); allow those corporations to expropriate resources to which they, nor the US government ,have any moral right; and sell those resources only in American dollars.

Wash; rinse; repeat. I mean, folks, could this be any simpler?!?

Julian Assange was simply "the messenger", about the absolute, metastasizing, core-deep rot at the center of the bowels of power in this government, which is why so many people in power hate him, and want to see him dead.

That said, I do not believe that the deep state in this country will "Epsteinize" him; perhaps, as most likely happened with Jack Ruby, Assange may find himself fighting an "incurable disease", and he will die right before any legal process can begin.

And if you are shaking you head that this could not be possible, kindly read the following: Biological Warfare: Is it possible to weaponize cancer? 3 Answers

The article goes on to state: 'Luckily for us, cells that don't play by the rules as per the above can be killed off by natural killer (NK) cells, which can easily lyse (under normal conditions, anyway) cells lacking MHC proteins.

However- and this is where the potential for weaponization in humans comes in- recent research seems to indicate that NK cells can't just lyse something that doesn't display MHC proteins- they also need stimulation from at least one of a wide variety of surface ligands. If someone was able to make a cancer cell line that selectively knocked out both components in the MHC display system and a wide variety of these NK-activating ligands, that cancer cell line would probably be invulnerable to a human immune system.

Of course, you'd still have to go around injecting people with these cells, which is why it'd make for an awful weapon of mass destruction.'

But... what if you only needed a few dead, and to make the origins of their disease... untraceable?!? Please be aware that US alphabet soup agencies are already light years ahead of other civilian research in areas like this.

NETANYAHU ACCUSES IRAN OF SECRET NUCLEAR WEAPONS SITE

SOURCE: ALJAZEERA.COM
Iran was clandestinely developing nuclear weapons but destroyed a secret site after Israel discovered it, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alleged on Monday.

Tehran had been developing atomic arms at a facility in Abadeh, south of Iranian city of Isfahan, said Netanyahu. It was the first time the prime minister identified the site after publicly accusing Iran of building a bomb last year while citing a trove of Iranian documents allegedly stolen by Israeli agents from an Iranian warehouse.

"In this site, Iran conducted experiments to develop nuclear weapons," Netanyahu said, adding after Israeli intelligence found out about it, "they destroyed the site. They just wiped it out".

The prime minister did not provide further details on the alleged experiments, or say when they purportedly were held.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Prime Minister Netanyahu, a word, please.

You have been consistently tossing out absolutely wildly unsubstantiated claims over the past several years, at every forum you could find, in which you have accused Iran, over and over, of having secret nuclear weapons labs.

So please, let the IAEA do its job, and it will; period, end of discussion.

I, and the world, understand that it is precisely 7 days from now, when Israel will have its next General Election, with every seat in the Knesset up for grabs; and this is not lost on people who understand that, due to corruption charges and other issues, you are fighting for your political life, during this period.

And if, sir, you and the IDF are planning any kind of a decap strike against Tehran, to make you look absolutely "war-centric" to the Israeli electorate, I would strongly caution you all to not do this.

I don't know if you, or any of your advisors happened to read the following story, but think you, and your advisors, need to perhaps take another look at it, so I am doing you the courtesy of re-posting: Iran won't be alone, if the US attacks,Russian official says

A US/Israeli decap strike on Iran, with Russia coming in on Iran's side?!?

Sir, I certainly hope that I am not the only one on this planet who cannot sleep at night, considering how such a potential scenario, conveniently right before the Israeli elections, might well unfold.

The other possibility, which would absolutely stun the world, is that you and Iran's Hasan Rouhani, cobble together a peace, trade, and cooperation treaty, forestalling a war between Israel and Iran; of course, that will only happen when pigs discover they can fly, because Israel's government has become superb at manipulating its "fear dynamic" against their own people, so that everything, from killing an unarmed Palestinian child, to creating World War III,can always be justified by that government.

SAUDI ENERGY MINISTER CONFIRMS PLAN TO ENRICH URANIUM

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE
Among the most underreported but explosive stories of the past six months has been growing signs of Saudi Arabia's nuclear ambitions. But now there are new questions over whether the kingdom's future planned two nuclear power reactors will be limited to purely energy-related and peaceful purposes.

On Monday the kingdom's nuclear energy minister said Saudi Arabia wants to enrich uranium for its nuclear power program, Reuters reports — an announcement likely to hinder talks with Washington over American companies' potential help in establishing its atomic energy program.

"The world’s top oil exporter says it wants to use nuclear power to diversify its energy mix, but enrichment also opens up the possibility of military uses of uranium," Reuters noted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Golly Gee, Whillakers!!! What could POSSIBLY go wrong with that!

