'Fighting Terrorism in Syria' - A Just Pretext for Australia, or for Russia?

Assad Calls Out U.S. For Supporting Terrorism, Says EU “Not Dealing With The Cause Of Refugee Crisis”

Adding to the voices of numerous researchers, activists, and now world leaders who are calling out the United States for its open support of terrorists and terrorism in Syria as well as its poorly-veiled support for ISIS, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad spoke out about the US terrorist connection as well as the refugee crisis currently unfolding in Europe...

World War Three: Who Will Be Blamed?

If you want to start a to war, the unwashed masses must be convinced to send their brothers, sons and fathers to die on the front lines. The specter of an external enemy must be etched into their collective mind through trauma, exaggeration and repetition. History must be whitewashed, twisted and cherry picked down to a politicized nursery rhyme. At no point should the real motives or consequences of such an endeavor be discussed.

Assad: “Worried About Refugees? Stop Supporting Terrorists”

Russia Today was recently granted a rare interview with other foreign media outlets at Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s home, wherein he summed up the entire refugee issue:

“It’s not about that Europe didn’t accept them or embrace them as refugees, it’s about not dealing with the cause. If you are worried about them, stop supporting terrorists. That’s what we think regarding the crisis. This is the core of the whole issue of refugees,” he said.

Ken explains the concept of ‘The Greater Israel Project’ and the balkanization of surrounding countries as a means of destabilizing them. Balkanization is a geopolitical term that was originally used to describe the process of the fragmentation or division of a region or state into smaller regions or states that are often hostile or non-cooperative with one another. The head of the snake, the system of power, is headed by the financial system. The bankers rule the Earth through the private control of the issuance of money, debt-based money which we’re all supposed to pay with things like austerity measures, which allows them to provide THEMSELVES an INFINITE supply of money which means that they can buy anything and anyone so we see that the world governments are nothing but puppets of bankers who control their money supply. Refugee Crisis Reminds Europe There is a Real War in Syria

Refugees are not the problem; war is. If the war in Syria doesn’t stop, the flow of refugees will only continue. The refugee wave, marked by the dramatic image of tens of thousands of Syrians trying to reach Germany from Hungary, is a phenomenon that until very recently has been confused, perhaps deliberately, with mass migration. There is an important difference: migrations are frequently driven by financial or social exclusion. What is happening now in Europe is the inevitable consequence of unresolved crises in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, and Afghanistan – all related to the collapse of these countries’ respective states, the result of wars for which the West bears much responsibility.

Turkey Pushes Refugees To Europe; Part Of NATO War Plan, False Flag, Police State?

By Brandon Turbeville

When observing the tragic humanitarian crisis that has fully engulfed virtually all of Europe as a result of the mass migration of people from war-torn and third world countries, many may be prompted to wonder just how all of these refugees came to take part in a mass exodus at the same time as if they were acting on cue. After all, the Syrian crisis has been unfolding for 4-5 years now and the Libyan crisis even longer still. Other countries have found themselves on the wrong end of NATO but, until now, we have not seen the massive migration such as that taking place across Europe today and very soon to include the United States.

After all, if the Syrian refugees were escaping Syria because of Assad’s cruelty, why did we not witness an immigration crisis in 2008? 2009? 2010? In fact, why have we not seen such a mass exodus until now?...

Israel’s Deep Role in Syrian Refugee Crisis: Saga of Yarmouk

When Zionist Haganah militias carried out Operation Yiftach, on May 19 1948, the aim was to drive Palestinians in the northern Safad District which had declared its independence a mere five days earlier, outside the border of Israel.

The ethnic cleansing of Safad and its many villages was not unique to that area. In fact, it was the modus operandi of Zionist militias throughout Palestine. Soon after Israel’s independence, and the conquering of historic Palestine, the militias were joined together to form the Israeli armed forces.

Not all villages, however, were completely depopulated. Some residents in villages like Qaytiyya near the River Jordan, remained in their homes. The village, located between two tributaries of the Jordan — al-Hasbani and Dan rivers — hoped that normality would return to their once tranquil village once the war subsides.

