Germany Moves Away from the US Anti-Putin Alliance. Joins Forces with Russia in Coalition to Defeat ISIS?

n a surprise move Germany left the anti-Putin-alliance formed by the USA: Germany is now officially welcoming Moscow’s readiness to act in Syria and is starting an initiative together with the Russians and the French to bring an end to the war. This is to stop the constant stream of refugees. Germany has ordered thousands of soldiers into readiness.

Germany surprisingly left the alliance formed together with the United States which intended to block Russia’s entry into the Syrian conflict.

National Defense Commander: Iran to Annihilate ISIL in Syria Soon

The US will no longer have an excuse for a war on terror!

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior commander of Syria's national defense forces welcomed Tehran and Moscow' military aid to his country, and ensured that the ISIL terrorist group will soon be completely crushed by Iran.

"Iran's mighty presence in Syria will uproot the ISIL," Sheikh Fayez Abdolrahman Sheikh Namess told FNA on Thursday.

He said the Syrian nation welcomes Iran and Russia's presence and any friendly states' military power on their soil to fight against the terrorists.

"Today the Syrian people trust Russia and Iran more than the US and the regimes ruling the Sheikhdoms in the Persian Gulf region in the war on terrorism," Namess said.

Syrian officials have welcomed Iran and Russia's military assistance in campaign against terrorism.

U.S.-Backed Jihadists Falter; Liberation Imminent for Palmyra?

Over the past week, things haven’t been going as well as they normally do for the Western-backed terrorists who have raped and beheaded their way across Syria for the last four years. Likewise, the Western plot to overthrow Assad and replace him with chaos and a weak jihadist/impotent government over four years ago has gone from a quagmire to the beginnings of a reversal...

'Tacit agreement' between US, Russia to end Syria war: Assad adviser

Russia and the United States have reached a "tacit agreement" on ending Syria's bloody crisis, a senior adviser to Syrian President Bashar Assad has said.

"The current U.S. administration wants to find a solution to the crisis in Syria. There is a tacit agreement between the U.S. and Russia to reach this solution," Bouthaina Shaaban said in an interview with state television late Wednesday.

"The U.S. recognizes now that Russia has profound knowledge of this region and a better assessment of the situation," she said.

"The current international climate is heading towards detente and towards a solution for the crisis in Syria."

The story holds important truths. It’s essentially about the tough spot AIPAC was put in by the Obama administration’s hardball tactics to protect the achievement of the nuclear deal with Iran, hardly a surprise given the stakes at hand.

China ready to send troops to Syria if the Assad regime is threatened

High source of Hezbollah said the radio "Voice of Beirut" that China will help Bashar al-Assad, if the Chinese leadership is considered that the survival of the Syrian regime in danger.

At the same time, representatives of the Syrian opposition advise that similar statements Hezbollah take with a grain of salt. In their view, it is a propaganda campaign Assad, whose aim is that his regime is benefiting from international support.

RUSSIANS IN SYRIA FIGHTING ISIS

But the Russian presence may be disturbing to the ongoing insanity in another sense altogether, one that Western hawks surely have to be contemplating. Consider this story shared by Mr. S.D.:

Reuters: Russian Boots on Ground in Syria Seeking to Destroy Western Created ISIS

Before we even tackle the article itself, note two prominent factors right off the bat: (1) the title of the article: Russian Boots on Ground in Syria Seeking to Destroy Western Created ISIS,(emphasis added) and (2) the fact that it is Reuters which has run the story under this headline. This is not an alternative news source, this is not internet conspiracy theory, this is very much a mainstream western newswire service, and that is indicative, I suggest in one component of my high octane speculation (and as we'll see shortly, fantasy), of growing "dissent in the ranks" within the West itself, or, if one prefers, some major "factional infighting" in the "house that NATO built."

The intervention of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation) against terrorism in Iraq and Syria may be the beginning of a world order based on the cooperation and defence of civilian populations, or, on the contrary, a period of East-West confrontation in which the West openly supports terrorism. “Doomsday vault” opened because of war in Syria

Global Seed Vault located on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen will open its reserves because of destroyed seed vault in Aleppo. The International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) asked for help, as it had to move to Beirut after the unique seed vault had been destroyed in the Syrian Aleppo during the military operations. ICARDA asked for seed samples, which can be grown in the dry areas of the Middle East. In total, about 116,000 samples of various seeds are required. The global seed vault built on Spitsbergen comprises about 860,000 seed samples from all of the world regions in case of a global catastrophe. Countries, which sent their seeds, may take them back if needed. The vault is well-secured and is able to preserve the seeds for two centuries even if people stop taking care of them. The unique bank was opened in 2008 with the alleged storage for up to 10,000 years. There have been no requests to the global seed vault before.

