BEX Alert!!! - "Hayden On Iran Deal: Listen to Intel Officials, Push Obama's View Aside"

Before signing off on an agreement with Iran, Congress should heed the advice of officials at the Department of Energy and intelligence professionals — not President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry — about Tehran's "intentions and capabilities," according to Gen. Michael Hayden, the former director of the National Security Agency and Central Intelligence Agency.

"We need to look at the deal in its entirety and frankly push the president's view on the deal aside, push Secretary Kerry's view on the deal aside," Hayden, a retired four-star Air Force general, said Monday on Newsmax TV's "America's Forum."

Republicans Warn Iran -- and Obama -- That Deal Won't Last

A group of 47 Republican senators has written an open letter to Iran's leaders warning them that any nuclear deal they sign with President Barack Obama's administration won’t last after Obama leaves office.

Organized by freshman Senator Tom Cotton and signed by the chamber's entire party leadership as well as potential 2016 presidential contenders Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, the letter is meant not just to discourage the Iranian regime from signing a deal but also to pressure the White House into giving Congress some authority over the process.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let's take all those Republicans, hand them rifles and parachutes, and drop them on Tehran, if they want a war that badly!

US War on ISIS a Trojan Horse

All it took for this miraculous turn in fortune was the creation of “ISIS,” and serial provocations committed by these Hollywood-style villains seemingly engineered to reinvigorate America’s justification to militarily intervene more directly in a war it itself started in Syria beginning in 2011.

ISIS could not be a more effective part of America’s plans to overthrow the Syrian government and destroy the Syrian state if it had an office at the Pentagon.

Berlin Rumbles Washington’s Hidden War Agenda

Berlin and the rest of Europe need to move fast to underpin diplomacy with Russia and to head off Washington’s death-wish plunge into the abyss.

Washington’s reckless attempts to scuttle the shaky ceasefire in Ukraine are unnerving Germany. The German government feels, with good reason, that the Americans are trying to undermine its recent efforts to mediate a political solution to the nearly year-old conflict, which has caused at least 6,000 deaths and up to one million refugees. Not only that but the violence between the ultranationalist regime in Kiev and the pro-Russian separatists in the east is threatening to spillover into a wider war that could involve Russia and the rest of Europe.

No other visiting Prime Minister or President will be received with so much media attention and political fanfare as Netanyahu because none possess the formidable, organized, well-financed and disciplined political apparatus which Israel possess. This is an apparatus which defends and promotes US wars on behalf of Israel, Israel’s war crimes, land seizures and torture of Palestinians.

US/UK/Israel unlawful Wars of Aggression on Iraq, Iran are gangster ‘business’: an analogy

*hyperlinks live at source*
An analogy of US relations with Iraq and Iran (documentation of facts below):

The gangster, “Uncle” Sam, had a Machiavellian business history of 40 years with an appointed “regional manager,” Saddam; a history of transactions worth billions. Sam helped Saddam attack a rival, Mahmoud, from 1980-1988 after Mahmoud refused Sam’s control over his area of business. Sam had previously overthrown Mahmoud’s control from 1953-1979, making billions. After further complex history between Sam and Saddam, Saddam began selling product for currencies other than Sam’s.

Iran to ‘Wipe Israel off the map’? Read the 600 words for yourself to confirm US/Israel CRIMINAL war lies

*hyperlinks/video live at source*
The origin of claims that Iranian President Ahmadinejad threatened to “wipe Israel off the map” is his October 30, 2005 speech. The crystal-clear content and context prove this claim is false, and that “leaders” threatening war on Iran over this speech are committing War Crimes. These War Crimes, in context of ongoing War Crimes in the Middle East, require immediate arrests of political and media “leaders” (video evidence below). US military are required by Oath and training to refuse all orders associated with unlawful wars, with officers required to arrest those who issue them.