Burned alive by Israelis

Incinerating humans whether in a gas chamber, military attack, by injecting petrol into the mouth or throwing a torch through a window all have one thing in common: burning is how racists manifest hate.

Five years ago at a stop during my book signing tour in San Diego, I met an adorable toddler named Farah.

She was being treated in the US for severe burns she received at the age of two.

Farah was one of thousands of civilians who were either injured or killed when Israel rained white phosphorus bombs on Gaza in 2008-2009.

The phosphorus that burned through Farah’s angelic flesh was American made and paid for by US taxpayers. Ironically, so was Farah’s treatment.

Last Sunday, mother of two Reham Dewabsha died from burn injuries.

The Saker: So What Are the Russians Really Doing in Syria?

What appears to be happening is this: the Russians are, apparently, sending some limited but important gear to provide immediate assistance to the Syrian forces. In doing so, they have also created the conditions to keep their options open. So while there is not massive Russian intervention taking place, something has definitely shifted in the Syrian conflict.

I would like to add here that while the government forces have recently lost the Idlib air base in the north of the country (and not too far from Latakia), all my sources confirm to me that the Syrian forces are in a much better position than Daesh and that the war is going very badly for the Takfiris. The Syrians have recently freed the city of Zabadan and they are on the offensive in most locations and while it is true that Daesh still controls a lot of land, most of that is desert.

To summarize the above I would say this: the AngloZionists are freaking out because their war against Syria has failed; while Daesh has created havoc and terror in several countries, there are many signs that the local countries are gradually becoming determined to do something. The US has also failed to get rid of Assad, the massive refugee crisis has triggered a major political crisis in Europe, and now the Europeans are looking at Assad in a dramatically different light than before.

The Syrian Crisis: A War Waged on Russia by US-NATO

It seems clear now that the West wants to defeat Russia in Syria at all costs. This latest protracted confrontation in the Middle East can be understood as a proxy war of the US and NATO against Putin’s resurgent Russia. But Syria is just one zone of engagement in a much wider war against Russia that has been taking place since Putin started to stand up to the West. The same confrontation also occurs in Ukraine and formerly in Georgia, where Russia successfully halted, albeit temporarily, the Western advance. This amounts to a new Cold War or an undeclared war where East and West are once more in global confrontation.

Romano Prodi: Settlement in Syria may be only after concord between Russia, US

Approaching settlement of the conflict in Syria may be only if Russia and the US find a compromise, former Head of the European Commission and former Prime Minister of Italy Romano Prodi said in an interview with Messaggero published on Sunday.
"The only opportunity [for the Syrian settlement] is a compromise between two super nations [Russia and the US], where it would be possible to continue a joint war against terrorism and caliphate, as well as to prepare in reasonable terms the transfer of power from [Syria’s President Bashar] Assad," Prodi said. He said about similar, in his opinion, events in Iraq and Libya, which have demonstrated overturning the authority regimes without ready scenarios for future causes enormous tragedies. "I have been saying it is impossible to defeat terrorism without a concord between two super nations [Russia and the US] under all the problems on the way to this concord," he said.

Israel keeps making, not taking, more refugees

Long before Syrian refugees found their way to Europe, the war-torn country’s neighbours have been hosting a staggering number of displaced persons – with one notable exception.

Syria has five neighbours: Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Israel (with the latter occupying the Golan Heights since 1967). According to recent figures, Turkey currently hosts 1.8 million Syrian refugees, Lebanon a further 1.17 million, Jordan around 630,000, and Iraq some 250,000.

Israel, however, with a GDP per capita almost double that of Turkey and five times as much as Jordan, has not accepted a single one.

Lavrov: US knows ISIS positions, refuses to bomb

Russia has information that the US know the specific location points of the "Islamic State" (extremist organization banned in Russia), but did not give an order to strike on the positions "of the IS," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Western Media Hype ‘Russian Aggression’ in Syria

From Washington to the western media, everyone has been talking about reports of potential Russian ‘intervention’ in Syria. On the one hand, the proliferation of this meme is a case study in the western propaganda system, as one report is then repeated ad nauseam from thousands of sources, then built upon by subsequent reports, thereby manufacturing the irrefutable truth from the perspective of media pundits and western mouthpieces. On the other hand, the new reports also raise some interesting questions about the motives of both the US and Russia, as well as the other interested parties to the conflict in Syria.