Why the huge difference between US and the Brits?

Last summer, Israel launched Operation Protective Edge, a bloody war against Gaza that killed about 2,300 Palestinians, the vast majority of whom were civilians, including over 500 children. The attack also devastated Gaza’s infrastructure, and left about 500,000 people displaced or homeless. These war crimes and others, like Israel’s recent attack on the Freedom Flotilla, which sought to bring medical aid and solar panels to the Port of Gaza, have given rise to increased calls for Israel to be tried before the International Criminal Court.

All Republican Presidential Candidates Stand For War

There is not a peaceful person among the Republican candidates. Even the female is heartless.

Here is Carla Fiorina at the debate describing the way she will lead us to Armageddon. She won’t talk to Putin, but she will send him “the message” via military threats:

“Having met Vladimir Putin, I wouldn’t talk to him at all. We’ve talked way too much to him. What I would do, immediately, is begin rebuilding the Sixth Fleet, I would begin rebuilding the missile defense program in Poland, I would conduct regular, aggressive military exercises in the Baltic states. I’d probably send a few thousand more troops into Germany. Vladimir Putin would get the message. . . . Russia is a bad actor, but Vladimir Putin is someone we should not talk to, because the only way he will stop is to sense strength and resolve on the other side, and we have all of that within our control. We could rebuild the Sixth Fleet. I will. We haven’t. We could rebuild the missile defense program. We haven’t. I will.”

US never expected Russian deployment in Syria: Analyst

The United States never expected that Russia would deploy tactical military equipment to Syria to help resolve the years-long crisis that was created for the benefit of Israel, says a former US congressional staffer.

“The original policy was to destabilize nations in the Middle East for the benefit of Israel and I think the Russian deployment is something that they didn’t think would ever happen,” Rodney Martin told Press TV on Monday.

“I don’t think the United States figured that the Russians would ever deploy air forces and heavy armament and troops outside the territories of the Russian Federation ever again after the collapse of the Soviet Union,” he noted.

Russia has reportedly sent artillery units and tanks as well as dozens of personnel to Syria. US defense officials have said Russia moved fighter jets to a base near Latakia on Friday.

Russia has begun drone surveillance missions in Syria, US defense officials said Monday. The move marks Moscow's first military air operations there since undertaking a rapid buildup at a Syrian air base.

US officials said the drone operations appear to based out of the air base near the western port city of Latakia, where last week a monitoring group said Russia was working to extend an airstrip near a military airport.

The start of the drone flights highlights the risks of Russian aircraft operating in the same airspace as US-led coalition planes, as the two Cold War rivals have not agreed on coordination or objectives in Syria's civil war.

It has become common to discount any criticism of US foreign policy as “blaming America first.” It is a convenient way of avoiding a real discussion. If aggressive US policy in the Middle East – for example in Iraq – results in the creation of terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda in Iraq, is pointing out the unintended consequences of bad policy blaming America? Is it “blaming America” to point out that blowback – like we saw on 9/11 – can be the result of unwise US foreign policy actions like stationing US troops in Saudi Arabia?

Report: Russian Marines Battle ISIS In Syria, IS Possesses “Satellite Imagery” Of Base

Yet, while the Russian marines fighting off ISIS attacks is news enough, perhaps the most important revelation is that, according to Segodnia, the ISIS fighters apparently had detailed plans of the base as well as clear satellite imagery of the military installations located there.

The question then becomes, how did ISIS, a terrorist organization which has yet to launch its own satellites into orbit, acquire such sensitive and important material?

If the Segodnia report is to be believed, and with the United States, NATO, Israel, and the GCC, having supported the death squads in Syria, it seems we may have some idea of where they were able to procure satellite images.