Israel Shamir: Who Killed Nemtsov

The Russians are worried that pro-Western neoliberal party will regain the positions they lost after 2000, and dead Nemtsov will indeed be more useful for his cause than alive one.

Anyway, while the mourning and the funeral did not cause any breach of peace, the march did not turn into a Maidan or Tahrir, and Bernard Henri Levi did not land on the Red Square, the Putin’s government got cold feet. For a long eight days Russian police looked for the murderers, and meanwhile the Yeltsin’s cadres, people of nineties assaulted Putin from within and the Western media and officials from without. President Putin is not a Genghis Khan, he is a non-confrontational bloke whose great ambition is to live in peace and harmony with the West while defending Russia’s vital interests, and observing interests of Russia’s wealthies and worthies. He also wants to be accepted as an equal among the world’s great, East and West.

We saved Jews 3 times, Netanyahu should revise history lessons – Iranian FM

Iran has no intention of destroying Israel and has actually saved the Jews three times in history, but the current Israeli regime is a threat to Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said.

“Israel threatens to use force against Iran almost on a daily basis… Of course, if they did use force against Iran, we would defend ourselves, as we have done with great sacrifice in the past. But we are not invading, we are not threatening anybody. We have not threatened anybody for 250 years,” the Iranian FM said.

“We never had the bomb. We will never have a bomb. We’re not looking to have a bomb. We do not believe a bomb is in our interest. Whereas [Netanyahu] does have a bomb. He has 200 nuclear weapons,” he said.

Iran Sends Tanks Into Iraq to Fight Islamists

As American jets flew top cover, in mid-August Kurdish Peshmerga militia and Iraqi special forces troops recaptured the strategic Mosul Dam from Islamic State militants. Meanwhile Iraqi Golden Brigade commandos liberated parts of Tikrit from the Islamists.

But the militants counterattacked—and that drew Iran into the fighting. In a move that could have far-reaching consequences, Tehran has sent tanks into northern Iraq.

Kerry Re-writes History of U.S. Support for Color Revolutions

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry either has a blind spot when it comes to the last 15 years of U.S. foreign policy or he told a big whopping lie in Geneva. Kerry, in defining U.S. action in Ukraine, said that «We [the United States] are not involved in multiple color revolutions». Someone in Kerry’s position should know better. After all, he is not only the chief foreign policy officer of the United States but he served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2009 to 2013 and was a member of the committee from the very outset of America’s «themed» or «color» revolutions, beginning with the October 5th Revolution, which overthrew Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic in 2000.

Washington Yanks British Bulldog into Line

The gross interference by Washington in Britain’s forthcoming election on the vital issue of budgetary priorities clearly demonstrates that British «democracy» is but an appendage to an American leash. And the leash is being yanked to pull the snarling bulldog into line.

In a brazen show of bringing-to-heel in their «special relationship», American political and Pentagon chiefs are openly rebuking the British government to maintain its huge military spend on the NATO alliance – to the possible detriment of already withering public services in austerity-clobbered Britain. The imposition by Washington raises serious questions about the nature of democracy in Britain – the self-proclaimed «Mother of all Parliaments».

Bibi Joffrey and the Flower of Zion

The walls are thick and strong beyond imagining, but the elders who sleep in the bowels of Zion know that this rumbling at their foundation marks well their inevitable fall.

The first great stone has hit the ramparts of Zion. The elders within the walls, down in the bowels of the fortress, have sat bolt upright, as they have felt the unmistakable rumbling vibration. Their eyes, which are usually narrow with the self-regard of the power of their own devious cunning, have suddenly gone wide with fear, as instantly they know that the inevitable has arrived upon them.

As another great stone finds the wall, and shakes the very air, these elders fly from their beds with great alarm.
The walls are thick and strong beyond imagining, but the elders who sleep in the bowels of Zion know that this rumbling at their foundation marks well their inevitable fall.