In examining this new chapter of the ongoing war in Syria, two critical and interrelated points seem to rise above all others in importance: Why is the western media hyping this narrative of Russian intervention? And why is direct Russian involvement, limited though it may be, seen as such a threat by the US?

US Drones Attack Syria’s Military

snip: Obama’s stepped up bombing complicit with Britain, France, Canada, Australia and Israel heads thing closer to full-scale naked aggression - to destroy Syrian sovereignty, eliminate an Israeli rival, and isolate Iran ahead of perhaps inventing a pretext to attack the Islamic Republic.

War plans were made years ago, updated as needed. The Iran nuclear deal did nothing to change longstanding US hostility toward Tehran.

Regime change remains official US policy - wanting Iranian sovereign independence destroyed like what’s ongoing in Syria. Maybe Washington has an Islamic State invasion in mind, perhaps aided by US air power.

America targets all independent government worldwide for regime change - wanting subservient US-controlled vassal states replacing them, a nightmarish scenario for endless conflicts, mass slaughter and destruction and possible nuclear war threatening everyone, everywhere if launched.

Consequently, he argues, there has been “a permanent change to the United States” that permeates the lives of all Americans. The result, according to Scott, has been the suspension of Constitutional rights and the transformation of America in ways that we are still living with today.

Excluding Syrian army from fighting ISIS is absurd – Lavrov

The Syrian army could be a crucial force in fight against Islamic State, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, reiterating that Russia will support the Syrian government in the fight against the extremist group.

“To exclude Syrian army from fighting Islamic State [formerly ISIS/ISIL] is absurd… Syrian armed forces will be the most effective military force on the ground,” Lavrov said in an interview to Russia’s Channel One TV.

Lavrov added that when there was a question of destroying chemical weapons a year ago, Assad was considered a “legitimate” president of Syria and his actions were welcomed in UN Security Council resolutions.

“A year passed and he [Assad] stopped being legitimate, because the threat is now not chemical weapons or substance but a terror menace,” Lavrov said, describing that as an “ideologized” approach.

Politics, Not Weapons Needed to Defeat ISIL & Solve Syrian Crisis - Corbyn

A political solution involving the West, Russia, Iran and other Middle Eastern powers is needed to defeat ISIL and overcome the crisis in Syria, as an expansion of air strikes will only result in more civilian casualties, British MP Jeremy Corbyn has said.

Corbyn, who is expected to be unveiled as the new leader of Britain's Labour party, called for an international political conference to discuss the issues surrounding Syria and help bring about a resolution to the crisis.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is one of the most sensible things I have heard coming out of any politician's mouth on these issues in a long time.

Unfortunately, regarding the United States Government, just because a policy or action is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing the US government can do, is absolutely no guarantee that they won't do it.

And looking at the debacles which have been Iraq; Libya; Somalia; Syria, Yemen, and Afghanistan, there are two things which are painfully clear about the current administration; it is pathologically incapable of thinking a scenario through to its logical conclusion, or learning from it's mistakes.

That makes for a very dangerous partner and/or enemy in world affairs.

"Psychopaths Are Running The World" Former US Marine Blows Whistle On Syrian False Flag, Exposes Real Agenda

“We have tortured and killed and maimed and raped around this planet; who in their right mind would consider the United States or the West in general to be in any position to punish anybody?” the veteran begins angrily, going on to outline the evidence for Syria being a false flag attack (Note: leaked emails showing how Assad was framed by the USA are detailed in this cached Daily Mail report from January 2013, which was published online briefly before being removed).

He rightly points out that the USA dropped more bombs in Vietnam than during the whole of WW2 combined, that it regularly arms terrorists (but the mainstream press refer to them as ‘freedom fighters’ when it suits them) and the former marine also points out how the so-called ‘War on Terror’ is nothing more than a well-planned strategy to be in a “perpetual state of war to destabilize the region for the Greater Israel plan.”

