Attack on Saudi oil field a game-changer in Gulf confrontation Analysis by Tim Lister, CNN Updated 9:29 AM ET, Sun September 15, 2019 Reporter: 'Startlingly dangerous moment' in Middle East condor diverted flight map Spilled coffee diverted transatlanti

It is a game changer all right. A couple more strikes like this and it will be the end of the House of Saud!

(CNN)The attack on the world's largest oil processing plant early Saturday morning is a dramatic escalation in the confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia -- even if the Iranians didn't fire the drones or missiles responsible.

Several projectiles struck the Abiqaiq plant, starting a series of fires that quickly took out nearly half Saudi's oil production -- 5% of the global daily output -- and sparking fears about the security of the world's oil supplies.
It's unclear when Abiqaiq, which is operated by Saudi giant Aramco, will be fully operational again.

US, Israel negotiating mutual defense treaty: Trump

This is very dangerous. This is how WW1 and WW2 got started.

US President Donald Trump has confirmed on Twitter that he has spoken to his Israeli counterpart Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the prospects of signing a mutual defence treaty.

Saying such a pact would “further anchor the tremendous alliance between our two countries,” Trump said he looked “forward to continuing those discussions after the Israeli Elections,” during a meeting at the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Ready For War': IRGC General Says US Bases, Carriers Close to Iran Are Within Range of Its Missiles

The statement comes as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday blamed Iran for recent drone attacks on Saudi Aramco's oil fields, urging the international community "to publicly and unequivocally condemn Iran’s attacks".

Tehran has always been prepared for a full-fledged war, Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force Chief Amirali Hajizadeh said in a statement on Sunday, just a day after two drone attacks on oilfields in Saudi Arabia, which were claimed by Houthis and blamed by the US and Saudi Arabia on Tehran.

“Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers, at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran, are within the range of our missiles,” Hajizadeh said.

According to Hajizadeh, the Iranian military are ready to target two US bases and one carrier in the event of an armed conflict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh); Admiral Hajizadeh, we understand this.

But what I don't get is, if in fact these are the preparations being made ready for a fight against the US military, why are you broadcasting them to the entire world?!? It would seem to me that, rather than being a declaration for your coming actions, this information is deliberate disinformation, to prevent the US (and possibly Israel) from knowing what your true intentions are here.

I have to tell you, Admiral Hajizadeh, there are many in this country who detest the US's proclivity toward war, rather than making the choice for hard-one negotiations to bring peace; of course, we are no more in control of the institutions of power in our government... than are the Iranian people with theirs.

Israeli Attacks On Syria Halted After Russia Threatened To Shoot Down Jets

According to reports in both Israeli and Arabic regional media, Israel this past week was preparing to expand major airstrikes against "Iran-backed" targets in Syria, but Moscow imposed its red line. The Independent has published a story describing that Russia's military in Syria threatened to shoot down any invading Israeli warplanes using fighter jets or their S-400 system.

The Jerusalem Post, citing sources in the UK Independent (Arabia), writes just after the latest meeting in Sochi between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Only time will tell here; but now we know that there is someone who has "the titanium attributes" and that would be the Russian President Vlad (the Impaler) Putin, to confront Israel, and let it know it cannot assassinate people wherever, and whenever, they want to.

I hope and pray Putin stays strong on this issue.

The US and Israel are discussing a mutual defense treaty that would further cement the already “tremendous” alliance between the two countries, President Donald Trump has revealed.

The End of Israel

The lesson to be drawn from the current Israeli political stalemate is that Israel is imploding, breaking into the elements it has never managed to integrate into one. The schism is no longer the more quotidian dichotomy of Ashkenazi vs. Arab Jews (aka Sephardim); this divide is ideological, religious, spiritual, political, ethnic and cultural. Nor does it break down to Left and Right, Jewish Israelis are politically with the right even when they pretend to be ‘Left.’ Although some of the most astute critical voices of Israeli politics and Jewish fundamentalism are Israelis (such as Gideon Levi, Shlomo Sand, Israel Shamir and others), there is no political Israeli Left. Israeli politics break down into a lot of extreme right voters and many ordinary hawks. The Arab Joint List Party is practically the only Left party in the Israeli Knesset. This should not be surprising any more.

Why would Israel spy on Donald Trump?

Benjamin Netanyahu categorically denies a report in Politico that Israel placed sophisticated eavesdropping devices near the White House.

“We have a directive, I have a directive, no intelligence work in the United States, no spies. And it’s vigorously implemented, without any exception,” the Israeli prime minister said in response to the report.

“It is a complete fabrication, a complete fabrication.”

Amos Yadlin, a former Israeli intelligence chief, is even trying to discredit the Politico report with the usual smear of anti-Semitism:

Russia prevents Israeli airstrikes in Syria

According to the report, Moscow has prevented three Israeli airstrikes on three Syrian outposts recently, and even threatened that any jets attempting such a thing would be shot down, either by Russian jets or by the S400 Anti-aircraft missiles. The source cited in the report claims a similar situation has happened twice, and that during August, Moscow stopped an airstrike on a Syrian outpost in Qasioun, where a S300 missile battery is placed.