Netanyahu and Queen Esther of Persia

Benjamin Netanyahu while addressing the American Knesset in Washington DC invoked Persians’ hatred toward country’s Jewish community over 2500 years ago.

“Tomorrow night, on the Jewish holiday of Purim, we’ll read the Book of Esther. We’ll read of a powerful Persian viceroy named Haman, who plotted to destroy the Jewish people some 2,500 years ago. But a courageous Jewish woman, Queen Esther, exposed the plot and gave for the Jewish people the right to defend themselves against their enemies. The plot was foiled. Our people were saved,” Netanyahu said.

However, as an abnoxious Zionist liar, Netanyahu skipped the part from his Holy Book of Esther that describes how Queen Esther with the help of Mordechai’s (her father, uncle, boyfriend or whatever!) armed Jewish terrorists murdered 75,000 Persian civilians in cold-blood.

Netanyahu’s False Narrative

As members of the U.S. Congress bobbed up and down with applause, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu spun a tale of brave little Israel fretting about its survival, but he left out the fact that Israel has a large arsenal of nuclear weapons and has often been the one to invade its neighbors, as Marjorie Cohn recalls.

Mar 05 12:34

The Iranian Threat That Never Was

If you take politicians and the mainstream media seriously, you believe that Iran wants a nuclear weapon and has relentlessly engaged in covert efforts to build one. Even if you are aware that Iran signed the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and is subject to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections, you may believe that those who run the Islamic Republic have cleverly found ways to construct a nuclear-weapons industry almost undetected. Therefore, you may conclude, Democratic and Republican administrations have been justified in pressuring Iran to come clean and give up its “nuclear program.”

But you would be wrong.

Anyone naturally skeptical about such foreign-policy alarms has by now found solid alternative reporting that debunks the official narrative about the alleged Iranian threat.

On March 3rd, the day of Netanyahu’s anti-Iran speech to the U.S. Congress, a group of activists gathered at Times Sq. to protest his war oriented speech. They stood in the Square with black and white signs which have become the icon of New York City protestors, and proclaimed loudly “No war on Iran: negotiate”. From Times Sq. they marched through Manhattan streets, through Grand Central Station, to the Israeli Consulate chanting for a diplomatic solution.

When the marchers arrived at the Consulate the police tried to persuade them to demonstrate across the street.

The marchers refused to cross and proclaimed their legal- constitutional right to demonstrate peacefully at the Consulate. Meanwhile, across the street, another group, “Israelis for a Sustainable Peace”, was also protesting Netanyahu’s polices.

Farrakhan: Netanyahu aims to undermine Obama, drive U.S. to war with Iran

Minister Louis Farrakhan spoke on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to the USA to undermine President Barack Obama's attempt to dialogue with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Rather than observing customary protocol—that is arranging the visit of a head of state with top officials in the country to be visited—Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner informed the White House of the Netanyahu invitation just 10 minutes before it was announced to the public, on Jan. 21, the morning after the president’s State of the Union address.

Iran nuclear deal 'very close' as Netanyahu brings negotiators together

Kerry is committed to securing a political framework deal by the end of this month, with the intricate details to be filled in by the end of June. That was the approach agreed on the last time the talks were extended in November, and congressional Democrats have agreed to fend off new sanctions against Iran until the end of March, imposing an additional political deadline.

Tehran however has gone off the idea of a two-phase deal. In his NBC interview, Zarif said: “It is difficult to talk about a political agreement. We want to have an agreement.” And he made clear he viewed the end of June as the only hard all-or-nothing deadline.

Webmaster's Commentary:

America Must Reject Netanyahu’s War Cry on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to Washington this week to prepare the American people for war against Iran. Backed by American neoconservatives, the Israel lobby, and assorted other war hawks, Netanyahu insists that Iran intends to build a nuclear weapon and thus is an "existential threat" to Israel. He has no confidence that President Obama will negotiate an agreement that once and for all will end Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions.