And indeed, maybe someone was trying, because as Reuters reports, the drowned child’s father might not have been a fleeing migrant after all, but rather a people smuggler and Aylan might have been on the boat not because his family intended to save their child from the horrific violence escalating daily in Syria, but rather because profiting off of other people’s misery was his father’s chosen profession and he often brought his family along for the ride.

Anti-austerity & anti-war Jeremy Corbyn elected UK Labour leader

“Welcome to our party, welcome to our movement. And I say to those returning to the party, who were in it before and felt disillusioned and went away: welcome back, welcome home.”

Labour leadership: Jeremy Corbyn elected with huge mandate

Jeremy Corbyn has been elected leader of the British Labour party, in a stunning first-round victory that dwarfed even the mandate for Tony Blair in 1994.

Having been catapulted from a little-known member of parliament to leader of the opposition, he will now set about apologizing for the Iraq war and strongly opposing cuts to public services and welfare. He will start off on Saturday with a speech to a rally in London in support of refugees.

The title is based on an anecdote recounted in the book. Early in 1945 an unidentified immigration agent was asked how many Jews would be allowed in Canada after the war. He replied “None is too many”.

Obama Warns Russia: Backing Syria Against ISIS ‘Doomed to Failure’

President Obama today rejected Russia calls for increased military cooperation against ISIS, insisting America’s tactics in the war would not change, and declaring that Russia’s strategy of backing the Syrian government against ISIS is “doomed to failure.”

Russia has been providing military aid to Syria for decades, and insists its aid during the Syrian Civil War is unchanged, but warned that the US should coordinate with them to avoid “unintended incidents” of conflict in their mutual war against ISIS.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to President Obama: just how much of a "success", sir, has the US military had against Isis?!?

As reported at last month:

This Saturday marks one full year since the US military began its still-undeclared war against Islamic State that the government officials openly acknowledge will last indefinitely. What do we have to show for it? So far, billions of dollars have been spent, thousands of bombs have been dropped, hundreds of civilians have been killed and Isis is no weaker than it was last August, when the airstrikes began. But don’t take it from me – that’s the conclusion of the US intelligence community itself. As the Associated Press reported a few days ago, the consensus view of the US intelligence agencies is that Isis is just as powerful as it was a year ago, and they can replace fighters faster than they are getting killed. Like it does for every stagnant and endless war, this inconvenient fact will likely will only lead others to call for more killing, rather than an introspection on why continuing to bomb the same region for decades does not actually work. Perhaps we’re not firing missiles at a high enough rate, they’ll say, perhaps we need a full-scale ground invasion, or perhaps we need to kill more civilians to really damage the enemy (yes, this is an actual argument war mongers have been making). Speaking of civilian deaths, they’ve barely gotten mention in the media over the past twelve months, likely because the US military has, somewhat incredibly, only admitted to two civilians casualties in an entire year of airstrikes spanning multiple countries. A new report by journalists and researchers in the region argues that the real number is probably around 500 civilians. Good luck getting the US military to come close to acknowledging that, though. Despite credible reports about civilian casualties almost immediately after the war started, it took the US nearly six months to admit there were any at all. And it’s tougher than ever for members of the media to travel into these war zones, and even when they head over with military officials, they are tightly restricted. Advertisement For now, there are already plans to launch more drone strikes in Libya, increased air power in Syria and who knows what is in store for Iraq. What the next year will bring as US presidential candidates vie for who can be “tougher” against Isis is anyone’s guess. The war-hungry contingent is aided by an increasingly hysterical media which will gladly blare Isis’ terrorism message to maximum effect, while never asking if US actions are actually the thing causing so many terrorists to supposedly target the US. The New York Times front-page headline on Tuesday is a perfect example of the skeptical-free reporting that will keep the public rearing to go for more military action: “Isis or Al Qaeda? American Officials Split Over Top Terror Threat.” Still, not a single attack involving Isis inside the United States has occurred, but that hasn’t stopped government officials from proposing multiple new laws that would invade our privacy and erode our constitutional rights.

