Louisiana Police Pull Over Activist at Behest of BP

Wheelan: "Am I violating any laws or anything like that?"

Officer: "Um...not particularly. BP doesn't want people filming."

Wheelan: "Well, I'm not on their property so BP doesn't have anything to say about what I do right now."

Officer: "Let me explain: BP doesn't want any filming. So all I can really do is strongly suggest that you not film anything right now. If that makes any sense."

Not really! Shortly thereafter, Wheelan got in his car and drove away but was soon was pulled over.

It was the same cop, but this time he had company: Kenneth Thomas, whose badge, Wheelan told me, read "Chief BP Security." The cop stood by as Thomas interrogated Wheelan for 20 minutes, asking him who he worked with, who he answered to, what he was doing, why he was down here in Louisiana.

Obama won't waive Jones Act , vows, "Let my BP's oil flow"

Murdock: Jones Act another problem in fixing Gulf spill
Posted: Sunday, June 20, 2010
By DEROY MURDOCK Scripps Howard News Service
As a self-proclaimed "citizen of the world," President Obama should have welcomed rather than spurned international assistance to prevent BP's underwater oil geyser from wrecking the Gulf Coast. But spurn, he did. Obama's failure to waive the Jones Act still maintains a sea wall that blocks potentially helpful foreign ships from this tear-inducing mess.
""If there is the need for any type of waiver, that would obviously be granted," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs promised on June 10. "But, we've not had that problem thus far in the Gulf.""

Highest Risk Chemical Plant in U.S. Fails Security Inspection

"Our inspection shows that the chemical disaster scenario that Kuehne has given to the EPA is as unrealistic as the estimates BP first gave about the size of their Deepwater oil rig blow out," said Rick Hind, Greenpeace Legislative Director. "Kuehne's scenario is based on a fraction of the nearly 2 million pounds of chlorine gas they may have on site. In contrast, the Clorox Company announced plans in November to convert all of their U.S. facilities to safer processes. Instead of taking similar action, Kuehne is asking for a $50 million hand-out from taxpayers."

Russia seeks US 'guarantees' on Iran

Russia wants the US to guarantee that its unilateral sanctions imposed against Iran over its nuclear program will not affect Russian companies, a Kremlin aid says.

Sergei Prikhodko, a senior Kremlin adviser on foreign policy, told reporters in Moscow on Tuesday that Russia has been affected by previous UN Security Council sanctions on Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to Sergei Prikhodko: I doubt that these US unilateral sanctions will be changed after they have been passed by Congress.

Unfortunately, these sanctions are merely a prelude to the war which feels as though it is coming quickly to Iran.

The US has 11 battleships and 1 Israeli ship, plus three dolphin-class nuclear subs already prepositioned in the Persian Gulf.

This amount of military hardware is rarely put into an area, unless those countries owning that hardware are intent upon some some kind of military strike.

Russia pushing for control of fuel supplies to crucial US airbase

Russia is pushing to impose a direct fuel supply deal on the US's airbase in Kyrgyzstan that would allow it to force a rapid closure of the base once it is no longer necessary to support Nato operations in Afghanistan.

"Ultimately it's in the security interests of Russia for the US to be using this base for its operations in Afghanistan, but under a very, very strict mandate," said Ana Jelenkovic, Central Asia analyst at Eurasia Group.

"If Russia is able to monitor the destination of the fuel, it limits the ability of the US to stay there in the base long-term. It makes the Americans staying there at Manas contingent always on some Russian support."

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is not a deal that NATO and the US are probably keen to have happen, but it may be the only way to keep the US base at Manas supplied.

General Stanley McChrystal offers resignation to President Barack Obama

General Stanley McChrystal has offered his resignation to President Barack Obama after he was summoned to the White House to explain derisive comments he made about the US leader and his administration.

Fannie, Freddie Could Cost $389 Billion

For all the focus on the historic federal rescue of the banking industry, it is the government’s decision to seize Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in September 2008 that reportedly is likely to cost taxpayers the most money.

The Congressional Budget Office has predicted that the final bill could reach $389 billion.

Middle class shackled by banking debt chains.