‘We have the most to lose, but no right to vote’: Palestinians under threat of annexation speak out on the upcoming Israeli elections

With only days left until Election Day in Israel, candidates are doubling down on their proposed policies and promises to voters. For Netanyahu, that means vows to annex swaths of West Bank land, and messages to voters about “Arabs annihilating us all.”

In what many analysts have likened to US President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016, much of this year’s race for Prime Minister in Israel has been colored by anti-Arab sentiment, race-baiting, and pandering to the far right.

GOP Reps return from AIPAC trip attacking BDS and implying that annexation might be the answer

In a September 10th speech, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he would annex a third of the West Bank if reelected. Netanyahu’s declaration comes just a month after dozens of congress members (Republicans and Democrats) traveled to Israel as part of a trip sponsored by the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF), a branch of AIPAC. Recent comments by Republican members of the delegation suggest that the trip is being sold as an indictment of the two-state solution and an attack on the BDS movement. These statements indicate that GOP support for Israel is moving beyond cynical two-state solution rhetoric and toward a more public embrace of Netanyahu’s annexation vision.

Israel Accused Of Spying On The U.S.; Trump Denies Despite Past Actions Of Espionage

By Aaron Kesel

The U.S. government has concluded that Israel set up cellphone surveillance devices that were found near the White House and other sensitive locations around Washington, D.C., according to three former senior U.S. officials with knowledge of the matter, NPR reported.

According to the website, the espionage actions were done through the use of Stingrays utilizing “international mobile subscriber identity-catchers” or IMSI-catchers which capture the contents of calls, text and data use.

This is according to forensic analysis, conducted by the FBI and other agencies working on the case that stated they felt confident that Israeli agents had placed the devices, according to the former officials to spoke to NPR...

Backlash as congresswoman drops support for bill to protect Palestinian children

Dearborn is known as the heart of Arab America.

Arabic store signs flank its streets; Lebanese and Yemeni restaurants dot its commercial districts and Arab immigrants and their descendants constitute the bulk of its population of about 95,000.

The Detroit suburb has been represented in Congress by the Dingell family for almost 55 years. Throughout the decades, the late John Dingell and his successor Congresswoman Debbie Dingell have maintained warm ties to the city's Arab community.

Despite that historical harmony, Arab-American advocates are demanding answers from Dingell after she withdrew her support for a bill that would bar US aid from contributing to the imprisonment of Palestinian children.

There’ll be no peace in the valley

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does like a visual presentation.

There was this one, and that Trump one, and of course, the bomb one.

And as Israelis prepare to vote next week in the second general election they’ve had this year, Netanyahu has been at it again.

This time, it’s a map of the Jordan Valley, the occupied West Bank region which Netanyahu is promising to annex to Israel should he lead the next Israeli government.

Now, as has been pointed out many times, people will say almost anything to get elected.

US counterintelligence officials reportedly say Israel probably planted surveillance devices near the White House; Israeli government issues strong denial

Israeli intelligence agents reportedly planted surveillance devices near the White House, according to reports from U.S. counterintelligence professionals.
What are the details?

On Thursday, Politico reported that state investigators discovered that Israel was likely behind the placement of StingRay phone trackers near the White House.
The investigation determined that Israeli intelligence agents reportedly intended to capture information from phones assigned to President Donald Trump and his administration.

One FBI official said that "it was pretty clear that the Israelis were responsible" for the devices.

Another official added, "The reaction ... was very different than it would have been in the last administration. With the current administration, there are a different set of calculations in regard to addressing this."

The outlet reported that the White House did not comment on the report, nor did the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, or the Secret Service.

Opposing Netanyahu, liberal Zionist group says: ‘Say Yes to Separation’ of Palestinians and Jews

Benjamin Netanyahu’s last-ditch campaign announcement yesterday that if he reelected he will annex West Bank settlements and the Jordan Valley has brought a divided response from American Jewish groups.

Right and center Zionist orgs have said nothing. AIPAC’s twitter feed doesn’t mention the big plan. The American Jewish Committee is praising John Bolton. Even the Democratic Majority for Israel group is quiet about annexation. They all surely approve the policy and don’t want to contribute to the divisiveness over Israel in U.S. politics.

But liberal Zionist groups are very upset about the announcement, as a threat to the “two state solution,” the Oslo dream of establishing a Palestinian state alongside Israel. Liberal Zionists believe they can only preserve Israel by separating Jewish and Palestinian majorities in adjacent states.

Days after Palestinian family evicted, Israel settlers move in to West Bank land

Just a few days after Israeli occupation forces expelled a Palestinian family from land in the southern occupied West Bank, an unauthorised settler outpost was established there, reported Haaretz.

Last month, Israeli authorities carried out the eviction of the Cassia family near Beit Jala, demolishing their home and a restaurant they had been operating on the same site.

The land is located in Area C of the occupied West Bank, where Palestinians are systematically denied construction permits by Israeli occupation authorities.

What About the Palestinian Citizens of Israel?

On June 11, the Foundation for Middle East Peace held a panel discussion at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC to discuss the current situation in Israeli-Palestinian relations, with a specific focus on the treatment of Palestinian citizens of Israel.

