New York county just banned unvaccinated kids from all public places

Rockland County, New York just declared a state of emergency after more than 151 people have been diagnosed with measles. (Remember, most people think of an “outbreak” as lots and lots of sick people but medically speaking, it’s just two people.)

Officials announced that beginning on Wednesday at 12 a.m., “anyone under 18 who has not yet been vaccinated will be barred from public places until they receive the MMR vaccine or until the emergency declaration expires in 30 days.”1