The middle class has been systematically shackled by large amounts of debt, banking debt to be exact in a new form of financial serfdom. Much of this started in the early 1970s on par with the deficits don’t matter policy that engulfed our monetary policy for the next four decades. Like any giant structure built on debt, there is usually a point where a sort of debtor’s spiral will hit. Many middle class Americans have seen this occur with their credit card debt, mortgages, and auto loans. This also comes at a time when we have a record amount of two (or more) income households. More people are working under one roof but earning less and less in low paying service sector jobs.

Lebanon: Israel fully responsible for any attack

In response to Israel's warning that it would stop aid boats to Gaza, Lebanon says will go ahead with planned flotilla, hold Israel accountable for any attack on ships.

The vessel would need Cypriot authorization to depart for Gaza from its shores, but officials in Cyprus said on Tuesday that the island was keeping in place a ban on ships departing for Gaza.

Organizers in Lebanon have said they may change course before reaching the island and head straight towards the Palestinian territory.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Lebanese flotilla is being crewed by Lebanese Christian women, some of them nuns.

The Israeli military may well sink the Lebanese flotilla, blame Lebanon, and use this as the excuse for reinvading Lebanon.

IDF strengthening ties with Chinese military

In another sign of the growing importance Israel attributes to China in the battle against Iran’s nuclear program, OC Home Front Command Maj.-Gen. Yair Golan flew to Beijing Saturday night at the head of an Israeli military delegation, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

Golan will hold talks with top Chinese military and defense officials on a wide range of issues pertaining to Israeli security, including the Iranian nuclear threat.

Ties with China are a sensitive issue for the IDF. In 2005, a crisis erupted between the Defense Ministry and the Pentagon, which accused Israel of selling American military technology to China.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: this meeting is about briefing Chinese leadership on the impending military attack against Iran.

And one has to wonder, in light of the very intense integration between the US and Israeli military, just what American military technology Tel Aviv is offering the Chinese military this time as the "bribe" not to interfere with this impending attack?!?

ACLU: FBI used 'dragnet'-style warrantless cell tracking

To nab a pair of men accused of robbing banks in Connecticut, court documents show the FBI turned to a novel investigative technique last year: warrantless monitoring of the locations of about 180 different cell phones, court documents show.

The FBI obtained a secret order--it has not been made public--commanding nine different telephone companies to provide federal police "with all cell site tracking data and cell site locator information for all incoming and outgoing calls to and from the target numbers."

But because the U.S. Justice Department did not obtain a warrant by proving to a judge that there was probable cause to suspect criminal activity, there's now a risk that the evidence from the location surveillance may be tossed out of court as illegally obtained.

“The kin of the dead can’t forget why they hate America”

Paul J. Balles says the reason why so many people in the Arab and Muslim worlds hate the United States is not envy of American wealth or power but injustice and greed. And the solution is simple: "Stop occupying their countries. Stop controlling others' land, populations, governments and resources."

Webmaster's Commentary:

The people of other nations do not hate America because we are free or prosperous (neither of which is true any more thanks to our Israel-centric government). They hate us because every time they see their loved ones blown to bloody bits, "Made in the USA" is stamped on the shrapnel!

Iran Changes Course on Ship; Israel Trains for the Worst

Analysts have pointed out that despite its verbal bravado, the Islamic Republic’s navy is the weakest part of its armed forces. However, Israel is preparing for the worst, and commandos are training for the prospect of meeting up with Iranian suicide bombers on the high seas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Come on, you have to know that whatever the Israeli government thinks of the Iranian leadership, the Israeli government knows they are not stupid!

If Israel attacks an Iranian unarmed humanitarian aid ship to Gaza, and that becomes the excuse for the start of a military conflict with Iran (US and Israeli military assets are already prepositioned in the Persian Gulf for just such an exercise), Iran will been seen as having had the moral high ground, not Israel and the US.

Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

Obama ban on deepwater drilling blocked

A federal judge Tuesday ruled against the Obama administration's six-month moratorium on deepwater drilling in the wake of the BP oil spill. The White House, which had hoped the ban would provide time to ensure other wells are operating safely, immediately said it would appeal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

My goodness, looks like BP has more clout in the US than the White House. We already knew the White House rolled over for Israel, but an oil company? Obama is totally useless!