So what can be logically deduced from this catastrophic "epic fail" of American foreign and military policy, with billions spent for absolutely no positive result?!?

That ISIS itself is supported by the US government, and used as "the stick" with which to prod Americans into more grudging support of more ground wars of conquest in the Middle East and beyond? Wars that are not about freedom, democracy, and the "American way of life", but ultimately for private profit?!?

Because otherwise, the only thing that comes to mind, from a standpoint of military and governmental "planning' of this whole debacle, is the brilliant one-liner from the comedian Ron White: "You can't fix stupid!!"

EU Moves Toward Beefing Up Naval Mission Over Mediterranean Migrants

European Union member states are moving toward expanding the naval mission to intercept smuggler ships carrying migrants from Libya to Europe, officials said on Friday.
At a meeting of European affairs ministers this coming Monday in Luxembourg, the bloc will say the conditions now are in place for the EU operation to be expanded to a new, more operational phase.

European officials said on Friday that there was broad agreement among member states to begin boarding so-called noncompliant vessels in international waters. But there is less agreement about taking the additional step of entering Libyan territorial waters to confront smugglers close to shore.

Still, European officials have said no U.N. resolution is needed to forcibly board vessels in international waters. The operations, officials have said, would be undertaken to rescue migrants and ensure they aren’t trying to cross the Mediterranean in vessels that could easily capsize.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What on earth does that statement actually mean, " rescue migrants"?!?

Does that, in most practical terms, mean "repatriating" migrants to their country of origin, where they will most certainly die from the wars the US and Europe have created, in order for the US and Europe to expropriate resources to which they have absolutely no moral right?!?

In fact, would the European officials making these decisions be more comfortable with these migrants shooting, stabbing to death, or poisoning their children, and then committing suicide, so that Europe "wouldn't have to bother" with these war-generated waves of migration?!?

One has to wonder, reading between the lines here.

EU Allies Breaking With US on Syria, Want Russia Involved

Whereas the goal of the US from the beginning of the Syrian war in 2011 has been to destabilize the country and remove Assad by supporting ISIS, now Washington’s allies in Europe are calling for supporting Assad. It is a complete failure of US policy.

Reuters: Russian Boots on Ground in Syria Seeking to Destroy Western Created ISIS

U.S. officials said Russia sent two tank landing ships and additional cargo aircraft to Syria in the past day or so and deployed a small number of naval infantry forces.

The U.S. officials, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said the intent of Russia’s military moves in Syria was unclear. One suggested the focus may be on preparing an airfield near the port city of Latakia, a stronghold of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

U.S. officials have not ruled out the possibility that Russia may want to use the airfield for air combat missions.”

Trump bashes Obama before Ukrainian audience

"I know many people that live in the Ukraine," Trump said in his opening remarks during a question-and-answer session with Pinchuk and with Douglas Schoen, a former pollster for President Bill Clinton and Michael Bloomberg (among others) who was hired as a lobbyist for the group in 2011. "They're friends of mine. Victor is one example."

"It's amazing what you've had to endure," Trump said of the past year's conflict with Russia. "The spirit of the Ukrainian people is absolutely incredible."

Israel adds voice to concerns over Russia's role in Syria

Israel has joined a growing chorus of concern over a reported Russian military buildup in Syria in support of the beleaguered regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is funny to see the US hoisted on its own propaganda petard. The US and its gang members have justified the intense bombing of Syria by saying they are trying to kill ISIS and Al Qaeda, yet they keep missing ISIS and Al Qaeda and hitting critical Syrian infrastructure (triggering the refugee crisis), because the US' real target is and has been Assad! ISIS and Al Qaeda are just the manufactured excuse to make war on a nation that has not done anything to deserve it.

So along comes Russia, saying, "We will help you get ISIS and Al Qaeda" and the US is in a panic, because they very well cannot tell Russia to butt out when the public perception is that they are on the "good guys" side against those eeeeeeevil ISIS and Al Qaeda. If Russia does a good job of cleaning out ISIS and Al Qaeda (and they can), the US loses its cover for a war against Assad.