Jafar Farah, the founder and director of the Mossawa Center, the Advocacy Center for Arab Citizens in Israel, launched the conversation with remarks about the inequality Palestinian citizens of Israel encounter in everyday life. Israel’s 2018 Basic Law defines the country as the “nation-state of the Jewish people,” a classification that blatantly discriminates against the country’s Palestinian minority. “We cannot live in a reality where we are second-class citizens as a result of a constitutional law that says that Arabic is not the language of the state, and that segregated housing is legal,” Farah stated. He went on to call for a new paradigm in which equality and human rights, rather than nationalism, is stressed.

Former Pentagon official Michael Maloof joins Rick Sanchez to discuss Israel’s latest provocation, the likely regional response and the existential threat such a move would pose to the future of Palestine. Maloof argues that former national security advisor John Bolton emboldened Israel considerably and that his firing may in part have been to send a message to Netanyahu.

Israeli Warplane Bombs Several Areas in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced shortly after the attack that their warplane bombed 15 targets belonging to the Palestinian Hamas Movement, including a naval compound and several tunnels.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.

Prior to the bombings, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's, bodyguards rushed him to shelter in the southern Israeli city of Ashdod when the sirens sounded during a Tuesday evening rally, a week ahead of a general election.

Netanyahu was unhurt and several minutes later he continued his speech, which was broadcast live on social media by his right-wing Likud party.

EU reacts to Netanyahu's plans to annex Jordan Valley, calls any settlement 'illegal'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday his plans to annex the Jordan Valley in the West Bank as an election promise if he wins next time.

"Today, I announce my intention, after the establishment of a new government, to apply Israeli sovereignty to the Jordan Valley and the northern Dead Sea," Netanyahu said in a speech broadcast live on Israeli TV channels.

The prime minister said, however, that the move would be done after publication of a long-awaited US peace plan and consultations with US President Donald Trump.

Around 65,000 Palestinians and 11,000 Israeli settlers live in the Jordan Valley, according to the Israeli human rights group B'Tselem. The main Palestinian city is Jericho, with around 28 villages and smaller Bedouin communities.

For their part, the EU said they did not recognise any changes made to the pre-1967 borders and called any settlement plans "illegal under international law".

Israel is still planning to displace even more Palestinians

Since the 1948 Nakba when Israel was created in the historic land of Palestine, which resulted in the ethnic cleansing of more than 700,000 Palestinians from their homeland, successive Israeli governments have continued to propose political and demographic plans for the displacement of more Palestinians from the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and from within Israel itself. This is all with the aim of creating an ethnically pure “Jewish state” emptied of its indigenous population.

Haaretz editor: ‘for the Palestinians murder is a type of sport, perhaps a substitute for erotica’

This is what the editor of Haaretz’s Culture and Literature supplement, Benny Ziffer, wrote on his Facebook page upon returning from paying a condolence call in the settlement of Ofra:

“En route I looked at the Palestinian villages alongside the Jewish communities, and I thought of how for the Palestinians murder is a type of sport or enjoyment, perhaps a substitute for erotica. From that perspective we will never have anything culturally in common with them.”

And if that weren’t enough, Ziffer also wrote, “Regarding this evil and undignified people living among us, we can only yearn for the land to vomit it out, because it isn’t worthy of this land, which is full of Jewish blood that it has spilled.”

More Americans Questioning Official 9/11 Story As New Evidence Contradicts Official Narrative

Authored by Whitney Webb via MintPressNews.com,

Today the event that defined the United States’ foreign policy in the 21st century, and heralded the destruction of whole countries, turns 18. The events of September 11, 2001 remains etched into the memories of Americans and many others, as a collective tragedy that brought Americans together and brought as well a general resolve among them that those responsible be brought to justice.

While the events of that day did unite Americans in these ways for a time, the different trajectories of the official relative to the independent investigations into the September 11 attacks have often led to division in the years since 2001, with vicious attacks or outright dismissal being levied against the latter.

Webmaster's Commentary:

We do not need new investigations; we know precisely what happened on 9/11, and who the real criminals and tyrants were, to bring about this horrific spectacle of death and destruction into being.

This event allowed the US to slide ever further into a dictatorship from which it may never recover, and was manipulated by unscrupulous US politicians and elements of overseas countries, who wanted to see this happen, as a premise for war against both Afghanistan and Iraq.

And unless and until those truly responsible for this heinous crime are charged, tried, and convicted for their crimes against both humanity, and the true democratic republic of the United States of America, there will never be closure here.

But do not hold your breath; the monied, particularly those career criminals ensconced in the higher echelons of the US Deep State and Military Industrial Complex, rarely eat their own.

DIRTY POLITICS IN A DIRTY LITTLE COUNTRY

When I wrote about Netanyahu’s election campaign, his regime and his methods in March, I did not know how recent this article would be, so I can use it again. The system Netanyahu and family can not be beaten for recklessness. So, if elected again on 17 September at his instigation, then his racist and undemocratic methods have again increased. Will attacks and wars against Syria, Lebanon and Iran soon be the icing on the cake in Netanyahu’s election campaign? Is there any other state besides the Jewish, where it is possible that in addition to oppression, Corruption and lawlessness deprives a people of their rights – and all this without consequences? For example, while Turkey and Russia and their favorite enemies Putin and Erdogan are constantly demonized in the German media, Netanyahu enjoys an unbearable fool’s freedom.