So, I wonder who it was in the legal system that understands Obama is a lame duck less than halfway through his first term? Judge Martin Feldman, BP attorney Carl Rosenblum, Transocean attorney Steven L. Newman. Hmmm, I sense a pattern here!

As it turns out, the judge in the case has a conflict of interest! He owned stock in Transocean

Iran to send blockade-busting ship to Gaza

Iran said Tuesday it would send a blockade-busting ship carrying aid and pro-Palestinian activists to Gaza, fueling concern in Israel, where commandos were training for another possible confrontation at sea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is interesting because earlier today spokespeople in Iran were saying the aid ships were on indefinite hold. We know that Israel is playing all their chips to prevent any more aid ships from sailing, knowing that whether Israel stops the ships or lets them through it still amounts to a political defeat for Israel. So, I think the confusion may be Israel's usual game-playing and the good news is that this is a chance for Iran to spot Israel's agents-in-place.

Nebraska town bars illegal immigrants from jobs and renting property

A small town in the pig-farming and cattle rearing great plains of Nebraska has opened the latest frontline in the battle over immigration by voting effectively to banish all illegal immigrants.

Report finds U.S. tax money may be funding Afghan insurgents

Private security contractors protecting the convoys that supply U.S. military bases in Afghanistan are paying millions of dollars a week in "passage bribes" to the Taliban and other insurgent groups to travel along Afghan roads, a congressional investigation released Monday has found.

Webmaster's Commentary:

US Army hires contractor to transport the supplies soldiers need to fight the Taliban. Contractor hires locals to do the job. Locals bribe Taliban not to attack their convoys. Taliban gets money they need to resist US forces.

Mexican Gangs Maintain Permanent Lookout Bases in Hills of Arizona

Mexican drug cartels have set up shop on American soil, maintaining lookout bases in strategic locations in the hills of southern Arizona from which their scouts can monitor every move made by law enforcement officials, federal agents tell Fox News.

The scouts are supplied by drivers who bring them food, water, batteries for radios -- all the items they need to stay in the wilderness for a long time.

“Every night we’re getting beaten like a pinata at a birthday party by drug, alien smugglers," a second federal agent told Fox News by e-mail. "The danger is out there, with all the weapons being found coming northbound…. someone needs to know about this!”

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is no will from the Federal government to fix this, so it will not be fixed, which begs the question: who on the US side of the border is profiting so greatly from the drug trade that the Federal government is looking the other way?!?

Mexico asks court to reject Ariz. immigration law

Mexico is asking a federal court in Arizona to declare the state's new immigration law unconstitutional.

Lawyers for Mexico on Tuesday submitted a legal brief in support of a lawsuit challenging the law.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to President Felipe Calderon of Mexico: the people of the state of Arizona have stated, with the passage of this law, that they do not want illegal immigration in their state, with many other US states following through with similar legislation.

The US has for far too long had to absorb the costs of illegal immigration (particularly from Mexico), and can no longer.

I would therefore seriously suggest that you attempt to fix the broken fundamentals of Mexico's economy and infrastructure to the point that no Mexican national would seriously consider illegal immigration as a betterment of their life, because things are wonderful right where they are.

The US can no longer be a "pressure release" mechanism through illegal immigration for a Mexican government which will not do what it takes to create a better life for its citizens.

And should that lead to a new Mexican revolution, you must take the responsibility for having brought it upon yourself and your failed government.

Amid crises, Obama declares war -- on Arizona

The Obama administration has a lot of fights on its hands. Putting aside real wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, there's the battle against leaking oil in the Gulf, the struggle against 9.7 percent unemployment across the country, and clashes over the president's agenda on Capitol Hill. Despite all that, the White House has found time to issue a new declaration of war, this time against an unlikely enemy: the state of Arizona.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Arizona law mirrors the Federal law on immigration, which the Federal government refuses to enforce.

Were I a betting person, I would almost be willing to bet that the Federal government will lose this one.

Voters Say Hillary More Qualified To Be President Than Obama, Romney, Gingrich, Palin

U.S. voters think Hillary Clinton is more qualified to be president than Barack Obama, but most believe that both Democrats are more fit for the White House than three top Republicans interested in the job.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 57% of voters feel Clinton is qualified to be president, but 34% disagree and say she is not.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder precisely what target demographic Rasmussen Reports was polling to get this result.

