Pentagon reconsidering ground troops as Islamic State, al Qaeda join forces

President Obama’s top military advisers revealed Thursday that the administration is rethinking whether to deploy combat ground troops in the fight against the Islamic State, as signs emerged that the terrorist group may be setting aside its differences and is working with al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria — the Nusra Front — to attack U.S.-backed rebels in the region.

Okay, so let me get this straight. The US creates and funds two phony opposition groups who then go rogue, unite, and join the Iraqi people to kick the US puppet regime out of Baghdad, and after a flustercluck like that you expect us to pour what is left of our money and children into a third invasion of Iraq?

I don't think so.