Thus the prime minister’s objective is nothing less than to wreck the current negotiations and push America into a regime-changing war against Iran.

Netanyahu’s narrative is a fabric of lies and omissions.

Iran President: World 'Too Intelligent' To Be Fooled by Netanyahu's 'War-Mongering'

Making note of Israel's existing, though undeclared, arsenal of nuclear weapons and pushing back against the steady stream of vitriol aimed at Iran amid ongoing negotiations over its civilian nuclear program, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday described the people of the United States and across the world as "too intelligent" to be taken by the "war-mongering" contained in remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his high-profile visit to Washington, D.C. this week.

Speaking from Tehran, Rouhani indicated ongoing optimism following the latest round of talks between Iran and the P5+1 nations (the U.S., U.K., China, Russia, France, and Germany) which concluded in Switzerland on Wednesday. "The world is happy with the progress in the negotiations," he said.

Iran: We saved the Jews three times; Netanyahu should learn history

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s accusations in his recent speech to the U.S. Congress that Iran wants to destroy Israel.

In an interview with NBC, Zarif said that “Iran saved the Jews three times in its history,” insinuating that Netanyahu should brush up on his history lessons.

Zarif said Netanyahu distorts both the current reality and the writings in Jewish sources and the Bible.

“It is unfortunate that Mr. Netanyahu now totally distorts realities of today,” Zarif said. “He even distorts his own scripture. If you read the book of Esther, you will see that it was the Iranian king who saved the Jews. …

Benjamin Netanyahu in 2002 – “If You Take Out Saddam, I Guarantee, It Will Have Enormous Positive Reverberations on the Region”

In 2002, Benjamin Netanyahu already harbored some extremely strong convictions on how to deal with both Iran and Iraq. Back then, his opinions on how to handle the particular challenges each presented were quite divergent. On the one hand, he suggested beaming “reruns of Melrose Place” into Tehran, as a way of inspiring a popular uprising. In contrast, he suggested such an approach could never work in Iraq, and instead advocated for his preferred solution: violence.

Naturally, he believed that a violent overthrow of Saddam Hussein would be a great thing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The overthrow of Iraq was a great thing ... for Israel. Not so much for the people of Iraq and all those Americans killed and crippled wrecking Israel's regional rival! But then, they don't really matter, right Bibi?

Hillary Clinton leaked intel to hurt Israeli war plans, says watchdog attorney

The media feeding frenzy over the alleged unlawful use by Hillary Clinton of a non-government email system is having an impact on other allegations against the presidential wannabe. On Tuesday, a former Department of Justice prosecuting attorney said that he believes then-Secretary of State Clinton -- probably using her unofficial and illegal email system -- was complicit in the leaking of classified intelligence regarding military operation plans formulated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) to destroy Iran's nuclear weapons program.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, well, well! Hillary mishandling classified information and not just to get laid, like Patraeus. Of course, looking at the context of this incident, it is possible Hillary was acting under orders from Obama, but Obama will never own up to that, so Hillary gets to eat this one. But, Hillary is technically guilty of the same crimes Ed Snowden is accused of! If he can be charged under the Espionage Act, then so can Hillary!

BEX Alert - "Alan Dershowitz: Obama 'Obligated' to Answer Netanyahu's 'New' Proposal"

President Barack Obama "totally misled the American people" by saying Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during his Tuesday address to a joint session of Congress, presented no new ideas about striking a deal with Iran over nuclear weapons, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz said Wednesday on Newsmax TV's "America's Forum."

"The prime minister said, 'If the world leaders are not prepared to insist that Iran changes behavior before a deal is signed, at the very least, they should insist Iran changes behavior before a deal expires,'" said Dershowitz.

"His proposal, and it's a very sound one, is that the sunset provision doesn't kick in unless Iran does three things — it has to stop being the world's greatest exporter of terrorism, it has to stop bullying neighboring countries like Syria and Lebanon, and it has to stop calling for the destruction of Israel.