JUST what the US government desperately (doesn't) need more of right now; yet another Middle Eastern despotic autocracy, in the possession of nuclear weapons!! To potentially use against whom, I wonder?!?

Are the Saudis going to sign the NNPT before they begin this development?!? I sure as hell wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Will they allow IAEA specialists to monitor their work in this direction?!? Again, I would not hold my breath on it.

And even though toward the end of this March, President Trump authorized a secret nuclear power project for Saudi Arabia, US Approves Secret Nuclear Power Deal for Saudi Arabia apparently, it was too little, too late, because an already nuclear-armed Pakistan was in serious dialogue with the Saudis about assisting the Saudis with their nascent nuclear program.

We have a story, datelined March of this year, which sheds some light on this possibility:

How Cash-Strapped Pakistan could get Sucked into Saudi/Iran Rivalry

This article goes on to state:

'Saudi Arabia announced $20 billion in infrastructure and energy investments for the cash-strapped country of 200 million, which is currently on the brink of financial crisis.

Many of the projects are located in Pakistan’s impoverished and restive Balochistan region, which lies along the 565-mile border with Saudi arch-rival Iran.'

Pakistan certainly had the means, the motive, and opportunity here to create a nuclear armed nation in Saudi Arabia.

I sense that President Trump absolutely did not see this coming, and has been totally blindsided by Saudi Arabia's desire for both nuclear energy, and a nuclear bomb; I mean, the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Prince Salman, is one of Trump's BBFs in the Middle East, (along with the Israeli Butcher of Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu), right?!?

Mr. President, I am sorry, but with the US government's giving so much military and monetary aid to Israel when it is illegal, under both the Symington Amendment and The Mann act (requiring that every nuclear nation become a signatory to the NNPT, and have their nuclear sites inspected, as has Iran), demonstrates to the world, incontrovertibly, that US foreign policy in the Middle East, has made an absolute, necrotic hash of their nuclear proliferation doctrine.

This... is a flustercluck, writ large, Mr. President.

I think that the American people have the right to know, just how you intend on "fixing" this, sir; because it appears to me that the nuclear "Genie" has well and truly left the bottle, and cannot be convinced to return.

Iran uses advanced centrifuges, threatens higher enrichment

Iran on Saturday said it now uses arrays of advanced centrifuges prohibited by its 2015 nuclear deal and can enrich uranium “much more beyond” current levels to weapons-grade material, taking a third step away from the accord while warning Europe has little time to offer it new terms.

While insisting Iran doesn’t seek a nuclear weapon, the comments by Behrouz Kamalvandi of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran threatened pushing uranium enrichment far beyond levels ever reached in the country. Prior to the atomic deal, Iran only reached up to 20%, which itself still is only a short technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.

Iran seizes ship with Filipino crew for alleged fuel smuggling in Gulf

Iran's coast guard has seized a foreign tugboat suspected of smuggling fuel in the Gulf and detained its 12 Filipino crew members, state television reported on Saturday.

It said the tugboat was carrying nearly 284,000 litres of diesel. The report did not say what national flag the vessel was flying.

Pompeo: EU Nations Must Take ‘Decisive Actions’ Against Iran

Having visited Brussels earlier this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo took to Twitter Friday to demand that Britain, France, and Germany, the three EU members in the P5+1 nuclear deal with Iran, take “decisive actions” against Iran.

Pompeo objected to Iran’s promise to develop more efficient centrifuges for its civilian enrichment of uranium. Pompeo called this “nuclear extortion” and insisted all civilized nations must stop them.

Foreign Minister Zarif says Iran's commitments reduction allowed under JCPOA

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says the three steps taken by the Islamic Republic to reduce its commitments under a nuclear deal it clinched with world powers in 2015 are legitimate and allowed under the agreement.

Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting acting head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Cornel Feruta in Tehran on Sunday.

Iran's top diplomat said all measures taken “by the Islamic Republic of Iran to reduce its commitments in response to the European sides’ failure to fulfill theirs” conformed to Article 36 of the deal, which is officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iran nuclear chief meets acting IAEA chief, complains of Europe failure to meet JCPOA commitments

Iran’s nuclear chief has criticized the European signatories to a 2015 nuclear agreement for failing to honor their legal commitments to Tehran, adding that the multinational accord is “no one-way street.”

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with Acting Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Cornel Feruta in Tehran on Sunday.

The European Union was supposed to “fill the vacuum” created by the US’s withdrawal last year from the Iran deal, but unfortunately it has failed to keep that promise, Salehi said.

The deal “is no one-way street; it was supposed to be a two-way path,” the senior Iranian official added.

