“Robocop” Charged with Felonies in Michigan Police Beating of Floyd Dent

The Michigan police officer known as “Robocop” is finally facing felony charges for the brutal beating of Floyd Dent, a 57-year-old man who was dragged out of his car and punched repeatedly, even though he never raised a finger towards officers.

Robocop aka William Melendez, who was fired from the Inkster Police Department last week after dash cam video of the incident surfaced a month earlier, is now facing up to 15 years in prison on felony charges.