Guest Post: Yesterday Was A Very Sad Day For America

Well I found it incredibly sad yesterday watching our legislators in our own house of Congress give the foreign leader of a beggar nation (to the tune of $4 billion per annum) a standing ovation like he had just solved all of America’s problems. But the fact is Netanyahu came to give a speech that was in direct conflict with that of the American president.

Now I’m no fan of Obama but I hold deep respect for the scope of the position of President of the United States of America. And to have a nation that takes money from our tax payers only to turn around and use that money to buy off our tax payers’ representatives so they will pass foreign policy only concerned with Israel, gives me a rotting feeling in my stomach.

Bibi's War Cry Rings Hollow in Congress

Enter the proverbial boy who cried wolf: Benjamin Netanyahu. Much pomp and circumstance has surrounded the Israeli prime minister’s trip to Washington, but the most important takeaway should now be clear: He is calling for zero uranium enrichment to be allowed on Iranian soil precisely because he knows that it is unachievable – and his real aim is to torpedo the negotiations and fast-track war.

Pro-Israel lobbyists heap Iran pressure on US Congress

Thousands of members of AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, will pack the halls of Congress, a second act of sorts after Netanyahu’s speech in which he too will highlight the need to stop Iran’s nuclear program cold.

They will huddle with senators and representatives, including some skeptical Democrats and fully supportive Republicans, urging them to expand punitive sanctions on Tehran in the midst of negotiations over limiting Iran’s nuclear capacity.

“Iran’s the only thing they’re focusing on,” 27-year-old Cesar Degracia-Morales from Texas told AFP a day before he marches up Capitol Hill.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here is what you do. Print out the Official US Military Enlistment form and have copies with you, and every time you hear someone saying how we must have war with [insert name of this week's targeted nation here], hand them a copy of the form and offer to help them fill it out, then promise that you will personally deliver said form to the nearest enlistment office on your way home. WHY IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IRAN HAS A NUCLEAR BOMB

The above image is a scan of a piece of Trinitite. This is desert sand that was underneath the explosion of the world's first Atomic bomb in New Mexico as part of project TRINITY, hence the name Trinitite. The heat from that blast melted the sand into a green glass, not unlike the Fulgurites that result when lightning hits sandy soil.

Now, imagine an entire nation looking like the above sample, melted into green glass. Buried in the green glass are the charred remains of the people of that nation. It's not an idle fantasy. The US spent $5 trillion dollars (back in the 1950s, when a trillion dollars was REALLY a lot of money!) building a nuclear capability that can actually do that; melt any nation and it's people into a giant slab of green glass. The USSR knew it, the world knows it, Saddam knew it. The government of Iran knows it.

Nearly 60 lawmakers boycott Netanyahu speech

Republican House Speaker John Boehner (Ohio) had invited the Israeli leader to speak against the ongoing Iranian nuclear talks without first consulting the White House

US Officials Dismiss Netanyahu’s ‘Impossible’ Iran Deal

US officials have shrugged off Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s dictated terms for an alternative Iran deal as completely “impossible” to see accepted.

Officials said that not only would Iran never accept the terms laid out by Netanyahu, but that virtually none of the other P5+1 nations would tolerate the Israeli demands either.

The demand for a complete, unconditional dismantlement of Iran’s civilian nuclear infrastructure would never be accepted, and the call to couple it with a round of new sanctions, seemingly just for spite, would all but guarantee Iran would abandon the talks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Israeli elections are just 13 days away, and there are no guarantees that Netanyahu will get any of what he wanted, after the speech to Congress.

There are also no guarantees that Netanyahu won't bomb Iran unilaterally before the election, to show just how "butch" he can be; and he will have to contend with the absolute wrath of the international community which has had it up to HERE with his warmongering and threatening of his neighbors in the Middle East.