Knowing where you are polling, and the congregate fundamentals of the areas you are polling, can skew an outcome of such a poll in a lot of different directions.

The Israeli government is profoundly unhappy with Obama, and believes that he has not done enough for them, even though it has 11 naval warships positioned in the Persian Gulf for an upcoming attack against Iran.

It may well be that this is their opening salvo in the campaign to replace Obama with Clinton in the 2012 elections.

Hoyer: Permanent middle class tax cuts too costly

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday that tax increases will eventually be necessary to address the nation's mounting debt, raising a difficult election-year issue as Democrats fight retain control of Congress.

In the shorter term, Hoyer raised the possibility that Congress will only temporarily extend middle-class tax cuts set to expire at the end of the year. He pointedly suggested that making them permanent would be too costly.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to House Majority Leader Hoyer; trust me, the middle class has nothing left for Congress to tax!

And you can't tax homeless people, because you can't find them.

Stopping the funding for these illegal and immoral wars (and not starting a 3rd one against Iran) would be some great ways for this country to staunch the Federal deficit.

Of course, that would be logical.

Over 2,000 Skimmers Available In US That Obama Refuses To Use

f one was a cynic than you would believe that the complete inaction on the part of this adminstration was purposeful and used in an effort to perhaps ram through their agenda. A crisis was created, its almost as if it is deliberately not being fixed, clear options on the table are not being used and one can only wonder why!

Senator Lemieux spoke with President Obama and the exchange between the two over the 2,000 skimmers in the US currently going unused to clean up this massive oil spill will blow your mind!

Webmaster's Commentary:

This was too good a crisis for Obama to "waste" in terms of promoting his carbon tax agenda.

Settlers target 'shared cities'

Jewish settlers storming the garden of an elderly Palestinian woman may seem like something you would expect to happen in Hebron, not cosmopolitan Tel Aviv. But that is exactly what happened to Zeinab Rachayel, an Arab resident of Tel Aviv's mixed suburb, Yafo.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What we are seeing is the beginning of a brisk Israeli annexation of land, which will be followed by forceful expulsions of Palestinians, perhaps even just beyond the boundaries of Israel, stateless, and homeless.

This is very obviously the Israeli plan.

Jun 22 11:33

USA: Why Should We Pay for BP’s Mess?

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico highlights the real state of US capitalism today. While making a lot of noise, Obama is not prepared to take on the oil companies in any serious meaningful way. What he is doing is passing the buck to the US working class.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Economically, we've flown by socialism right into fascism, where losses are expected to be absorbed by taxpayers, and profits are privatized.

The Death State Brutalizes, Tortures and Murders Because It Can

The shifting and even inversion of labels is a device the U.S. government uses whenever its goals change, and when the previous label would prove a hindrance to the policy it has decided upon most recently. What had been a "terrorist organization" is now a group of "freedom fighters," or vice versa as deemed advisable.

The truth of the label is of no moment whatsoever. When used by governments in this manner, labels are merely signifiers allowing pursuit of the chosen policy to proceed without objection.

Webmaster's Commentary:

George Orwell was not only a brilliant author; geopolitically, he was a prophet, and much of what he predicted in "1984" has come to pass, both in the UK and this country as well.

Jun 22 11:18

OK…. what does that all mean?
1. Hundreds of kosher restaurants in Israel will be forced to close down…
2. Thousands of food industry workers will lose their jobs…
OR 3. Thousands of Israelis will start eating foods not certified kosher…

All of the above reminds me of the days during the war in Vietnam….. hundreds of innocent civilians were being slaughtered daily yet there were those that made ‘Saving The Whale’ a priority’.

Easing of Israel's Siege May Have Negligible Effect on Gaza

The decisions of the Israeli government regarding the easing of the siege on the Gaza Strip were not felt on the ground the day after the decision. The economist Muhammed Skaik, trade officer at the Gaza branch of the Palestinian trade center Paltrade, told Haaretz that improvement and change depend on a number of factors and cannot be measured only by the increase in the number of items permitted to be brought into the Strip.