Putin's Consistency on Syria Has Washington Fuming

It is increasingly difficult to watch the most recent coverage of the Syrian war and not be struck by how utterly illogical and convoluted it has become. But look through the media spin and it’s clear: the Russian leader's steady moves in Syria are perplexing the US.

Whether it's the latest neocon claim that the way to ‘help’ refugees is to drop more bombs and train more Al-Qaeda-linked rebels, or the conveniently-timed mass hysteria over Russia's (never secret) support for Bashar Assad — or even the strange (and completely false) notion floating around that the West has 'done nothing' in Syria, all of this nonsense is becoming very difficult to take seriously.

Al-Moallem: Russia’s participation in fighting terrorism will turn the tables on the conspirators

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem said Russia’s participation in fighting Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorist organizations will turn the tables on those who plotted conspiracies against Syria.

“There is something new beyond (Russia) providing Syria with weapons, which is Russia engaging in fighting ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra,” said al-Moallem in an interview with the Russian RT channel that was aired on Saturday.

“This is a major issue. It is something that will turn the tables on those who conspired against Syria and will show that the US and its coalition have had no strategy for combating ISIS, and the evidence is that they have grasped the Russian message and now want to coordinate and cooperate with Russia,” al-Moallem added.

Mainstream Media Admits in Storytelling Fashion: ISIS Commander Is U.S. Trained!

Anyone getting their facts, news and information outside the spectrum of the tiny information bottleneck known as mainstream media is probably tired of hearing it by now. The Islamic State or ISIS is a terror organization created, funded and armed by the U.S. and its allies particularly Israel, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. These U.S.-created new world order thugs trained primarily in Jordan are the exact same “rebels” who have been admittedly armed and trained by the U.S. Many of these terrorist “rebels” turned ISIS fighters are known to be visited and befriended by global terrorists like John McCain and others. These facts are all well established in recorded documents and independent media reports all over the world. The ridiculous, treasonous and intelligence-insulting never-ending story behind ISIS has been rehashed and exposed too many times.

MPs likely to back anti-ISIS airstrikes in Syria, say ministers

Governmental proposals to extend military action against Islamic State (formerly ISIS/ISIL) from Iraq into Syria are likely to secure enough support from opposition MPs to be successful, ministers believe.

One senior government source told the Financial Times they were “cautiously optimistic” that the number Labour MPs in favor of further airstrikes against the extremist group would be greater than the opposing Tory rebels.

A number of newly-appointed Labour shadow cabinet ministers have revealed their support for the measures, including shadow justice secretary Lord Falconer.

He told the BBC on Sunday if there was “a military and legal basis to doing it, then we should do it.”

The previous vote ended in embarrassment after defiant Tory MPs ensured the PM’s plans were thwarted.

Putin: Syria does not intend to fight with Israel

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday expressed confidence that Syria does not need warfare with Israel. "As for shelling, we know, we condemn that shelling. As far as I know, makeshift missile systems are used in it," he said at talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has paid a visit to Moscow because he is concerned with the deteriorating situation in the Middle East. "Israel and Russia have common interests-ensuring stability in the Middle East. I am here because of the complicated security situation, it is becoming more and more complicated," Netanyahu said at the meeting. Putin in his turn said that Moscow’s position in the Middle East will always remain responsible.

Top ISIS Chechen Commander Fought Under US Umbrella as Late as 2013

Abu Omar al-Shishani, the red-bearded face of ISIS terror lately described in such headlines as ‘Star pupil’: Pied piper of ISIS recruits was trained by U.S. for the fact that he received American military training as part of an elite Georgian army unit in 2006 and after, did not stop playing for “team America” once he left his home country in the Caucuses. He actually enjoyed US backing and American taxpayer largesse as late as 2013, soon after entering Syria with his band of Chechen jihadists.

As Crisis Intensifies, Kerry Says US Will Take 100,000 Refugees in 2017

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced Sunday that the U.S. will accept 85,000 refugees from around the world next year—up from 70,000—and the number will rise to 100,000 in 2017.

Many, though not all, of the additional refugees would be Syrian, American officials have said. The United States has taken in just 1,500 refugees since the start of the Syrian war in 2011, and President Barack Obama last week committed to accepting 10,000 more over the coming year.

The Implosion of US Military Morale

WE are being set up for a major defeat and destruction!