But internal polls in Israel suggest that the Israeli voters feel Netanyahu is completely out of touch with domestic problems they face, and want him to focus on domestic issues more.

And if he loses the election, without the power of the office of Prime Minister, is headed toward some massive corruption charges, to which he is going to have to answer.

I have no crystal ball here, but would tend to predict that Netanyahu has created the "perfect storm" for himself, by attempting to sway US foreign policy so blatantly, and ignoring festering domestic problems at home.

Iran and the US have resumed nuclear talks despite Netanyahu's warnings

U.S. President Barack Obama responded within hours saying that Netanyahu had offered no "viable alternatives" to the current course of negotiations.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It looks like the administration has dropped the ten year issue in light of the apparent backlash against Netanyahu's speech. Those members of Congress who boycotted the speech are looking really good now, and the GOP should realize that televised "blowjob" of Netanyahu (to use Jon Stewert's description) is going to work against them in 2016.

Iran calls Obama's 10-year nuclear demand 'unacceptable'

Iran rejected on Tuesday as "unacceptable" U.S. President Barack Obama's demand that it freeze sensitive nuclear activities for at least 10 years but said it would continue talks on a deal, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Iran laid out the position as the U.S. and Iranian foreign ministers met for a second day of negotiations and as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a stinging critique of the agreement they are trying to hammer out.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met a day after Obama told Reuters that Iran must commit to a verifiable halt of at least 10 years on sensitive nuclear work for a landmark atomic deal to be reached.

"Iran will not accept excessive and illogical demands," Zarif was quoted by Fars as saying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To bring these demands up so late in the negotiations was Obama's way of guaranteeing that the P5+1 negotiations would fail, utterly, even though talks are continuing.

The US government will, as is said in football, "run out the clock" until the end of the month, giving Israel precisely what it wanted; a failed negotiation, with a potential war against Iran in the offing.

Pelosi slams Netanyahu ‘insult’ to US intelligence

US House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress as an "insult" to the United States.

“I was near tears throughout the [Israeli] prime minister’s speech – saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5+1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation,” Pelosi said in a statement just after the speech.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If Netanyahu pissed off Pelosi, then he really pissed off a lot of people!

US general: Iran role in Tikrit assault 'may be positive'

Top US General Martin Dempsey has said Iran's involvement in dislodging "Islamic State" from the city of Tikrit could be "positive." Tens of thousands of Iraqi troops and Shiite militiamen have moved in around the city.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I don't think the White House realized that in creating this mythical monster ISIS, they created a situation in which all countries, not just the US, can now use ISIS to justify military interventions.

They should take everyone who votes yes and hand them a rifle and a parachute.

UPDATE: As of this morning, "No" is winning at 89%.

Congress Cheers Netanyahu’s Hatred of Iran

Netanyahu's Arsenal of Nukes The Israeli Elephant in the US Congress by BARRY LANDO

snip: Although it has possessed nuclear weapons for more than half a century, Israel still refuses to own up to that fact, and the United States blandly continues to go along with that fiction. When asked in 2009 if he knew of any country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons, Barack Obama avoided the trap by saying only that he did not wish to “speculate”.

The question is, whether you support Netanyahu’s policies or not, how can the U.S. and Israel and their allies block attempt to block Iran from acquiring the bomb, while pretending that Israel doesn’t already have one? How do you justify such a flagrant double standard?

Report from protests against Netanyahu: 'Public opinion about Israel is changing irreversibly'

Outside, in the streets surrounding the U.S. Congress, a strong, spirited crowd of demonstrators denounced Benjamin Netanyahu for committing war crimes against the Palestinian people and for attempting to whip up a war fever against Iran. We were met by police lines and cops who grabbed and shoved people as they attempted to exercise their Constitutional right to protest at Congress.

Inside, from within the hallowed halls, Netanyahu was given a boisterous two-minute-long standing ovation by the millionaire politicians in Congress.