"Since January this year," he said, "Israel has added every month or two about 10 items to the list of permitted items. But ketchup, snacks and mayonnaise, for example, which are now permitted, are not essential items that will genuinely change the situation."

Webmaster's Commentary:

The alleged "easing" of the siege of Gaza was simply a PR stunt on the part of the Israeli government.

This is why the flotillas with aid for Gaza must, and will, keep coming so that the world understands with absolute moral clarity what the Israeli siege of Gaza is doing to its citizens, and that the siege is completely lifted.

Large majorities on Hill back Israel's flotilla raid

Even as Israel shows signs of loosening its blockade of Gaze, large majorities in the House and Senate have signed off on letters supporting the blockade and defending Israel's enforcement of it against a Turkish vessel.

Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell, along with 83 other senators, have signed the Senate version of the letter, which is backed by AIPAC; 298 members of the House have signed on.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to the American people: these congressional representatives have sold you out to Israel. Please get to know their names, and vote every single one of them out of office come November.

What was done to the humanitarian aid volunteers, a hijacking of aid shipments in international waters, has been thoroughly documented, and that documentation video dispersed for the world to see.

This was a massacre, pure and simple, on the part of the Israeli Navy against unarmed civilians who were simply attempting to defend themselves against Israeli aggression.

The Israelis also slaughtered, in cold blood, one American kid of Turkish descent named Furkan Dorgan.

Please note that not a word of protest from these Israeli-Firsters has been recorded about this assassination of an American citizen.

Vote them all out of office. The siege of Gaza must be lifted, and the sooner the better.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a good time to look back at all those US Attorneys who were trying to get Rubashkin off of the hook, and ask yourself were they working for the American people or if they are more of Israel's subversives in the US Government.

Israel's feeling of isolation is becoming more pronounced

Israel is no stranger to feelings of isolation. It weathered years of Cold War-era Arab and Soviet hostility. Books have been written about the United Nations' perceived antagonism toward the Jewish state. A well-known decades-old song, "The Whole World Is Against Us," is invoked today by Israelis who argue that no matter what the country does, it will be shunned.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel is not hated because they are Jewish. Israel is hated because they act like total assholes.

First day of summer in Iraq signals hot, violent months ahead

Iraqis protest power cuts in Nasiriyah, about 200 miles southeast of Baghdad, Iraq, for the second day Monday. Riot police in southern Iraq used water cannons to disperse protesters pelting them with stones Monday during a demonstration against power cuts as anger spread over the lack of basic utilities to fend off the country's searing summer heat. The sign at right, in Arabic, reads "No silence after today."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ah, more "progress" in Iraq, I see!

Obama Thinks about Releasing Innocent Yemenis from Guantánamo

While it is reassuring that the administration official who spoke to the Post recognized this, it remains disturbing that, in the cases of other prisoners who have won their habeas petitions (including two other Yemenis, Mohammed al-Adahi and Saeed Hatim), that same official spoke approvingly of appeals lodged by the government, because they, in turn, reveal a general unwillingness to accept the court’s rulings which, at present, means that 12 of the 34 prisoners who have won their habeas petitions are still imprisoned.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So are many of these guys still rotting away at Gitmo really the "worst of the worst", or did they just have the insanely bad luck to be at the absolutely wrong place at the absolutely wrong time, and the US government is so embarrassed by the reality they have no case against them that it won't release them, no matter what the courts say?!?

Pakistan troops violate ceasefire again

In the second ceasefire violation in as many days, Pakistani troops on Monday fired at a forward outpost along the International Border in Jammu where the Border Security Force foiled an infiltration bid by militants.

A mobile patrol party of the BSF of the Border Outpost at Abdullian in the R.S. Pura Sector was fired upon by militants from across the border with the intention to infiltrate into Indian territory around 04.05 a.m., a BSF spokesman said here.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to the adults in the room in Islamabad and New Delhi: the last thing both of your countries need right now is a shooting war.

One has to wonder if the timing of this incident was engineered to prevent the talks which are scheduled for 24 June in Islamabad between Indian Foreign Secretary, Nirupama Rao and Pakistani Foreign Secretary, Salman Bashir, from happening.