Netanyahu Risks Triggering an Unwinnable War to Avoid Losing Election

Every Israeli prime minister – not least Benjamin Netanyahu – understands that a military entanglement with Hezbollah, Lebanon’s armed Shia movement on Israel’s northern border, is a dangerous wager, especially during an election campaign.

It was Shimon Peres who lost to Netanyahu in 1996, weeks after the former prime minister had incensed Israel’s Palestinian minority – a fifth of the population – by savagely attacking Lebanon in a futile bid to improve his military, and electoral, standing.

Gantz heads the allegedly center-left opposition coalition hoping to unseat Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel’s elections later this month.

In a campaign attack on Israel’s prime minister, Monday, Gantz declared that, unlike Netanyahu, he would have allowed US congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to visit Israel and the occupied territories.

Had they visited, Gantz claimed, they would have seen “with their own eyes” that “the best place to be an Arab in the Middle East is in Israel … and the second best place to be an Arab in the Middle East is the West Bank.”

Last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for a boycott of the HBO docudrama Our Boys. This month, a global pro-Israel campaign is promoting The Spy, a new series on Netflix starring Sacha Baron Cohen.

Our Boys dramatizes the events that occurred after three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped and murdered in the West Bank in June 2014, leading to the brutal killing of Palestinian teenager by Israelis and ultimately the Gaza War of that summer. In a Facebook post, Netanyahu denounced the series as “anti-Semitic” and said that it “gives a bad and false name to Israel.” He also called for people to boycott the show, along with the Israeli company Keshet who co-produced it. Netanyahu has previously criticized Keshet for its coverage of the Prime Minister’s corruption scandals.

Abbas: If Israel takes Palestinian land, all deals are off

Abbas’ remarks came in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement that he would annex the Jordan Valley and a number of settlements if he wins next week’s Israeli election.

Abbas stressed that Palestinians “have the right to defend our rights and achieve our goals by all available means, regardless of the consequences.”

World War Bibi

Yesterday Netanyahu claimed he’d identified a third secret nuclear site in Iran where Iran allegedly “conducted experiments to develop nuclear weapons.” Yet, despite the hyperbole no one seemed to take Netanyahu seriously: the Israeli press was amused by the desperate election stunt. His political rivals mocked the Israeli PM and a few hours after Netanyahu’s press conference his best ally, President Trump, expressed his wish to meet President Hassan Rouhani. Somehow, world leaders were entertained by seeing the Israeli PM, who threatens the entire region with his country’s nuclear arsenal, performing his victim spiel over Iran’s nuclear enthusiasms.

ADELSONS TOLD POLICE SARA NETANYAHU IS 'CRAZY' AND 'DECIDES EVERYTHING'

SOURCE: HAARETZ.COM
Multi-billionaire Sheldon Adelson, once Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s key supporter, and his wife Miriam testified to police that Sara Netanyahu was “crazy” and that “she decides everything,” including key appointments and even some political matters, in the Netanyahu household, Channel 13 reported Sunday.

“She’s completely crazy,” said Sheldon Adelson, publisher of the Israel Hayom daily. “She was compulsive about photos of herself and how she looked. She said ‘I’m the first lady, I’m a psychologist and I teach children about psychology.’ ... She would tell my wife that if Iran attacked it would be her fault … because we didn’t publish good pictures of her,” said Adelson, a leading donor to Israeli and Jewish causes as well as to the Republican Party.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The timing of these revelations could not possibly have been worse for Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is looking at the political fight of his life, as Israel's next general elections fall on Tuesday, 17 September.

Both he and and his wife are dealing with corruption charges, and those charges, are not going away.

All animals are at their most dangerous when they are wounded; and right now, Netanyahu is a severely, geopolitically, wounded animal right now, with time running out before the election; I am deeply concerned that in order to "change the conversation" (or, more plainly, misdirect the Israeli electionate), Netanyahu may feel compelled to stage some kind of false flag strike against Lebanon; Iran; or Gaza, or all 3, over the coming weekend, and blaming the attack on them.

Damn, I hope to heck I am wrong here.

PAM ANDERSON, MEGHAN MCCAIN, AND WAR CRIMES

SOURCE: KURTNIMMO.BLOG

Thanks to “public” education (indoctrination) and the corporate media, far too few Americans understand the founders designed a constitutional republic. Instead, we’re told America is a “democracy”—the ideal of mob rule—and we all have a role to play in deciding who will lead the nation.

This is, of course, nonsense. We are spectators in the bleachers of the three-ring circus of national elections. The state is run by and for the sake of the financial class and transnational corporations. The election of handpicked yesmen (and women) every four and eight years is routinely portrayed as the will of the people.

This is why Donald Trump is a big problem—he went around the political class and made grandiose promises (deep-sixed after the election) and this is why so many Americans voted for him and why the state and its professional careerist class of politicians hate him and want him impeached, even dead.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The pattern, here, has been crystal clear and painfully obvious; destabilize a government not to the US government's liking; replace that government with one that is to the US government's liking; invite corporations the US government likes (and from whom top US political leaders get overt, and covert support for their campaigns); allow those corporations to expropriate resources to which they, nor the US government ,have any moral right; and sell those resources only in American dollars.