The irony of what happened today speaks volumes about the nature of democracy in this country.

Netanyahu Threatens War In Speech to Congress

This was a speech threatening war.

Realizing he has insufficient clout to stop the negotiations, Netanyahu demanded a back-up position: If not "no" deal, then we can have a better deal.

His vision of a "better" deal, however, is grounded in Iranian surrender. And since that is not going to happen, demanding it means abandoning diplomacy in favor of—yes, war.

Netanjahu stabs Obama in the back!!

Google translate: Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu places open to the US government: in his controversial appearance in Washington, he criticized the proposed agreement with Iran as wrong and dangerous. "The greatest threat to our world is the covenant of Islam with nuclear weapons."

Ernst and eloquent echo the sentences through the great hall in the US Congress: With a deep voice and well-chosen words, a statesman describes his urgent concerns. Again and again donate gathered to a joint session of both chambers of Congress MPs and senators standing applause - but this appearance of a political slap comes dangerously close. For here does not contradict the US President, but Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu Address to Congress Same Old Argument Against Iran Negotiations

In 2002 Netanyahu testified on Iraq before the House government affairs committee. There he guaranteed that taking out Saddam Hussein would "have enormous positive reverberations on the region." Kerry pointed out the wrongness of these comments but not that his rhetoric on Iraq's (non-existent) nuclear capabilities matched Netanyahu's, and most of Washington's. In 2011 Netanyahu addressed a joint sessions of Congress, warning of the threat of a nuclear Iran, something he has a long history of overblowing.

US Not Providing Air Support for Iraqi Push to Retake Tikrit from ISIS

Iraq’s military has launched what it calls a major offensive to recapture Saddam Hussein’s hometown of Tikrit from ISIS, but U.S. officials say there has been no coordination from the U.S. nor any requests for coalition airstrikes to support the operation.

Basically, Baghdad didn't notify the US of the operation, but did invite Iran to take part!

Leaked cables show Netanyahu’s Iran bomb claim contradicted by Mossad

Binyamin Netanyahu’s dramatic declaration to world leaders in 2012 that Iran was about a year away from making a nuclear bomb was contradicted by his own secret service, according to a top-secret Mossad document.

It is part of a cache of hundreds of dossiers, files and cables from the world’s major intelligence services – one of the biggest spy leaks in recent times.

Brandishing a cartoon of a bomb with a red line to illustrate his point, the Israeli prime minister warned the UN in New York that Iran would be able to build nuclear weapons the following year and called for action to halt the process.

But in a secret report shared with South Africa a few weeks later, Israel’s intelligence agency concluded that Iran was “not performing the activity necessary to produce weapons”. The report highlights the gulf between the public claims and rhetoric of top Israeli politicians and the assessments of Israel’s military and intelligence establishment.

Netanyahu’s Big Gamble

In pursuing the strategy of preserving the perception of the Iranian threat in order to maintain the special relationship with the United States, Netanyahu is pursuing strategies that sabotage America’s own foreign policy interests...

NETANYAHU’S LONG HISTORY OF CRYING WOLF ABOUT IRAN’S NUCLEAR WEAPONS

In his 1995 book, “Fighting Terrorism,” Netanyahu once again asserted that Iran would have a nuclear weapon in “three to five years,” apparently forgetting about the expiration of his old deadline.

For a considerable time thereafter, Netanyahu switched his focus to hyping the purported nuclear threat posed by another country, Iraq, about which he claimed there was “no question” that it was “advancing towards to the development of nuclear weapons.” Testifying again in front of Congress again in 2002, Netanyahu claimed that Iraq’s nonexistent nuclear program was in fact so advanced that the country was now operating “centrifuges the size of washing machines.”

Needless to say, these claims turned out to be disastrously false. Despite this, Netanyahu, apparently unchastened by the havoc his previous false charges helped create, immediately went back to ringing the alarm bells about Iran.