And finally, the referendum on the future of Kashmir must ultimately be held to ratchet down tensions, and place both countries on a better path toward peace.

The Obama administration's flagship effort to help people in danger of losing their homes is falling flat.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More debt and fancy bookkeeping will not fix this economy. Nor will continued looting of the people to give bailouts to Wall Street tycoons already richer than they can count. One thing and one thing only can turn this economy around and that is to bring the high paying manufacturing jobs back to America, and Obama is too busy bowing and scraping to Israel to be bothered.

The Ethanol Trap

The most disgusting aspect of the blowout in the Gulf of Mexico isn't the video images of oil-soaked birds or the incessant blather from pundits about what BP or the Obama administration should be doing to stem the flow of oil. Instead, it's the ugly spectacle of the corn-ethanol scammers doing all they can to capitalize on the disaster so that they can justify an expansion of the longest-running robbery of taxpayers in U.S. history.

BP's Other Toxic Legacy: 'Decades of Misery' for Gulf Health

After studying cleanup workers from the Exxon Valdez spill, Ott is convinced that today's Gulf fishermen are not merely risking their short-range health. "The Exxon Valdez oil was considerably less toxic than Louisiana sweet crude, and it wreaked havoc on any life forms that encountered it," she says, including brain lesions, coma, and death. "We are setting up here for a giant human tragedy — decades of misery — especially if a storm or hurricane spreads it to normal everyday people onshore."

You’ve Gotta Fight For Your Right…To PARTY!

And what’s all this fuss about that “so-called” peace flotilla. Israel had every right to rappel down from American funded helicopters in international waters and assassinate people. God knows what would happen if those coloring books and crayons of mass destruction got into the hands of Hamas pre-schoolers. Now I hear that a shipload of nuns is on their way to Gaza. I guess we should just let them get food to those poor Palestinian children so they can get all nourished and grow up to build bottle rockets that land on empty lots in Jerusalem.

Snake Dancing like Sleepwalkers into Childhood's End

The toxins from the oil spill are traveling in the air and causing spontaneous diarrhea outbreaks which (according to witnesses), are causing whole communities to stink; giving witness to how pervasive it is. Those on land and sea are also experiencing a variety of reactions to the poison that is filling the breathing spaces with all sorts of terrible anti-body chemicals. There’s word of a huge gas bubble that might explode and send tsunamis, hundreds of feet high in all directions. Meanwhile, the alien and satanic driven, crime syndicate nation of Israel is motoring into the Persian Gulf to attack Iran with their American bitch, done up in leather restraints and gag-reflex ping pong balls, like some zombie nation that got born in that basement in Pulp Fiction.

PM Erdo?an strongly rejects call for state of emergency amid escalating terror attacks

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an defied calls to declare state of emergency in Turkey's southeast as acts of terrorism escalate in the region.

"We are doing whatever is needed in the fight against terrorism," Erdo?an said, adding that the government would not step back from its drive to expand democratic rights and freedoms, an effort which came to be dubbed as "the democratic initiative."

Webmaster's Commentary:

In light of the current strains between Turkey and Israel due to the Israeli flotilla massacre, one has to wonder if it is not only the Kurdish rebels who are attempting to foment terror and unrest in Turkey.

Privacy Change: Apple Knows Where Your Phone Is And Is Telling People

Apple updated its privacy policy today, with an important, and dare we say creepy new paragraph about location information. If you agree to the changes, (which you must do in order to download anything via the iTunes store) you agree to let Apple collect store and share "precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device."

Apple says that the data is "collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you," but for some reason we don't find this very comforting at all. There appears to be no way to opt-out of this data collection without giving up the ability to download apps.

Abbas appeals to US over Silwan construction plan

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat says Palestinian president contacted Washington to urge US to take action to cancel King's Garden construction plan in east Jerusalem. 'US must take swift action against this provocation,' Abbas' spokesman says

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat: the US may "express concern" over the building plan which calls for the demolition of 22 Palestinian homes, but will do absolutely nothing to prevent it.

Obama has proven that he is pathologically impotent to counter any element of the Israeli government's agenda.

And the clearest demonstration of this?