Iran says its oil tanker discharged cargo despite pressures

The spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry says despite all acts of sabotage by the United States, the Iranian tanker Adrian Darya 1 has discharged its oil cargo and is now berthing at a Mediterranean port.

“We had already said that we would sell our oil one way or another and acts of sabotage would have no effect on our plans,” Abbas Mousavi said while speaking to IRNA on Sunday.

The Iranian diplomat noted that measures taken by the United States to confiscate the tanker contravened international regulations, including the law of the sea and regulations of the International Maritime Organization.

Bolton ‘eager’ to see IAEA report on Iran amid Feruta’s visit

US National Security Adviser John Bolton has commented on the acting IAEA chief’s visit to Iran, making false accusations against Tehran with no evidence.

In a tweet on Saturday, the hawkish US official accused Iran of “concealing nuclear material and/or activities,” amid the visit by the acting chief of the agency, Cornel Feruta.

Netanyahu trying to push US into war against Iran in favor of Israel: Expert

An American author and Middle East expert tells Press TV’s The Debate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to have the United States wage a war against Iran.

The Israeli premier “and the hard right-wing Zionist extremists in Tel Aviv [are] trying to get the US to fight Iran for the benefit of Israel,” Kevin Barrett said on the program from Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday.

He cited an article published by The New York Times Magazine earlier in September, which had blamed Netanyahu for being “behind the US’s enmity with Iran.”

US threatens to sanction anyone fueling Iran tanker

Washington has threatened to blacklist anyone who helps fuel an Iranian vessel already sanctioned by the US administration. Iranian-operated supertanker Adrian Darya 1 (formerly Grace-1) was blacklisted by the US last month. Its captain was offered several millions of dollars to pilot the ship to a country that would impound the vessel on behalf of the US.

Netanyahu Fighting for His Political Life

New elections were called after Netanyahu failed to cobble together enough support for reelection as prime minister. He remains interim PM.

On September 17, Israelis go to the polls again to elect a prime minister and Knesset members.

Ten parties are competing for seats. Polls show Netanyahu-led Likud and Benny Gantz/Yair Lapid’s Blue and White party are each projected to win 31 of 120 Knesset seats, according to polls.

Throughout Jewish state history, Israeli coalitions governed, no single party ever winning a majority on its own.

Today extremist right-wing parties dominate Israel’s political landscape, reflecting hardline rule, democracy pure fantasy as in the West.

Netanyahu is desperate to retain power ahead of an October pre-indictment hearing on bribery, fraud, and breach of trust charges, strong evidence against him.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; Netanyahu has exactly 8 days in which to create some kind of war which might, under some circumstances, possibly postpone the elections until he feels he has a "safe majority" of coalitions which will protect him, or create an all-out war against Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon, hoping he looks "butch enough" to win the next elections.

However, the Israeli price in blood and money spent for such operations, looks terribly steep, from where I sit; I would respectfully and sincerely caution Prime Minister Netanyahu not take this road. Your people are emotionally exhausted by the steady diet of fear and anger, when there are so many other options which could be pursued, in the name of peace, and prosperity, for both Israel, and all other neighboring countries in the region.

Hezbollah Shoots Down Israeli Surveillance Drone Over South Lebanon

Two weeks after the first significant Israel-Hezbollah exchange of fire since the 2006 war, Hezbollah announced Monday it has downed another Israeli drone in southern Lebanon, The Washington Post reports.

A Hezbollah media statement said the group had "confronted" the Israel drone with "appropriate weapons" near the southern town of Ramiyeh, indicating the small drone was shot down. The paramilitary group now has the drone in its possession.

However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) denied its surveillance drone was shot down, only saying it had crashed in the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning. The IDF affirmed it had been conducting a reconnaissance mission in the area.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that Hezbollah is gaining quite a large degree of sophistication in terms of taking out Israeli drones; one has to wonder just what Israel's next move here will be, because they have always stated that their military superiority over Hezbollah cannot be overcome.

It appears that Hezbollah... has proven Israel wrong.

Israel Launches Unprovoked Attacks: Uses Its Firepower, Far And Wide

Israel recently has been expanding its military attacks across much of the Middle East, hitting multiple countries. The aggressive campaign far outpaces anything any adversaries of Israel have been doing to it, or even trying unsuccessfully to do to it. Over the past two years Israel has used combat aircraft to conduct scores of attacks in Syria. Israel has stayed silent about most of this campaign of bombardment, but when it speaks it says the targets it hits are associated with Iran. The most recent widening of Israel's assaults have involved Lebanon, including drone attacks on facilities in suburban Beirut associated with Hezbollah ... The most dramatic geographic widening of the Israeli assault came last month with multiple attacks, reportedly conducted with F-35s, in Iraq - which, of course, does not even border Israel.