Wash; rinse; repeat. I mean, folks, could this be any simpler?!?

Julian Assange was simply "the messenger", about the absolute, metastasizing, core-deep rot at the center of the bowels of power in this government, which is why so many people in power hate him, and want to see him dead.

That said, I do not believe that the deep state in this country will "Epsteinize" him; perhaps, as most likely happened with Jack Ruby, Assange may find himself fighting an "incurable disease", and he will die right before any legal process can begin.

And if you are shaking you head that this could not be possible, kindly read the following: Biological Warfare: Is it possible to weaponize cancer? 3 Answers

The article goes on to state: 'Luckily for us, cells that don't play by the rules as per the above can be killed off by natural killer (NK) cells, which can easily lyse (under normal conditions, anyway) cells lacking MHC proteins.

However- and this is where the potential for weaponization in humans comes in- recent research seems to indicate that NK cells can't just lyse something that doesn't display MHC proteins- they also need stimulation from at least one of a wide variety of surface ligands. If someone was able to make a cancer cell line that selectively knocked out both components in the MHC display system and a wide variety of these NK-activating ligands, that cancer cell line would probably be invulnerable to a human immune system.

Of course, you'd still have to go around injecting people with these cells, which is why it'd make for an awful weapon of mass destruction.'

But... what if you only needed a few dead, and to make the origins of their disease... untraceable?!? Please be aware that US alphabet soup agencies are already light years ahead of other civilian research in areas like this.

NETANYAHU ACCUSES IRAN OF SECRET NUCLEAR WEAPONS SITE

SOURCE: ALJAZEERA.COM
Iran was clandestinely developing nuclear weapons but destroyed a secret site after Israel discovered it, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alleged on Monday.

Tehran had been developing atomic arms at a facility in Abadeh, south of Iranian city of Isfahan, said Netanyahu. It was the first time the prime minister identified the site after publicly accusing Iran of building a bomb last year while citing a trove of Iranian documents allegedly stolen by Israeli agents from an Iranian warehouse.

"In this site, Iran conducted experiments to develop nuclear weapons," Netanyahu said, adding after Israeli intelligence found out about it, "they destroyed the site. They just wiped it out".

The prime minister did not provide further details on the alleged experiments, or say when they purportedly were held.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Prime Minister Netanyahu, a word, please.

You have been consistently tossing out absolutely wildly unsubstantiated claims over the past several years, at every forum you could find, in which you have accused Iran, over and over, of having secret nuclear weapons labs.

So please, let the IAEA do its job, and it will; period, end of discussion.

I, and the world, understand that it is precisely 7 days from now, when Israel will have its next General Election, with every seat in the Knesset up for grabs; and this is not lost on people who understand that, due to corruption charges and other issues, you are fighting for your political life, during this period.

And if, sir, you and the IDF are planning any kind of a decap strike against Tehran, to make you look absolutely "war-centric" to the Israeli electorate, I would strongly caution you all to not do this.

I don't know if you, or any of your advisors happened to read the following story, but think you, and your advisors, need to perhaps take another look at it, so I am doing you the courtesy of re-posting: Iran won't be alone, if the US attacks,Russian official says

A US/Israeli decap strike on Iran, with Russia coming in on Iran's side?!?

Sir, I certainly hope that I am not the only one on this planet who cannot sleep at night, considering how such a potential scenario, conveniently right before the Israeli elections, might well unfold.

The other possibility, which would absolutely stun the world, is that you and Iran's Hasan Rouhani, cobble together a peace, trade, and cooperation treaty, forestalling a war between Israel and Iran; of course, that will only happen when pigs discover they can fly, because Israel's government has become superb at manipulating its "fear dynamic" against their own people, so that everything, from killing an unarmed Palestinian child, to creating World War III,can always be justified by that government.

SAUDI ENERGY MINISTER CONFIRMS PLAN TO ENRICH URANIUM

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE
Among the most underreported but explosive stories of the past six months has been growing signs of Saudi Arabia's nuclear ambitions. But now there are new questions over whether the kingdom's future planned two nuclear power reactors will be limited to purely energy-related and peaceful purposes.

On Monday the kingdom's nuclear energy minister said Saudi Arabia wants to enrich uranium for its nuclear power program, Reuters reports — an announcement likely to hinder talks with Washington over American companies' potential help in establishing its atomic energy program.

"The world’s top oil exporter says it wants to use nuclear power to diversify its energy mix, but enrichment also opens up the possibility of military uses of uranium," Reuters noted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Golly Gee, Whillakers!!! What could POSSIBLY go wrong with that!

JUST what the US government desperately (doesn't) need more of right now; yet another Middle Eastern despotic autocracy, in the possession of nuclear weapons!! To potentially use against whom, I wonder?!?

Are the Saudis going to sign the NNPT before they begin this development?!? I sure as hell wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Will they allow IAEA specialists to monitor their work in this direction?!? Again, I would not hold my breath on it.