The US has 12 warships in the Persian Gulf area right now, accompanied by one Israeli ship, with 3 dolphin-class Israeli nuclear-armed subs already prepositioned in the region.

The US is getting ready to attack Iran right now. All this situation needs is the appropriate "trigger" to be used as the justification, and the attack will be greenlit by the US government.

Iran has done absolutely nothing to the US, nor anything which would make such an attack either logical or moral.

In the development of its power plant, it has abided by the letter of the NNPT agreement, to which Iran is a signatory, and still got slapped with UN sanctions.

The only reason the US is about to go to war with Iran is that Israel has declared it an "existential threat", and just as happened with Iraq, Israel has decreed that the US has to "neutralize" Iran for them.

This means that it will be American kids who will fight, get maimed for life, and die in the US government's complete capitulation to Israel's agenda.

So, unfortunately, this country will be of no help on the demolishing of Arab homes in Silwan.

In fact, what you can expect to see shortly, is a brisk Israeli annexation of both Jerusalem and the West Bank, and the forced expulsions of Palestinians whose families have lived there for centuries.

The US is incapable of being an "honest broker for peace" in the Middle East.

Barak responsible for ‘pasta siege’: Ex-officials

The comments came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the government “has taken the right decision for Israel from a security and political point of view” in significantly easing the siege on Gaza, which was imposed by the Olmert government.

On Monday morning, the former prime minister’s associates said Barak, who served in the same role in the Olmert government, was fully responsible for the “coriander and pasta policy.”

“Barak and Amos Gilad (a defence ministry official) insisted on maintaining this policy, which hurt Israel,” said an Olmert associate quoted by online Ynet news.

Belarus 'to suspend Russian gas transit to Europe'

Belarus will suspend Russian transit gas deliveries to Europe after Moscow cut supplies in a dispute over debts, President Alexander Lukashenko says.

Mr Lukashenko said the neighbours were facing a "gas war" and he would resume supplies only when Belarus got $260m (£176m) in outstanding transit fees.

Earlier, Russia cut gas supplies to Belarus by 30% after Belarus failed to settle debts of $200m (£135m).

The dispute has the potential to affect 6.25% of gas consumption by the EU.

Rogue Israeli agents sent Pollard to spy on U.S., ambassador claims

Israel's ambassador to the United States on Monday said that convicted spy Jonathan Pollard was not working for Israeli government spymasters but for a rogue intelligence agency - apparently contradicting an official state position.

Oops there: looks like Oren and Netanyahu didn't strategize their conformities before Oren did the radio interview.

And to any and all who advocate "clemency" for Pollard: he was a traitor to his country, period, end of discussion.

Israel is very fortunate that the US didn't execute him for treason.

Warship Sinking: Russia Demands N Korea Be Not Named In G-8 Summit Draft

Russia has demanded member-states at the upcoming G-8 summit refrain from blaming North Korea for the sinking of a South Korean warship in a draft of the meeting's statement.

Citing a Japanese government source, a Kyodo news report said the demand follows an investigation by a team of four Russian Navy submarine and torpedo experts into the March 26 sinking of the 'Cheonan' in the Yellow Sea in which 46 South Korean sailors drowned. Moscow says it has yet to reach an official conclusion on the warship sinking.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remorseless Times Square car bomber Faisal Shahzad warns: 'We will be attacking the U.S.'

A self-proclaimed "Muslim soldier" who bungled a plot to bomb Times Square promised Monday that others will succeed where he failed.

A remorseless Faisal Shahzad pleaded guilty to the frightening scheme to blow up the Crossroads of the World on a busy Saturday night, when it was packed with New Yorkers and tourists.

"It's a war," Shahzad, 30, said in a hateful screed to Manhattan Federal Judge Miriam Cedarbaum.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This so reeks of "setup", particularly in light of the fact that the bomb was so badly fabricated that it couldn't have possibly detonated. For one thing, he bought the wrong type of fertilizer, leading to his nickname the "Bandini bomber".