By Jack D. Douglas

September 21, 2015

Col.David “Hack” Hackworth said decades ago that the Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon got control of the Army and other U.S. forces during the long Vietnam catastrophe, destroyed morale, lost the war, and kept moving up to the top to be the staff generals and admirals in the Pentagon. The scuttlebutt was always that they managed their way up by being ass-kissers.

I wonder what Hack would say about all the news these days about the Perfumed Princes at the top of the US military?

Syria conflict: New US-backed rebels cross from Turkey

A group of 75 US-backed rebels has crossed into northern Syria from Turkey to fight jihadists, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says.

The rebels crossed into Syria in 12 vehicles equipped with machine guns over the weekend, it added.

It comes days after a top US general said only a handful of rebels trained by the US were still fighting in Syria.

Republican politicians have branded the $500m (£323m) scheme to train and equip around 5,000 rebels a "total failure".

"Seventy-five new fighters trained in a camp near the Turkish capital entered Aleppo province between Friday night and Saturday morning," said the observatory's director, Rami Abdel Rahman.

US to accept 100,000 refugees by 2017: Kerry

US Secretary of State John Kerry has announced that the United States will increase the number of its refugee admissions from the current 70,000 to a total of 100,000 over the next two years.

"In consultation with Congress, we will continue to explore ways to increase those figures while maintaining robust security," Kerry said on Sunday, after meeting with German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin.

Russia Should Ignore Washington’s Blind Arrogance on Syria

The trouble with arrogance is that it is intellectually blinding; and the trouble with being intellectually blind is that you fail to see your own contradictions – no matter how preposterous those contradictions may be.

The arrogant ones we are referring to here are the United States and its Western allies. In the past week, Washington has been up in arms about Russia’s decision to step up its military support for the government of Syria. The Americans are calling on Moscow for “clarification” and are getting all hot under the collar about what they say is unwarranted Russian support for the “regime” of Bashar al-Assad.

A WikiLeaks document appears to show US plans to destabilize Syria back in 2006

A WikiLeaks document of an alleged telegram sent from Damascus appears to show the US had big plans when it came to Syria — long before the conflict began in 2011.

In the 2006 document classified as "secret," the US allegedly wrote plans to want to destabilize the Syrian government.

No Nation 'Has Ever Threatened Humanity's Survival' More Than US

No nation in history has ever threatened peace more than the United States, US author Stephen Lendman emphasizes, adding that Washington bears full responsibility for creating the notorious Islamic State. "Washington bears full responsibility for creating ISIS [ISIL]. Russian UN envoy Vitaly Churkin traced its origin from Bush's Iraq war, saying it 'became active when (it) began storming Baghdad…So, the Islamic State ripened in Iraq during the US occupation. (America) should be blamed for' its rise and proliferation," Lendman pointed out in his article for Global Research.
Remarkably, the recent poll carried out by the British polling organization ORB International, an affiliate of WIN/Gallup International, has found out that 82 percent of Syrians blame the US for creating ISIL, while 79 percent claimed that "foreign fighters made war worse." Furthermore, the poll has indicated that Bashar al-Assad's positions in Syria have strengthened from a year ago.

#JeSuisSyrian ~~ IT’S NOT JUST THE EU, NOBODY GIVES A DAMN!

Saudi Arabia has 100,000 empty, air-conditioned tents sitting unused while thousands of Syrian refugees continue to bake in overcrowded camps, but refuses to make them available. The news site TeleSur reports that the 20-square-km tent city of Mina is used just a few days a year to provide beds for Hajj pilgrims and sits empty the rest of the year. It says the tents are laid out neatly, measure eight metres square, are fireproof, include a kitchen and bathroom, and could house three million people. According to the Brookings Institute, the wealthy Arab states of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE have not taken a single refugee, while European countries struggle to deal with a flood in the hundreds of thousands.

75 US-trained militants enter Syria via Turkey: Report

Dozens of militants, who were newly trained by the US-led coalition purportedly fighting Daesh Takfiris, have entered Syria from Turkey, a report says.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a report on Sunday that 75 militants have crossed into northern Syria over the past few days in a convoy of a dozen cars with light weapons and ammunition.

The militants that were “trained in a camp near the Turkish capital, entered Aleppo province between Friday night and Saturday morning,” said SOHR Director Rami Abdel Rahman.