And even though toward the end of this March, President Trump authorized a secret nuclear power project for Saudi Arabia, US Approves Secret Nuclear Power Deal for Saudi Arabia apparently, it was too little, too late, because an already nuclear-armed Pakistan was in serious dialogue with the Saudis about assisting the Saudis with their nascent nuclear program.

We have a story, datelined March of this year, which sheds some light on this possibility:

How Cash-Strapped Pakistan could get Sucked into Saudi/Iran Rivalry

This article goes on to state:

'Saudi Arabia announced $20 billion in infrastructure and energy investments for the cash-strapped country of 200 million, which is currently on the brink of financial crisis.

Many of the projects are located in Pakistan’s impoverished and restive Balochistan region, which lies along the 565-mile border with Saudi arch-rival Iran.'

Pakistan certainly had the means, the motive, and opportunity here to create a nuclear armed nation in Saudi Arabia.

I sense that President Trump absolutely did not see this coming, and has been totally blindsided by Saudi Arabia's desire for both nuclear energy, and a nuclear bomb; I mean, the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Prince Salman, is one of Trump's BBFs in the Middle East, (along with the Israeli Butcher of Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu), right?!?

Mr. President, I am sorry, but with the US government's giving so much military and monetary aid to Israel when it is illegal, under both the Symington Amendment and The Mann act (requiring that every nuclear nation become a signatory to the NNPT, and have their nuclear sites inspected, as has Iran), demonstrates to the world, incontrovertibly, that US foreign policy in the Middle East, has made an absolute, necrotic hash of their nuclear proliferation doctrine.

This... is a flustercluck, writ large, Mr. President.

I think that the American people have the right to know, just how you intend on "fixing" this, sir; because it appears to me that the nuclear "Genie" has well and truly left the bottle, and cannot be convinced to return.

Hamas ‘to foil Israel plot against Palestinian right of return’

A senior leader of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has warned that Hamas will thwart any plot designed by the Israeli regime to target Palestinian refugees’ right of return to Palestine.

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, made the remark during a speech at a gathering in the besieged Gaza Strip on Sunday, accusing US and Israeli media of encouraging Palestinians to emigrate from their homeland.

“The issue of refugees has been the target of a conspiracy since the beginning of the first refugee displacement and expulsion,” he said.

“Today, more than any time in the past, we need a clear and national strategic plan in order to face this dangerous plot,” which is “against al-Quds, against the refugees, against our land and against human beings.”

Netanyahu trying to push US into war against Iran in favor of Israel: Expert

An American author and Middle East expert tells Press TV’s The Debate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to have the United States wage a war against Iran.

The Israeli premier “and the hard right-wing Zionist extremists in Tel Aviv [are] trying to get the US to fight Iran for the benefit of Israel,” Kevin Barrett said on the program from Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday.

He cited an article published by The New York Times Magazine earlier in September, which had blamed Netanyahu for being “behind the US’s enmity with Iran.”

Netanyahu Fighting for His Political Life

New elections were called after Netanyahu failed to cobble together enough support for reelection as prime minister. He remains interim PM.

On September 17, Israelis go to the polls again to elect a prime minister and Knesset members.

Ten parties are competing for seats. Polls show Netanyahu-led Likud and Benny Gantz/Yair Lapid’s Blue and White party are each projected to win 31 of 120 Knesset seats, according to polls.

Throughout Jewish state history, Israeli coalitions governed, no single party ever winning a majority on its own.

Today extremist right-wing parties dominate Israel’s political landscape, reflecting hardline rule, democracy pure fantasy as in the West.

Netanyahu is desperate to retain power ahead of an October pre-indictment hearing on bribery, fraud, and breach of trust charges, strong evidence against him.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; Netanyahu has exactly 8 days in which to create some kind of war which might, under some circumstances, possibly postpone the elections until he feels he has a "safe majority" of coalitions which will protect him, or create an all-out war against Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon, hoping he looks "butch enough" to win the next elections.

However, the Israeli price in blood and money spent for such operations, looks terribly steep, from where I sit; I would respectfully and sincerely caution Prime Minister Netanyahu not take this road. Your people are emotionally exhausted by the steady diet of fear and anger, when there are so many other options which could be pursued, in the name of peace, and prosperity, for both Israel, and all other neighboring countries in the region.

Hezbollah Shoots Down Israeli Surveillance Drone Over South Lebanon

Two weeks after the first significant Israel-Hezbollah exchange of fire since the 2006 war, Hezbollah announced Monday it has downed another Israeli drone in southern Lebanon, The Washington Post reports.

A Hezbollah media statement said the group had "confronted" the Israel drone with "appropriate weapons" near the southern town of Ramiyeh, indicating the small drone was shot down. The paramilitary group now has the drone in its possession.

However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) denied its surveillance drone was shot down, only saying it had crashed in the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning. The IDF affirmed it had been conducting a reconnaissance mission in the area.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that Hezbollah is gaining quite a large degree of sophistication in terms of taking out Israeli drones; one has to wonder just what Israel's next move here will be, because they have always stated that their military superiority over Hezbollah cannot be overcome.

It appears that Hezbollah... has proven Israel wrong.