One has to wonder if the timing of this hearing was engineered to scare Americans right in advance of some other huge "false flag" event, perhaps on or around some very significantly American holiday, like the 4th of July. Like his predecessors the shoe bomber and the crotch bomber, the Bandini bomber is a staged propaganda piece, to make sure the public blames the correct designated target when the big bang to launch the invasion of Iran happens! The PR runup we are seeing today mirrors almost exactly the one seen in August of 2001.

Legionaries of Christ Founder Raped His Son as Vatican Looked Away

On Monday, Raul Gonzalez filed suit in Connecticut against the estate of his father, Roman Catholic priest Marcial Maciel Degollado, founder of the Legionaries of Christ. Gonzalez claims that his father sexually abused him -- along with many other boys -- and while the Vatican was not named a defendant, the lawsuit said that "from at least the 1950s until 2002, the Legionaries, Fr. Maciel, the presiding Pope, the Vatican, and its officials engaged in a conspiracy to conceal their knowledge of Maciel's abuse of children."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I guess Marcial Maciel Degollado figured that if Pope Alexander VI could bang his own daughter in the Vatican, he could get away with screwing his own son!

The following are quoted from William Manchester's "A World Lit Only by Fire- The Medieval Mind and The Renaissance" .Little, Brown & Company, 1992

"Once he became Pope Alexander VI, Vatican parties, already wild, grew wilder. They were costly, but he could afford the lifestyle of a Renaissance prince; as vice chancellor of the Roman Church, he had amassed enormous wealth. As guests approached the papal palace, they were excited by the spectacle of living statues: naked, gilded young men and women in erotic poses. Flags bore the Borgia arms, which, appropriately, portrayed a red bull rampant on a field of gold. Every fete had a theme. One, known to Romans as the Ballet of the Chestnuts, was held on October 30, 1501. The indefatigable Burchard describes it in his Diarium. After the banquet dishes had been cleared away, the city's fifty most beautiful whores danced with the guests, "first clothed, then naked." The dancing over, the "ballet" began, with the Pope and two of his children in the best seats.

Candelabra were set up on the floor, scattered among them were chestnuts, "which", Burchard writes, "the courtesans had to pick up, crawling between the candles." Then the serious sex started. Guests stripped and ran out onto the floor, where they mounted, or were mounted by, the prostitutes. "The coupling took place," according to Burchard, "in front of everyone present." Servants kept score of each man's orgasms, for the Pope greatly admired virility, and measured a man's machismo by his ejaculative capacity. After eveyone was exhausted, His Holiness distributed prizes- cloaks, boots, caps, and fine silken tunics. "The winners", the diarist wrote, "were those who made love with the courtesans the greatest number of times."

State Department warns Americans: Israel might kill you

Following weeks of conspicuous silence, the Obama administration is taking decisive action in response to the Israeli Defense Forces’ killing of Furkan Dorgan, an unarmed U.S. citizen aboard one of the ships in the “Free Gaza” flotilla who was shot four times in the head by IDF commandos: it’s telling Americans to stay the hell out of harm’s way – that is, out of the range of the Israel’s U.S. taxpayer-subsidized weaponry.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A real President, who understands that his job is to take care of America and Americans first and foremost, would park a couple aircraft carriers off of Israel's coast and lay down the law. "Touch my people and lose a city."

An American government that will not stand up for America and Americans first and foremost, is useless. An American government that will not protect Americans in international waters is a government that has already surrendered to the enemy that attacked us.

No real patriot can support a government that will not support the American people.

Iran sanctions bill unveiled by US lawmakers

Top US lawmakers crafting Iran sanctions legislation announced Monday they had reached a deal on a series of punitive measures aimed at piling pressure on Tehran over its suspect nuclear program.

Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Howard Berman said they were circulating their draft bill to colleagues, and sources said the US Congress could approve the measure as early as this week.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Notice the timing of the proposed passage of this bill; right after Israeli Defence Minister Barak has left Washington on Saturday, and as 11 US Navy vessels are headed into the Persian Gulf, accompanied by one Israeli corvette.

Most likely, any one of the stipulations of this legislation could well prove the "trigger" to allegedly justify an attack against Iran.

Iran has done absolutely nothing to deserve being attacked; it only has the horrendous geopolitical bad luck of being characterized as an alleged "existential enemy" of Israel, and for US leadership, that is, apparently enough to justify an attack against it.