One more point nobody in the corporate media seems to have picked up on. Syria's government WANTS the Russians to be in Syria. The same cannot be said for the US, Israel, or any of the other plunderers of the Middle East.

Al Qaeda Leader Al-Zawahiri Declares War on ISIS 'Caliph' Al-Baghdadi

Just ahead of the fourteenth anniversary of al Qaeda's 9/11 attacks on the U.S., the leader of the terrorist group took aim in an angry speech at a mortal enemy -- but not American “crusaders” this time. Rather, the object of his tirade was the leader of ISIS in a declaration of war that will “irreconcilably” divide the two terror groups in a way the U.S. may be able to exploit, experts say.

Islamic State joins Syria's Assad in warning against fleeing to the West

The Islamic State (IS) militant group has warned Syrian refugees against seeking to flee to the West, saying it would be a "dangerous major sin" to take children to a place where "they are under the constant threat of fornication, sodomy, drugs and alcohol".

"Sadly some Syrians and Libyans are willing to risk the lives and souls of those whom they are responsible to raise... sacrificing many of them during the dangerous trip to the lands of the war-waging crusaders," said the latest issue of group's propaganda English-language magazine Dabiq.

"Be Our Guest": Russia Warns Washington Of "Unintended Incidents" In Syria

Reports of Iranian involvement come on the heels of rampant speculation about the scope of Russia’s military buildup near Latakia where US “intelligence” and a series of unnamed “Lebanese sources” claim Moscow is essentially preparing for a full-on push to rout any and all domestic opposition to the Assad regime. The question, of course, is what happens when foreign opposition to the Assad regime isn’t willing to accept the restoration of the strongman’s rule.

Predictably, there’s been no shortage of back-and-forth banter between John Kerry and Sergei Lavrov over the past several days. Here's how Lavrov characterizes the exchange:

“Kerry was also pushing the very strange idea that supporting Bashar Assad in his anti-terror fight only strengthens the positions of ISIS, because the sponsors of ISIS would pump even more arms and money into it,” Lavrov said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Kerry is saying the way to beat ISIS is to give ISIS what they want; Assad's removal. Of course, it is the UIS that has worked for Assad's removal for almost 4 years now!

Julian Assange Reveals Another 2006 Western Plan To Destroy Syria

By Brandon Turbeville

In his new book, The WikiLeaks Files, Julian Assange confirms what myself and others such as Webster Tarpley, Ziad Fadel, Tony Cartalucci, Mimi al-Laham, and Eric Draitser, have been stating for some time – that not only was there a coordinated Western attempt to destabilize and ultimately destroy Syria and the secular government of Bashar al-Assad, but that such an attempt was devised much earlier than 2011, when the “Arab Spring” color revolution protests began in earnest...

ISIS militants causing Middle East to 'DISINTEGRATE', says Israel PM Netanyahu

Mr Netanyahu, who is a bitter critic of the nuclear agreement, told Mr Cameron: “The Middle East is disintegrating under the twin forces of militant Islam – militant Sunnis led by ISIS and militant Shi-ites led by Iran.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

And, of course, Israel's constant attacking and bombing of its neighbors such as Gaza, West Bank, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, etc. has absolutely nothing to do with the turmoil in the Middle East, and anyone who says otherwise is just a filthy Jew-0hating anti-Semite who wants Hitler to come back and gas Jewish babies in the ovens, right?

The Judgement of History

When they turn the pages of history
When these days have passed long ago
Will they read of us with sadness
For the seeds that we let grow?
We turned our gaze
From the castles in the distance
Eyes cast down
On the path of least resistance

Cities full of hatred, fear and lies
Withered hearts and cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude and
Scoffing at the wise

US official: 'IS making and using chemical weapons in Iraq and Syria'

It is unlikely that militants found the chemical agent in Iraq, the official said, because the US military would have likely discovered it during the military campaign it waged in the country for about a decade.

The official said that militants were unlikely to have seized the chemical agent from the Syrian regime before the regime was forced to hand over its stockpile under the threat of US air strikes in 2013.

The most likely theory, the official said, was that it was being made using knowledge that is widely available, and pointed out that the mustard agent is not a complex chemical to produce.