THE CIA, MOSSAD AND "EPSTEIN NETWORK” ARE EXPLOITING MASS SHOOTINGS

Following the arrest and subsequent death in prison of alleged child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, a little-known Israeli tech company began to receive increased publicity, but for all the wrong reasons. Not long after Epstein’s arrest, and his relationships and finances came under scrutiny, it was revealed that the Israeli company Carbyne911 had received substantial funding from Jeffrey Epstein as well as Epstein’s close associate and former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak, and Silicon Valley venture capitalist and prominent Trump backer Peter Thiel.

US Waives Human Rights Conditions To Release $1.3BN In Military Aid To Sisi's Egypt

Aside from Saudi Arabia's MbS, the other long forgotten about Middle East autocratic ally of the United States known for arresting journalists, authors and activists is President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

The strongman known lately for aggressively cracking down on civil liberties, including muzzling journalists and throwing media figures and activists in jail, is also set to rule for another solid decade, given months ago Egyptian parliament approved constitutional changes to allow the sitting president to stay in power until 2030.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And if this sends you into a near projectile vomit episode, please remember the following: The US sends Israel billions every year Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $142.3 billion (current, or noninflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding., and of course, there is an absolute waiver of rights on how Israel treats the Palestinians.

Israel Launches Unprovoked Attacks: Uses Its Firepower, Far And Wide

Israel recently has been expanding its military attacks across much of the Middle East, hitting multiple countries. The aggressive campaign far outpaces anything any adversaries of Israel have been doing to it, or even trying unsuccessfully to do to it. Over the past two years Israel has used combat aircraft to conduct scores of attacks in Syria. Israel has stayed silent about most of this campaign of bombardment, but when it speaks it says the targets it hits are associated with Iran. The most recent widening of Israel's assaults have involved Lebanon, including drone attacks on facilities in suburban Beirut associated with Hezbollah ... The most dramatic geographic widening of the Israeli assault came last month with multiple attacks, reportedly conducted with F-35s, in Iraq - which, of course, does not even border Israel.

NOW IT’S OFFICIAL: US VISA CAN BE DENIED IF YOU (OR EVEN YOUR FRIENDS) ARE CRITICAL OF AMERICAN POLICIES

SOURCE: STRATEGIC-CULTURE.ORG
(SC Op-Ed) — There have been several interesting developments in the United States government’s war on free speech and privacy.

First of all, the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP), which is responsible for actual entry of travelers into the country, has now declared that it can legally access phones and computers at ports of entry to determine if there is any subversive content which might impact on national security.

“Subversive content” is, of course, subjective, but those seeking entry can be turned back based on how a border control agent perceives what he is perusing on electronic media.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF you have been in denial about living in a "soft, but hardening" dictatorship", I think the above article should be a very strident wake-up call, that you have been utterly dead wrong about this.

Unfortunately, neither Mike nor I can ever visit Israel; and as a Christian pacifist activist, I would love to go.

But sadly, as people who want to see both a flowering Israel and a flowering Palestine, and do support BDS, because economics is a language Israelis understand well, I understand fully, that this can never happen.

Given this reality, we would probably get so physically beaten up at Ben-Gurion Airport, courtesy of the IDF, and thrown, head first, on a flight back to the mainland, that we would most probably be wheelchair-bound for the rest of our lives, were we idiotic enough to try to go.

Hell, look at what happened to peace activists on the Flotilla of the Mari Marave, 2010: As mentioned in wikipedia.com: Gaza Flotilla Raid, 2010 The article goes on to state:

" The Gaza flotilla raid was a military operation by Israel against six civilian ships of the "Gaza Freedom Flotilla" on 31 May 2010 in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea. Nine activists were killed on one ship during the raid and ten Israeli soldiers were wounded, one seriously. One further Turkish activist died later of his wounds. Three of the six flotilla ships, organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the Turkish Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (İHH), were carrying humanitarian aid and construction materials, with the intention of breaking the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. Israel had warned the flotilla to abort their mission, describing it as a provocation.[1]

So, peace activists, desperately trying to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza, and their travels to get there, are characterized by the Israeli government as a "provocation"?!?

Kindly remember this incident, when any Pro-Israeli Influencer you know, tries, desperately to remind you, that "Israel is the 'only democracy in the Middle East'.
And also, take a look at how Israel is briskly annexing lots of land in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, the result of which will be the prevention of a contiguous State of Palestine... from ever being realized.

Iran’s Legitimate Ballistic Missile Program Solely for Defense

Judge them by their actions, warrior states, global menace nations, threatening everyone everywhere.

The Islamic Republic of Iran never attacked another country preemptively. It’s the leading regional proponent of peace and stability.

It’s targeted by the US for regime change because of its sovereign independence, support for Palestinian rights, and its vast hydrocarbon resources Washington seeks control over.

It’s also Israel’s main regional rival, the Jewish state and the US wanting pro-Western puppet rule replacing its sovereign independence.

Israel said again mulling raid on Iran; thinks Trump, unlike Obama, won’t oppose

Israeli officials are currently considering the possibility of conducting a military strike on Iran, with or without the approval of the United States, The New York Times reported Wednesday. They believe US President Donald Trump could decide not to stand in the way of such an attack, unlike his predecessor Barack Obama, the paper reported Wednesday in an exposé that detailed the lows and highs of the Israel-US relationship in the face-off against the Islamic Republic over the past decade.

