Thought for the day

"We're so self-important. So arrogant. Everybody's going to save something now. Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales, save the snails. And the supreme arrogance? Save the planet! Are these people kidding? Save the planet? We don't even know how to take care of ourselves; we haven't learned how to care for one another. We're gonna save the fuckin' planet? . . . And, by the way, there's nothing wrong with the planet in the first place. The planet is fine. The people are fucked! Compared with the people, the planet is doin' great. It's been here over four billion years . . . The planet isn't goin' anywhere, folks. We are! We're goin' away. Pack your shit, we're goin' away. And we won't leave much of a trace. Thank God for that. Nothing left. Maybe a little Styrofoam. The planet will be here, and we'll be gone. Another failed mutation; another closed-end biological mistake." -- George Carlin

Powerful storm Fiona slammed into eastern Canada on Saturday with hurricane-force winds - nearly a week after devastating parts of the Caribbean - as hundreds of thousands are without power in one of the strongest storms ever to hit the country.

The National Hurricane Center said the center of the storm, now called Post-Tropical Cyclone Fiona after being downgraded from a hurricane, was crossing eastern Nova Scotia, bringing high winds - some the level of a Category 1 hurricane - and heavy rains.

World War III has already begun. You simply aren't being told this because your government and dishonest media outlets are dedicated to keeping you in the dark. After all, they want to use the remaining time to stockpile food, ammunition, medical supplies and precious metals for themselves, and this can only be accomplished by withholding the truth about the situation for as long as possible. The Prime Minister of Serbia may be an exception to this, as he is now publicly warning that the world is about to experience a "great world conflict" that will likely begin in the next two months.

Today on TruNews, host and founder Rick Wiles checks in from Amman, Jordan, providing updates on his trip to the Middle East. Later, Vladimir Putin looks to be ramping up to full mobilization in the ever escalating conflict with Ukraine, with Dmitry Medvedev saying the world will need new maps in the near future. Fuel shortages are already putting the crush on Europe, as rationing is in the cards in the near future. Finally, Rick and Doc talk about drag queen shop classes in Canada.

The new president of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) said Wednesday he fears the country's fragile health-care system will deteriorate further without an injection of cash — and a plan to increase the number of doctors and other health care professionals.

Dr. Alika Lafontaine, an anesthesiologist in Grande Prairie, Alta., and the group's first Indigenous president, told CBC News that Canada's health care is in "dire" straits, with quality care severely limited in some parts of the country.

A Canadian school board is “standing behind” a trans teacher who sparked protests after turning up to classes with “clownish” giant prosthetic breasts.

The blond high school teacher went viral after being filmed operating a cut-off saw in class while wearing tight black shorts and balloon-like breasts drooping around the waist in a tight, striped top.

Other images taken by pupils at the school in Oakville, about 20 miles outside Toronto, showed the same teacher in other outfits, with huge nipples protruding from the fake bust.

Many leftists tout Canada’s socialized health care system as something America should emulate, claiming government-run health care is more humane. But it seems Canadian officials are more interested in urging doctors to help patients to kill themselves than to treat them.

A US destroyer and a Canadian frigate sailed through the Taiwan Strait on Tuesday in the latest joint operation aimed at reinforcing the route's status as an international waterway.

The United States has long used 'freedom of navigation' passages through the Taiwan Strait to push back against Chinese claims and Western allies have increasingly joined these operations.