“Once again, more than a decade after they first raised the subject with American officials, Israeli officials have been considering the possibility of a unilateral strike against Iran,” said the report. “Unlike with Bush and Obama, there is greater confidence that Trump wouldn’t stand in the way."

Stuxnet virus attack details emerge as Israel eases cyber weapons sale restrictions

The Stuxnet virus that decimated Iran’s nuclear program was introduced by a Dutch mole working with the CIA and Mossad, intelligence sources claimed, as Israel is shopping its cyber weapons to anyone with cash to buy.

An Iranian engineer was recruited by the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD, acting under the direction of the CIA and Mossad, to infect some 2,000 Iranian nuclear centrifuges with the catastrophic Stuxnet virus, which set that country’s nuclear program back years, according to intelligence sources who spoke to Yahoo News.

The mole, who posed as a mechanic, reportedly provided data that was critical to helping the virus’ developers shape their code to specifically target the systems at the Natanz plant where it was ultimately unleashed, then helped get the virus onto the plant computers using a flash drive.

One Last Ceasefire Before Oblivion for Jihadists in Syria

If the battle is won, in essence, and the jihadists on the run, why call a ceasefire now?

The Israeli Lobby Is the Deep State

If Trump was going to sell out to anything, of course it would be to money. Big surprise, the guy that plates his mansions in gold sells out to the vast empire of Zionist wealth. Someone with his kind of money can only be envious of the groups that have more money than him, which for the last 200 years is the Zionist Rothschilds who own Israel. So, when we hear someone like David Ochs talk about the AIPAC funding network, in reality he is talking about the Rothschilds who literally own stakes in the biggest financial institutions on the planet. That is the funding network spoken about, that is why so many want AIPAC money, because it brings them that much closer to those who own the world.

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior commander at the Iraqi defense ministry revealed that the American forces disabled the radars which could trace the intruding Israeli drones during attacks on Hashd al-Shaabi (popular forces).
"The American radars that the Iraqi government imported to protect the country's airspace, are under the control of the US forces deployed in Iraq," the commander who called for anonymity told the Arabic-language al-Ma'aloumeh news website on Tuesday.

Israel’s Infamous USS Liberty Attack

On June 8, 1967, during Israel’s preemptive Six-Day War, an act of aggression, against regional Arab states planned years in advance, IDF pilots and navy attack boats provocatively struck the USS Liberty intelligence gathering ship, about 25.5 nautical miles northwest of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula in international waters.

The incident took 34 US lives, another 171 wounded, the vessel severely damaged, lucky to stay afloat.

Jeffrey Epstein and the Zionist culture of dehumanising the “Other”

Gilad Atzmon views the culture of dismissing the “Other” that lay behind the paedophile scandal of Jeffrey Epstein and his collaborators – the same culture underlining the “institutional disregard for human life that is symptomatic of Israeli policy and is supported by its forceful lobby around the world”.>>

Iraqi Parliament Group Calls Alleged Israeli Strikes 'Declaration of War', Demands US Troops Exit

The Fatah Coalition, an influential bloc in the Iraqi Parliament, has called recent airstrikes on the country, allegedly conducted by Israel, a “declaration of war” by the Jewish state and stated that it holds the US fully responsible for Tel Aviv's actions. In light of this, the coalition has called for the withdrawal of the about 5,000 remaining American soldiers from Iraq.

Lebanon's President Announces Israeli Attacks Are "Declaration Of War

After pro-Iran allies in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq were all hit in suspected Israeli strikes in the space of less than 24 hours, signalling a new aggression out of Tel Aviv and willingness to risk yet another major Middle East war, Arab capitals are now alerting their armed forces to be on a war footing.

Lebanese President Michel Aoun on Monday condemned the "Israeli assault on the southern suburbs of Beirut" and told the country's United Nations Special Coordinator, that the recent spate of drone strikes on Lebanon amount to a "declaration of war".

Webmaster's Commentary:

One had to be living under a rock, not to have seen this coming.

And the timing, in terms of Israeli elections, couldn't possibly be more transparent. As we understand, the next Israeli elections will happen as follows:
Israeli Elections will happen on 17 September, 2019, and all 120 Knesset seats are "up for grabs".

That's a whole 24 days from today, folks.

I'm almost surprised that Netanyahu didn't order Israeli media to livestream these attacks, with a heavy rock beat in the background, so the Israeli people would just fall on their knees in admiration of how "butch" he and the Israeli military are, and then loop them, with nothing else allowed to be shown on Israeli media, prior to September's election.

And I also have to wonder; was President Trump advised of these attacks beforehand; or only when they were already a "fait accompli"?!?

It very clearly appears that this hubristic megalomaniac, is perfectly comfortable in starting a regional, or world war, just to save his backside as Prime Minister.

People are generally reluctant to change leadership, in the middle of a shooting war, and that is the general reality, upon which Netanyahu is betting right now.

And do not think, for one millisecond, as the 2020 US campaign lurches forward, and devolves from Russiagate to "Racistgate", that President Trump, and the US will not be called upon to defend the allegedly "only democracy in the Middle East".

This is, of course, an absolute crock of codswallop, for those who unthinkingly wish to swallow it whole.
